  1. you bet! at one point i had considered doing separate videos for each unique system board, but after looking at the lists for Sega, Namco and Taito (and seeing how many of them only had a few games even released on them), i scrapped the idea. Plus, finding adequate artwork for all of them just didn't seem very feasible and making it from scratch just wouldn't be as genuine. i clump CPS, Lindbergh, Type X and a few others all into one platform (though CPS systems are pretty easy to find stuff for each one).
  2. thought i was losing my mind after moving files over to a new drive (completely forgot to change it to NTFS from exFAT). big thank you for the easy workaround!
  3. Sega Ring Series (RingWide/RingEdge/RingEdge 2) Platform Theme Video (16:9 soundtrack & 16:9 soundtrack no intro) View File I decided to do something a little bit different for this one. Rather than having all of the "Ring" systems split into separate platforms, I keep them all in one (same for Capcom Play System and Taito Type X systems). This platform video covers all three of the "Ring" systems as a result and works as a "catch-all". I have also included a Platform Clear Logo for it. I was going to do soundtrack and game audio versions in both 16:9 and 4:3, but this required a fair amount of time to finish so only a 16:9 with soundtrack and a no intro version with soundtrack are included. I am by no means an After Effects pro (purely a hobbyist), but if you would prefer a game audio variant or 4:3 variants, just drop a comment here or send me a DM. Though a 4:3 variation will require an extensive amount of editing to the original composition to make it look right. If I do make other versions, I will updates this thread and the YouTube playlist as well. In any case, I have to give thanks to @Solo for the RingWide/RingEdge clear logos as I used them in this video and also thanks to Fernando Caldas for the awesome music. I do not know where it was sourced from, but they used it in their own Ring Series video, which is available here: Also thanks to Enzeefx for the fantastic template that I used to make doing the intro significantly less time consuming. Link below for anyone interested in checking out some of their templates: https://www.enzeefx.com/ I also have to give a mention to @Trymado as I took inspiration from the videos that he has made for TeknoParrot, Type X, etc. Hope you guys enjoy. ** Added media set for Ikaruga ** Just sharing the media I have for the 13 games in my Switch collection. The media available from scraping the LB DB and/or EmuMovies is very limited at the moment, so hopefully this will help someone out with anything they don't already have. There are two downloads; one for images and the other for gameplay snaps. Some of this I had to just search for and in some cases trim/re-size and in a few cases just improvise and make my own mock up, but I am certainly not responsible for everything here and some of this was scraped from within LB. This includes media for all games: Box - front/back/spine (sorry, no 3D) Cart - an alpha layer was used to add enough negative space for the carts to look proportional to the box (similar to the GameCube discs I re-sized) Fanart - I tried to get multiple images for each game where I could to add some variety Banner - in case you use a view in a BB theme that can take advantage Game Select - where applicable; Super Mario 3D All Stars has one for each game on the game select screen Gameplay Game Title - for Ninja Gaiden Master Collection there are multiples for each game in the set Clear Logo Gameplay snaps There is a showcase below in case you want to preview the media before downloading: If you need a Platform Video, I have you covered here:
  12. I revised the layout a bit to reduce size of console image. Let me know if this works and thanks for the feedback.

  14. @PaulyC For views 2 & 4, if there is no box - front option, but they have a 3D box, it will show it but also includes the 3D model (see below). If there is no box - front or 3D box, then there will just be empty space in the spot the box/model would normally be.
  15. Anyone know what LB/BB is using as its built-in PDF viewer? I had assumed it was Sumatra, but the interface doesn't look like it. I am wanting to be able to have Manuals/Strategy Guides open with bookmarks and also remember the last location it was opened from instead from the very beginning of the document. I have Sumatra sets as the default in Windows for PDFs and if I open up these PDFs it works as expected since I made all of the necessary adjustments. However, in BigBox (even though I chose to disable using the built-in PDF viewer in Options), PDFs continue to open using whatever this built-in app is whenever I am in-game and open the Pause Menu and choose to either open the Manual or Strategy Guide and it will reset back to the beginning. If I leave it off for both Manuals and Additional PDFs and open either one from Game Details screen, they both open in Sumatra using the setting that I specified for it. Can't figure it out. I like being able to use a controller to scroll up/down and exit from a document with the built-in app, but I also want to have the bookmarks on the side to have a jump list and also have the pages in a book view and have it remember where I last left off. Hopefully someone knows how to get this working correctly from the in-game Pause Menu. I made a short video that might detail the issue better It seems while in-game it is using a browser as you will briefly see the icons to print or download the document. Hoping there is a way to get manuals/guides/etc to open up in Sumatra while in-game as this would be a great feature to have to not need to start from the beginning of the document each time its opened up.
  16. @PaulyC Everything is working perfectly now, good sir. I'll let you know if I come across or notice anything else, but I think at least for my platforms, this is perfect. Good melding of Refried and 3-Dimensions.
  17. @PaulyC awesome! i'll just wait for the update. i'm alright with disc spinning in general; was just the ScummVM where it looked a little odd
  18. @PaulyC No worries! The spinning discs issue is with ScummVM. MSX/Amiga work just fine. For ScummVM though, some games will be on CD while others are on floppies and with the current views available, the discs and floppies will spin since no matter which view you are using they all include the spinning. Might be good for all platforms that are CD-based to have at least one view option where the disc doesn't spin (in case people just don't like that at all).
  19. Easy peasy. Edited the video to remove the splash, title and character select at the beginning
  20. Love this theme! Great work on it. Retrohumanoid (hopefully he comes back around someday) has done some great work and this is an awesome update to the theme! I was also wondering if there is anyway to turn OFF the disc spinning? I am using this for ScummVM and some games are on discs while others on floppies so I'd rather just disable the disc spinning altogether for this platform. Also using it for Amiga, MSX and Windows and noticed that Amiga and MSX do not spin. Tried to dig in the XAMLS but wasn't sure what to search for exactly so gave up :D. Anyway this is some fantastic work and I think Retrohumanoid would be proud. One other thing I noticed. With 3DS the gameplay snaps don't fill the entire viewport. I attached screenshot. NDS work just fine in the viewport. I tried re-encoding one of the 3DS snaps to match the size of the NDS ones (480x720), but it didn't change anything so figure it must be something in the theme squishing them down.
