  1. Could you try the following for me: 1. Make sure LaunchBox and Big Box are both closed. 2. Navigate to your LaunchBox folder 3. Find the folder called "Images" and enter it. 4. Look for the folder named "Cache-LB" 5. Select and delete that folder. 6. Open Launchbox. Then tell me if that resolves your issue.
  2. I have tracked the bug down and squashed it @Krakerman it will be in the next push. This only affects Steam games without trailers available.
  3. What media types from where? Just tried on several games across several platforms and couldn't get it to fail. If "error out" means the bug report screen could you send me a copy of the text inside it?
  4. I merged topics. In the future @WillyT please do not create a second thread for the same issue. It makes it very difficult to get a look at the big picture and assist in the resolution of your issue.
  5. Please see: The URL the Import Wizard is expecting is very much so still correct and has nothing to do with your profile ID/Number.
  6. There hasn't been many console's released that you can't find SOMETHING good on (least none that I can think of). The platform's I generally enjoy least are some LaserDisc games or Atari console. Fav Atari game is probably Joust.

  8. Right now it is just getting familiar with the code base and a lot of nuances of it and the features of Launchbox and Big Box that I'm not real familiar with. I DO work around 8-5 but Jason is flexible with my hours so I can address life as it happens pretty comfortably.
  9. Not a secret if I TELL you....
  10. It's a play on my name. I used it because I couldn't get the email I wanted with GMail. Just has stuck ever since.
  11. See, the power to post is not one to be taken lightly. You have caught a glimpse into what can happen when drunk with that power. It is a reminder to us all to be ever vigilant in our struggles keeping this monster of a responsibility in check.
  12. Need to be careful how you word your requests... @Jason Carr probably saw the word "hang" and will now being hanging my from my toes... Thanks in advance...
  13. I see now that I have amassed a FOLLOWING! I thank you kind trendsetters for joining me on this journey. I must warn you that the path before us is a long and treacherous one. Some moments will be GLORIOUS, others a complete train-wreck. I can only guarantee you one thing.... It'll be one HECK of a ride! Buckle up, hold on tight, and lets see where this venture takes us!
  14. Much obliged. Not sure about CHOPPING lines of code. Launchbox is Jason's baby, I start chopping off limbs, he'd very quickly chop of my head. While I am not the fairest in the land I have grown quite attached to my dome and would prefer not to do something that would jeopardize it's existence!
  15. Thank you, I am sure you will bore of me soon enough.
  16. My humble suggestion would be to use Big Box in locked mode. You can then go into Big Box -> Options -> Security and turn on Exit while locked. It would then be the only option you see.
  17. You can bug whomever, whether it results in the answers you seek that I cannot promise. Jason does allow me some freedom in regards to what I work on but I still have a honey-do list I have to tackle. If it's not on that list the odds of me getting to it aren't great. Because of that Jason still may be the best to suck up to.
  18. What do you mean? African or European swallow?
  19. Edited OP to reflect new rank.
  20. I can assure you friend, asking for a glimpse into this mind and the dreams it thinks up can be a bit of a double-edged sword. Be careful what you ask for. To be honest. I purchased the license for Big Box but I don't use it as much as I planned to. I haven't gotten a dedicated Big Box build complete yet because I had to focus my resources else where. Once I get it though it will be really nice to show off. A lot of the features make it easier for my children to use then standard Launchbox does as well which I have used it for too. SNES is probably my favorite console/generation. I also love me a good Scumm throwback. I currently don't have a dedicated gaming rig. My rig wears many hats simultaneously, GameMaster is one of them.
  21. Aww man... I gotta get serious? Fine... Quite frankly I was presented with an opportunity to leave a job I already didn't enjoy to work from home on a product I use and love. Was a no-brainer. I applied thinking it'd just be cool to talk to Jason, see the man behind the curtain sort of thing. One of those, "Wouldn't it be awesome to just get a chance..." moments. I looked forward to being able to flex my programming skills on a product I enjoy. Having a community as cool as this one standing behind the product also is pretty awesome. There is also the added benefit that I secretly get to add in features I've been wanting for a while but couldn't add since I didn't have the source. Now I get a chance to be a little greedy, MUHAHAHAHA!
  22. A man (or woman) willing to get his (or her) nose dirty to get what he (or she) wants. I like it.
  23. Only once, though it is only so I can till the field and water his gardens.
  24. They need time to contemplate. there could be serious ramifications in giving this new and unproven individual so much power! What if he turns out to be some ego driven tyrant drunk with his newly acquired power? They would forever be known for helping this horrible person rise to power! What if he turns out to be some enlightened kindhearted soul sent to re-leave them of what ever ails their Launchbox related woes, and when given the chance you simply asked, "Do you like games?". This is a task to be approached cautiously and carefully. One does not proceed haphazardly when approached with such a dilemma...
