The BannerBox platform view code was designed so that the entire full screen that you see is essentially one giant horizontal wheel, specifically designed for banners with the ratio of 386x1080. Without a banner, you end up seeing what you see. Themes have full control over what you end up seeing visually on the screen. If I were to code this theme today, I would have built it more robust with fallback code to provide a better experience for when a banner doesn't exist, although at the time the theme engine wasn't robust enough to accommodate that. Thank you for explaining it. Despite this one issue, it's an absolutely gorgeous and very usable theme. Quote

Find the other banners in the theme's file structure and just place it along with the rest, just make sure the name of the banner is exactly the same name as your platform. You may or may not need to refresh your image cache after you do this inside of Big Box. where d?o i find these other banners? and i mean the banner to replace the original one with? Elmo80 Posted Thursday at 03:39 AM Posted Thursday at 03:39 AM Hi, This theme is fantastic. I was wondering, if anyone or the creator has a banner image for the SNES that rather than USA version of SNES is the PAL version? Also how would it be possible to replace one of the fonts to something else? In particlar the menu options. I managed to change the background MP4 to a cyberpunk style night city backdrop and looks amazing. I'm quite impressed, i feel like Steve Wozniak. Thanks Quote

You might be able to find that banner in this thread: https://forums.launchbox-app.com/topic/54534-bannerbox-community-banner-thread/#comment-346381 There's a lot there. I also have an upload of all of my banners here (including templates): https://forums.launchbox-app.com/files/file/2406-bannerbox-bordered-clear-logo-banners/ Quote

I was able to find a replacment banner and this may be a stupid question. I replaced the banner in the images\platform\banners but the old banner still appears in big box. I've search the whole folder and the original file cant be found. What would i be doing wrong? Edited Thursday at 11:47 AM by Elmo80 Quote

System Menu - Options - Images. Then do one, some, or all of the Refresh Image cache type-options. (Don't have BigBox open right now, so the menu/options names may be slightly different. But should get you towards the right direction) Quote
