Just tried it in BigBox with RetroArch 1.0.0.2 and 1.6.0 and 1.6.7 and it's worked in all of them. 1280x720 resolution and RetroArch overlays etc. Yeah so that very first script you posted worked for me even though my resolution is different. I'm still on Windows 7 so I bet it's you Windows 10 guys that have a problem with it. I'll try it in DEMul tommorow but I expect it to work. I'll finally get my right analogue stick back heh. Thanks Monkus. You're on fire lately.

I've not tried it in BigBox yet, just LaunchBox. Lemme go check......
-
It does work. I've just tried the first script above that Monkus posted above and it WORKS. My resolution is 1280x720 and it still works. I have overlays in RetroArch too. "Darn cursor hidden" using three little words! Or one word and two numbers if you want to split hairs. I can unbind "mouse movement" from my Xpadder controls for a few more emulators now. Wow. You are adding the script to the AutoHotKey tab on the Edit Emulator screen yes?

You've done one post here but I know your name from somewhere. I've always wondered what holding your drums feels like. Hmm. Are you from TiZ?
-
Haha, why you no chooz nun of the abuv? Seriously, looking forward to the official build. I'm too scaredy cat for beta's. I like these small improvements, rather than big outlandish 3D engines and whatnot.

Ahh sheet. Thanks. I haven't the read the thread all the way through yet.

Definitely. It is so easy just to collect up shortcuts into folders and drag and drop them into LaunchBox. I then treat shortcuts as if they were Rom files, naming them meticulously so they scrape well which you can't really do with .exe files. Those folders then sit in with my main Rom collection. I've used this method for these platforms: Windows (Indie Games) Windows (Homebrew Games) Windows (Retail Games) OpenBOR MUGEN Big Fish Games PopCap Games GameTop.com Games As has been said before though, removing the "need" to choose an emulator for these guys would be nice. A fair few times I've gone to play or open one of these only to be greeted with the 4DO emulator heh. Other than that, never had a problem with the .lnk method. It's great.

HAHAHAHAHA. I'm a sucker for the "WHY YOU NO" style lol. Why YOU NO SPEAKA DE ENGLISH? Why YOU NO DEVELAP? Why YOU CALL ME GARABAGE? I wish we could have signatures. I would so quote you here Monkus removing the quotations marks to make it look like you said it lol ;-)

Garabage. LMAO

I doubt it's the age of your equipment. I'm using a 2006 Asus P5W DH Mainboard with a Q6600 overclocked to 2.88ghz and 4gb Ram. I've only just upgraded to a fresh 64bit Windows 7. I've not done any Windows updates or anything and pretty much out of the box, my existing LaunchBox setup which I've been using for a year plugged straight back in and works fine....with 19000 games. I think the only thing I had to do was install .NET 4.6 or something.
-
Oh. It's probably pointless me doing a 0.190 install until the database is updated. Ah well. Can't have it all I suppose.
-
I think I'm gonna treat myself to a brand new 0.190 install after this 64bit upgrade and then import it alongside my existing 0.149 to LaunchBox. So excited for that. How comes you're OCD about it Nate? Do you feel like you're missing out on something?
-
Thanks for your help mate. I appreciate it.
-
Thank gawd for that! I'm just limbering up to do the upgrade in the next couple of hours and that question you just answered was going to be a really big headache for me. I need to keep my Hi Scores lol. I'm so happy about that. If you don't mind, I've got another question while you're here. Do all 32bit programs run on 64bit, and then there are the separate exclusive 64bit programs? (This is such a 2010 question but I've been putting this off for so long. Sorry to derail the thread). Thanks.
-
Oh wow. I never thought that was possible! Thanks Monkus. Another question, probably a stupid one :-). My MAME 0.149 executable is 32bit. Will it be possible to run that on a 64bit Windows 7? I know there is a specific 64bit executable but my current 32bit one is modified for Hi Scores.
-
Is it possible to have two instances of MAME imported into LaunchBox?
-
^^ Hahahaha. I'm still on 0.149 because I'm too shit scared to even touch my MAME setup either in LaunchBox or the previous front end I used to use, incase something breaks. Also, the MAME executable I use is modified to save Hi Scores. This was from before the time that Hi Score saving became officially available in MAME and I doubt that I can carry them over? How the hell can I ever upgrade and lose all my scores :'-(

Do you sometimes make a list of videogames on .txt?
JamesBond@ge replied to kyle25011193's topic in Monkeys
I'm forever typing out .txt files with the names of games in them. I just can't stop myself. -
Harry are you oke, are you oke, are you oke Harry. Harry are you oke, are you oke, are you oke HARRY. Harry are you oke, won't you tell us, that you're oke. Name that tune! And while you're at it....laugh at my joke goddamit. I pulled this out on the YouTube live stream announcement yesterday to stop me punching a teddy bear and no one laughed. All I got was tumbleweed. I can't think why.......

I'm really really sorry Dave. I've changed my mind on that. I was waiting to see what was going to happen today. And now I saw (a pale horse).

It's kind of patronising to tell people to "so be patient". I feel like I'm gonna rage ALT+F4 in a minute with the things I've been patient for.

You sound like my Mum with this line.
