  1. Does this still work? I'm assuming that the select button is the "back" button on the controller? So, holding down back, and then start as well, that'll close CEMU? I'm starting to work with a Steam Link to run my emulators in the livingroom, unfortunately BigBox was giving me some issues, so I've been manually adding Wii U game shortcuts to steam. The thing that I hate so far is that you can't close out of emulated games via XBOX 360 controller. But if this method still works, than this will be awesome :-)
  2. These look fantastic! Great work, and thank you for putting all of your time in to make these.
Absolutely wonderful theme, definitely in my top 3 favorite interfaces for my games. This is my current theme, and I love it. Always a pleasure to see what @shro2016 comes up with. I like that he always puts out content that's a little bit more creative than most. Seeing things like company logos and controller images makes these themes a bit more fun in my opinion.
  3. Moonlight on the Vita is not great at this stage. It def feels like a beta. Sometimes it works great, other times it's just intolerable and drops the connection frequently. One thing to keep in mind though, is that my desktop is on wifi, and so is my vita. I'll be hardwiring my desktop soon(ish), but for now, that's what my experience has been. I'm really looking forward to Rainway though.
  4. You rock! I can't wait to make some time to set this up and check it out This is gonna be awesome Thank you for doing this @shro2016 I think it's really awesome of you to have gotten around to a new theme so quickly.
  5. Wow, thank you. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help out. I did put in a feature request in regards to this. It's probably more of a niche feature, and I might be the only one that really cares, but I think it would be nice to not re-start the same video when you go from the platform game wheel to the game itself. Once again, you've done an awesome job, and I'm actually using your new theme as my primary one right now. I've done a lot of work towards creating a lot of the PC box art, so I've got an emotional investment against changing it out for the banner images. :-P
  6. @Juicebag85 I think I fixed it, download the new one and let me know what you think.
  7. @shro2016 overall, I like somethings, and dislike others. I do like how you can change the background color by using the views, and I love that "Free Play' is still a GIF in the corners. My only complaint is that there isn't a way (unless I'm being really derpy about it) to change the size of the covers. I don't like how the covers get cropped. In your previous Theme, you could change the views to reflect different sizes for the covers. Ideally, I like to have the covers all fitting within the borders, and then have the front/center one a bit larger. Aside from that one complaint, you've done an incredible job. Sorry it took me a bit to get back to you. I'm planning on doing controllers/company logos for my games, I've just got this whole "real life" thing going on with other projects. It's been a crazy hot summer here and I've been installing ceiling fans in every room, a second swamp cooler, and I have a bunch of fans setup to route cold air throughout the house. It's been quite...time consuming and expensive. I've still got to install some tinting on the second half of the house. I can't wait until Autumn right now A perpetual nice cool breeze would be amazing! Anyway, awesome work like always, I'm looking forward to the tinkering/customizing I can do with your themes. Not sure if this is possible, but, on the theme level, is it possible to have a gameplay video on the game selection screen, and then the trailer for the game on the game screen? So you see a preview of the game, and then when you select the game (before you play), you get the trailer for the game instead of the gameplay video again. I've been curious about this for a while, and I don't think BigBox natively supports that, but I thought I'd ask, since I haven't yet gotten my hands dirty with trying to create a Theme of my own. Keep it up Shro!
  8. Not sure if this might be applicable, but @Jason Carr, could this potentially be something LB could sell as merch? Even if you sell them at $5-$7 each (100-200% profit - shipping), this might fill in a niche in the LB/BB community. Or maybe tagged along with Premium lifetime purchases?
  9. Your last theme was awesome, I can't wait to check this one out! I actually started creating these templates in anticipation of this theme coming out. Not sure if you, or anyone would want to use them, but I thought they'd be cool if anyone wanted to set things up on a per-game basis.
  10. That, all of a sudden, makes a LOT of sense. I never actually thought about it that way, but yeah, there are series of games that span multiple consoles, so that makes sense. I might look into doing that.
  11. Just curious, because I've never experimented with it, but what is the advantage to playlists?
  12. You'd have to order 10, but you can order a custom one here.
  13. Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but it seemed close enough. So I've recently discovered that Moonlight is available on the Playstation Vita. Which means that I can use BigBox on my Vita now, which is absolutely amazing to me. I was looking into this because I finally caved and ordered a Steam Link, since it's on sale for $15 for the Summer sale, $22 after shipping. During all of this, a friend of mine on Facebook pointed out Rainway to me, there isn't much info out about it yet, but it seems to be something like Plex Media Server, but for games, and allowing remote streaming. So, what I picture in my mind is, being able to stream your games to any computer within a web browser, and possibly with the PS Vita while connected to wifi away from home. Both of those ideas just blow my mind. I don't have a PS4, and I never subscribed to PSNow while it was available on the Vita, so this (and moonlight) are going to be my first experiences at streaming to the Vita. So needless to say, I'm crazy excited about all of this news. It's like, having a DIY Nintendo Switch, but using BigBox as the main interface, and heck, thanks to Switch Theme, you can turn your PS Vita into a switch. I just had to share this, it might just be common news by now, but I'm excited about this. And after I build my dedicated HTPC, I'll basically have free reign to stream my PC games to either my or my wife's PC and the PS Vita, just so long as we're not streaming from it at the same time. I'm literally overjoyed by this news. I'm very glad I got my Launchbox premium pass, and decided to hack my vita when HENKAKU came around, and also very glad I decided to buy the Steam Link(can't wait until it ships). Ten years ago, I wouldn't have even thought that I could do anything remotely like this with gaming. Btw, does anyone know if the Steam Link does surround sound?
