  1. Mame No-Nag Updated Monthly, Current Version:

**This removes the nag screen that informs you if a rom doesn't work correctly, or if at all, if you use this no nag, then please do NOT go to the mame support site with issues with games, please only use if you understand that there will be no help from anyone at mamedev as you are using a modified version of mame.

Contents: mame.exe - Normal Mame with Nags removed. (Note mame no longer carries the 64 in its exe name changed by Devs in 0.229)
This version also allows the games Akai Katana and Dodonpachi Saidaioujou  to be played.
It's advisable to download the full mame official pack and install it, then just overwrite the exe with the replacement, this covers any changes the mame devs may have made to the support files.
After you have done this, make sure you copy the folders artwork, ctrlr, cheat, hlsl, ini, folders and the ini files from the root of your original mame folder, and move/copy them to the new install.
If you are using your own installed/setup of mame then make sure you also set in the mame.ini  'Skip_gameinfo  1'
If you got Launchbox to setup mame for you when asked, you only need to replace the exe and play.

As some are not sure about  False Positives, and report a virus was detected, As goes for all versions i upload, they are all ran through virustotal before i upload, and if by any chance something did end up with an issue it would be noticed very quickly after upload and would be removed/restricted.
    0.271 - https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/0f581ffd99f1b5b614688d0f92f9cafb5f161ed4e911771adfff8852ac9748d4/detection

All NEW versions of the No-Nag will be posted in this download thread only, if you wish to get the new releases every month, either follow myself or the thread, As the download section will not show any new releases.

  5. Nintendo - MSU-1 3D Cases (Updated)

A set of MSU-1 Covers, in the UGC format.
    *UPDATE*
New V2 pack, all covers so far now in two seperate packs, Single case or Dual case, You can use one or the other, or if like me you can use both.
The Reflection effect has been removed, this was asked for a few times..
60+ cases had some changes made to the front covers using the correct MSU logo's ie, Super Famicom games now using a Super Famicom Logo instead of the Super Nintendo one.
All cases to date are in these packs, and as far as im aware, this covers every game that has had an MSU-1 Patch.

    There are 2 sets
Single Faced - 292 Covers, most have alternates using the USA/JPN and PAL cover styles
Double Faced - 293 Covers, most have alternates using the USA/JPN and PAL cover styles.

These covers are not meant to be accurate representations of the original boxes, these are customs and are to be treated as such.
The naming is standard Launchbox/Super Nintendo Game names, so unless you have them named different, you should be able to drag and drop into the Box - 3D folder. (i recommend if you have my older boxes to remove them, and start fresh.)
(Note: Boxes are labeled using one of the options Single or Dual, if you want to use both sets, you will need to manually edit each title in LB and drag the new extra box(s) over and set it to 3D Box.)

A lot of these covers came from http://thecoverproject.net . Covers that did not exist i tried to make as carefully as i could.
I am no artist, all the images contained in these Cases are from the net and are made by more talented people than myself,
i make these primarily for myself, so i hope you like them, and will use them.

  10. Mame 0.235 No-Nag

    Important:
Mame changed the BGFX shader, if you are using this shader, i recommend you either make a completely New install and set it up to how you like, or change the shader options before running a game, then add the no-nag, if you try running this over an older install with the BGFX shader you may find your screen will be dark and barely visable.

  16. Mame 0.229 No-Nag

Change for 0.229,  Mame no longer carries the suffix 64 on its executable, so either rename the exe to add the suffix back, or update your mame emulators for LB & RL to the non-suffix version. This change was introduced by the mame devs this month.

  19. Mame 0.227 No-Nag

    New Year, new release.

This release is not a simple drop into Mame, you will have to use a full mame 0.227 setup from mamedev.org, this is due to changes that have been made since 0.226. Once you have that installed just drop this version on to it and overwrite.
If you already have a Mame install that's not 0.227 i suggest renaming your current folder and make a new one, install 0.227 and the no-nag, then from your original Mame copy the folders artwork/cfg/ctrl/hi/ini/nvram/roms and any ini files from the root folder (mame.ini/plugin.ini/ui.ini). And overwrite when asked too.

NOTE: This does NOT interfere with the Leader boards at all.
**This removes the nag screen that informs you if a rom doesn't work correctly, or if at all, if you use this no nag, then please do NOT go to the mame support site with issues with games, please only use if you understand that there will be no help from anyone at mamedev as you are using a modified version of mame.

  20. Pinball Clear Logos

If you are like me, and like to avoid using silver ring and docklets in your build then the following pinball clear logos maybe what you need.
    Pinball FX2 - Complete set.
    Pinball FX3 - Complete set.
The Pinball Arcade - 165 logos.
    Future Pinball - 457 logos.
I want to add, i did NOT create a lot of these logos, they are from various sources spread around the net, some are on LB's database, but i have yet to find them as a complete set, They may well exist on PinballX's private ftp, but as i have no access there i spent time going through each one to complete them for my own build.
I made any logos that i could not find or ones that were exceptionally bad.

Thanks goes to all persons involved in making any media for our hobby.

  21. MAME 0.224 No-Nag

There was no real change to last months codebase for Warnings.
This could be the last No-Nag i release as the Mame devs maybe adding a softer option for game warnings, some code was added in the previous release but was rolled back just before release, notes were added in mame 0.223 as to what may be acceptable in future builds, the following are the notes as posted. As this may or may not appear in the next release i will wait until then to make a decision on future versions.
-Revert "ui: allow to skip warning popup at start" [Vas Crabb] * This reverts commit 74f456df945cd1720dc4d6bc105f64c13e62ced8. * I will allow the feature with the following conditions: - No skipping red warnings. - A key-value map of device shortnames and yellow warnings must be stored in the .cfg file, along with a timestamp of the last time the system was run and the last time a warning was shown. - On starting a system, the map of device shortnames and yellow warnings must be built and compared to the one loaded from the .cfg file. If it doesn't match, if the system hasn't been started in seven days, or a yellow warning hasn't been shown in 14 days, the warning is not to be skipped. There is an added option in the TAB menu in game to see any Warnings that have been suppressed on loading a game, showing if the rom has any known issues, please use this option to check the game/rom before using any online forums for help with the game/rom in question

NOTE: This does NOT interfere with the Leaderboards at all.
**This removes the nag screen that informs you if a rom doesn't work correctly, or if at all, if you use this no nag, then please do NOT go to the mame support site with issues with games, please only use if you understand that there will be no help from anyone at mamedev as you are using a modified version of mame.

mame64.exe - Normal Mame with Nags removed. For Version 0.222
Its recommended to download the full 0.222 official pack and install it, then just overwrite the exe with the replacement, this covers any changes the mame devs may have made to the support files.
After you have done this, make sure you copy the folders artwork, ctrlr, cheat, hlsl, ini, folders and the mame.ini file from your original mame folder, and move/copy them to the new install.
For those of you on old installs make sure in the mame.ini file you have  the following set.
    Skip_gameinfo  1

***If you use this no nag, then please do NOT report game issues or rom issues to mame support
