  1. I play my games on very large screens, so I generally use bezels to take up some of that space. It is hard enough to get large display output to look half way decent in old games anyway, so I am not a fan of stretching the output. I used to use Rocket Launcher for everything. I even wrote my own modules. I made that guy sing and dance! Having said that, I ripped it out of my cab not too long ago because the effort to keep things working was just too much. I now use MAME and Retroarch for the majority of my systems with the built in bezel functions. I am much happier now. I also use the built in support for CHD file format in Retroarch when available, so I don't have to wait on large extraction times. There is work to support the latest CHD format (V5 at the time of this post) in more and more cores, so needing to use an old version of chdman will hopefully go away soon. For those systems that don't support bezels, I wrote my own simple bezel code that works well for me. The only feature I miss from Rocket Launcher is pause support. I would like the ability to display controller button assignments either from a database, or just static jpb/png files. I could probably extend my bezel code for this, but since I knew work would eventually be considered for LB/BB, I have held off.

NIB files aren't supported in any emulators as far as I know. See this for further info:
  3. There are three different platform type videos available for PinBall FX2 from the LaunchBox "Download Platform/Playlisst Theme Videos" choice in Options.
  4. Are you referring to adding pics to the database, or within LaunchBox itself?
  5. I use Vice and have no issue with having things to load up with no intervention. I suggest you start Vice externally and check your Autostart settings. Also, you can add -autostart to the default command line options to see if that sorts things for you.
  6. Are you launching from a Platform list, or a Playlist? If a Playlist, I think there is a known problem with the information LaunchBox sends to RocketLauncher.
  7. How about these? I inverted some colors, added some borders/glows.
  8. If memory serves, the problem relates to a .Net permissions problem and network shares. There is an old post about this if you can find it.
  9. Here are a few I have done. Feel free to use any or none as you see fit. It is easy enough to changes colors, spacing, etc.
  10. Nope, being a coder I understand the logic. Save the user from himself, if you can!
  11. I just noticed the value for Download_SelectedItem in the ini file isn't being honored upon an exit/restart of stellar. Perhaps it is because I selected New Install?
  12. You don't say what type box you want to create, or if you plan to create a lot, or a few. If you only plan on making a few, this online one works pretty well: http://ronenness.github.io/3D-Box-Shot-Maker/ If you plan on making a ton of them, something like Boxshot V4 is very capable, but also pricey, IMO. You can also use any 3D modeling app like Blender to create shots (there are many YouTube videos that walk you through it).
  13. Another vote for the Drivepool software. I have used it and competing software and always come back to it. Even though development has slowed from the early days, the software just works.
  14. @fyrenthenimar, your Psikyo request has been posted.

  17. I use the following workflow when wanted to do something similar. I use DAEMON Tools Lite to mount the mds to a virtual drive. You can then use your favorite tool to create an iso image from the virtual drive. Once you have an iso, use the batch file you referenced.
  18. @fyrenthenimar, your requests have been posted in the Game logo section.