  14. Oh, I see, I'll have to try that out when I get home. Thanks!
  15. So far, I'm not 100% sure. I've just noticed that Star Trek Armada doesn't do cinematics when the image isn't mounted, and I think (could be waaay wrong), that some other older games like Black & White also liked to have an image mounted. I don't have an optical drive anymore, so I was thinking that for games that want/need a disc image, it would be nice to have them mount automatically at launch. Yup yup. So do you have it automatically mount? If so, how? I've typically just been right-clicking on the image, and then select mount to drive. I think I can specify if I want it to be CD/DVD/BRD if I want to, but the defaults have always worked for me. I've never tried to automate the process before, so I don't know if it would end up stacking, or just ejecting the previous image or not. I'll need to experiment when I get home and see. I've never done Sega Saturn emulation, so I don't know if it would differ or not.
  16. So, I'm slowly bringing back more and more older PC games to my library, and although I am accustomed to mounting iso/cue files for older games, in this case Star Trek Armada, I've grown a bit spoiled by launchbox's ability to do pretty much everything automatically, leaving me to just double click and let everything run. With Star Trek Armada, it doesn't break the game at all, it just doesn't load any cinematics. I found this post, discussing DAEMON Tools Lite and Sega Saturn emulation, but I can't seem to get the suggested fix to work for me. I just wanted to know if there was an easy way to have Launchbox automatically mount the image via DAEMON Tools Pro, and then have Launchbox launch the installed game afterwards. It's certainly not a deal breaker if this isn't possible, I just think it would be convenient if this was something that could be done.
  17. Thank you for this, it's a really awesome video set, my only issue has always been that I didn't like the choice of games for the PC ones, in particular having a racing game set as the first in the AAA titles, so I used your PC one and made it an overlay for this one :-) Not sure if I like it 100% yet, I might end up doing something more unique in the long run, but I think you did an awesome job, and you were truly an inspiration to me with your set of videos. Thank you!
  18. There was a "Launch Settings" shortcut in the GOG\Games\Doom II\ folder, and I could map all of the keys there. @lordmonkus I believe you have saved me once again. I feel kind of derpy about how simple of a fix that was.
  19. @DJQuad so I came up with this: w::Up s::Down a::>!Left d::>!Right Which seems to work for the most part, however, my mouse left/right movement is now strafing, and whenever I click/hit enter on a menu item, the menu wants to back out of it immediately. Outside of the game, I've been able to test it, and it seems to be doing what I want, I'm just having issues with this last step in-game. Any suggestions? EDIT: then everything went berserk, like, my entire keyboard and mouse was doing random things (even with AHK exited out), had to reboot.
  20. When I get home, I'll give it a go :-) thank you!
  21. I know I'm going to come off as a complete idiot here. But when I double click the doomii.ahk to run it, windows prompts for a program to open the file with. I know with batch scripts I can just doubleclick and it runs. I'm assuming I need some kind of extra software installed before I can run this script on its own. Although, when I was messing around with Higan, I was able to put the script into launchbox and I was able to get it to perform a keypress that would fullscreen the emulator after launching it.
  22. I have not tried, and to be honest, I'm not entirely sure how that all works. I was actually just looking at the "Additional Apps" tab, and I was wondering if there was a way I could make the script it's own file, and then just add it as an application that starts before the game starts. But I don't know how to do that either.
  23. @lordmonkus you are truly amazing. I swear, even just browsing the forums I've learned so much from your posts. You rock!
  24. You have a couple of different options, depending on how quickly you want to get into BigBox. This is the first and easiest method This is a good option if you're not going to have your computer on the internet, or if you don't want/need other programs working in the background, outside of BigBox. http://lars.werner.no/?p=117 This is a compromise in between the two. This will bypass the windows launch, start BigBox up directly, and any other programs you specify. I will say though, I'd recommend option 1 or 3 if you have your computer connected to the internet in any way, that way your anti-virus and firewalls can start up. Option 2 is more for a BigBox setup that is just built to boot into BigBox as quickly as possible, without initializing anything outside of BigBox. Options 2 & 3 do require a little bit more advanced knowledge and require tinkering in the registry, but if you're comfortable doing that, and your setup is an offline HTPC/Arcade Cab then I think they might be better choices. Option 1 takes a little longer to get BigBox initialized, but it's by far the quickest and easiest to set up.
