  1. Looking forward to the progress here. On a side note - are there any thoughts on doing something similar for the GOG pack? It's bigger than the exodos pack at around 0.51TB, though the games are less in number.
  2. Hi eXo, quick question regarding the exoDOS and Win3xO packages. I put them both in the same directory with all games in a joint games subdirectory. I ran the Win3xO batch file and it seems to be decompressing all the artwork. Do I still need to run the exoDOS batch file afterwards? Thanks. Edit: tried it with just the Win3xO batch file. Started Meagre - get the error message: "no data found - please check folders". I have not moved any folders around - simply left things in the root folder as suggested. Any help appreciated. Edit2: seems it doesn't like having the & symbol in the directory name. Removed that, changed it in the meagre.ini file and now it's loading the folders.
  3. I'm currently about 15% into my download of exodos 2.0....should I cancel this and await 3.0?
  4. Just wondering how the work is progressing here
  5. Love the overlay effect for these old games. Would change the background to something more nostalgic though, like a dusty shelf or something
  6. Any updates on the integration agenda here? Been 5 months since the last post. Great work eXo BTW.
  7. Any updates here? Bootcamp is fine but it would be nice to see a native Mac solution.
  8. Certainly, here it is: https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/PC-Video-Games/New-2013-Neo-Arcade-stick-Controller-STOCK/B00B85XKU8/ref=sr_1_sc_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1484750027&sr=8-4-spell&keywords=neogeox Or: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Neogeo-x-Arcade-Stick-For-Use-with-the-Neogeo-x-Station-Only-NEW-/351934494632?hash=item51f0ee37a8:g:iNAAAOSwnHZYU6qc Or: http://neogeox.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=51 Or: http://www.superufo.com/products/snk/SNK_NeoGeo_X_Arcade_Stick.html Hope his helps! I haven't tried it without the USB adapter as my machine is USB-C only. I will try it on another machine in the house, hopefully later today, and let you know.
  9. Or shall I send you mine
  10. In fact it is possible to have a hierarchical system for the platforms, e.g. Consoles / First Generation / Individual Systems Consoles / Second Generation / Individual Systems Kind of like Quickplay does (which has an inferior interface but good features):
  11. Would be great to have platform categories. Like to have a few top-level platforms like "consoles", "arcade", "computers", "handhelds" etc and then the actual platforms within those. Is this possible?
  12. I've just started experimenting with themes. I like the Big Couch theme, and like the retro video set. When I put them together, it doesn't quite fit: How can I get the video to enlarge slightly to fit, and why is text being cropped off the left? This is how it should look: Thanks!
  13. This is great! The only comment I have is the graded fill of the background to the videos. This makes the video look out of place when it is placed in a theme:
  14. Love this one, but on all my systems (not just the example below) the image overlaps the text a bit, not nice and slick like on the screenshots. See here:
  15. That did it, many thanks! Great looking theme. Pity it doesn't have themes for the Atari systems or CPC464.
  16. Just looking for some help with installing a theme. I downloaded the file, unzipped the contents into a folder in the Themes folder of Launchbox, then selected the theme in BigBox. However, I get this: What am I doing wrong?
  17. One of the default skins? There is only one default skin in my BigBox menu and it's called "default"? Edit: my mistake - I see that Abstract-Kevlar is one of the skins in your download. I can find it in the folder. Line 52 of the AOStyles.xaml reads: <System:String x:Key="AOSkin">Abstract-Kevlar</System:String> Now what do I do? Do I need to install Visual Studio?
  18. Do I just unzip all the files and put in Minimal-AO directory in themes, and then select it in BigBox? I don't need to install anything else?
  19. I might have chosen the wrong folder before. I chose the right one this time, and it still doesn't look right:
  20. It's Launchbox 7.4.
  21. I've only recently installed Launchbox and this is the first time I've tried to install a theme. I have Minimal-IO in the themes directory and selected that in the Big Box menu.
  22. I did that, but it doesn't look anything like in your pictures! I downloaded all of the files for this theme and extracted into the themes directory. After selecting your theme, it looks like this:
  23. Where's the intructions? How do I install this great looking theme?
  24. Thanks for the further replies. I tried anti micro but funnily enough it doesn't see the joystick. Sounds like anti micro would be more hassle than it's worth anyway! Sentai - yes I tried with and without the use all controllers option - no difference. Jason - yes I can image that it could be. It's a fairly cheap joystick - why don't you buy one and you can look into it? I can image that there are other Launchbox users who would like to use the Neo Geo controller.
  25. Any advice here from the mods/devs?
