theme CriticalZone / CriticalZone - BlueBox
zetec-s-joe replied to CriticalCid's topic in Big Box Custom Themes
This didn't work sadly, but worth a try thank you @CriticalCid anyone using a 40 odd inch screen or higher running 1920x1080p will 99% be using 150% Display scaling as reccomended otherwise HTPC setups are unreadable, any chance you could include official alternate font size files in the Themes folder? Would be a very nice touch- 626 replies

Theres also a windows program called antimicro that allows you to map the Guide button without doing anything else, if you leave the rest as default and just map the guide button it should work fine with whatever other map software you use. I use to use it and set the guide button as quit game by holding for 3 seconds

Okay, I got it wrong, it's GCM, work for both GameCube and Wii clean ISOs, it doesn't remove anything just compresses them magically and should still work on modded Wiis etc and the new title of converted games comes out as Super Mario Galaxy (USA).dec.iso To reverse just run through the easy to use program again, you can add a whole folder or drag and from to batch convert All credit goes to the creator who is known as LedZepperlin68? If any of the creators etc want this down I will delete the post. Let me know your results please comparing. It's meant to be the new best way for Wii and GC NASOSbeta2.rar

This is another good one! But I've gotta admit, I do love the red and blue guns on the one you dont like haha

I thought it was decent! and yeah, i know of you from HS Forums, you do some great work (Y)

It only happens when loading from any drive other than the C drive, very weird and annoying
-
How is that bad? it's the best one I've seen so far!
-
Thanks guys for the advice, and I will try that command line out soon! I have tried uncompressed roms before and that didnt work either
-
Ahh, just to make things clear, I have SSD for OS and a 7200 RPM Internal for Storage, It happens on the internal storage drive aswell as any external drives, just annoying
-
Are you running the ROMs from an external HDD? if so extracting to the C drive should maybe help, it fixed the issue for me anyway, it still annoys me that I havent been able to fix the issue, surelly loading PS1 titles from an external HDD thats 7200RPM should be fine!
-
Even though I have a top spec Alienware Alpha R2 i7 8gb ram 970 nvidia I get the issues loading any disc based ROM from external HDD's (Framerate hits randomaly every few seconds) , I found having RL extract the compressed roms to a temp folder on my C drive which is an SSD plays everything perfect with not 1 issue, hopefully LAunchBox can add that to remove RL

I think I've seen this, but I don't think it supports uncompressing to a chosen location

My Retro Gaming Room (work in progress)
zetec-s-joe replied to LogicalEgo's topic in Collections and Builds
Lovely setup, what specs are the PC? -
I use RocketLauncher for one reason only.. all my ROMs are compressed to 7z and stored on my D drive, RL uncompresses them and makes the temp file on my C drive which is an SSD and stops with framrate issues I get loading from an external HDD? I am hoping LaunchBox may get this feature down the line so I can remove RL from the system. I do need to put a request in i guess!
