  1. Sounds like you potentially hit a rate limit with the Steam API/Website. I was importing my Steam collection over the weekend so I know the functionality is working. I do know Steam has been getting more fussy about their rate limit since the deck came out. We put some code in to help with this recently, but I'd like to take another look soon to see if we can improve this even more.
  2. I did with Faeran after I posted but don't really remember what came out from it. Some of the situations aren't as straightforward as they could be if wanting to use FlowContext. If just wanting to use a logo using the old CoverFactory is of course an option. Feel free to PM me and remind me in the future. Been working hard on the next version and I admit it slipped my mind after that initial talk and I forgot to post any update on the forum. My apologies. You have a concept image of what you're ultimately trying to that I could see that would help me make sure I'm getting you the best information?
  3. .NET 7.0 isn't LTS so we would never move to that version anyway. We are moving versions soon, but are changing how we release the app so that runtime download/installation isn't required.
  4. Means you have a corrupted image file associated to that game and the program is failing to open it
  5. What resolution are you running at?
  6. LaunchBox often needs restarted after enabling game controllers before the input can actually be used. I'd enable the option, press OK to save changes, then close and reopen LaunchBox and then try to set the bindings and see if it improves then.
  7. Wall view does support an index, that being said to access it you must press the "Show Index" binding, you can't navigate to it using the direction keys like you can in other views.
  8. Errors point to there being an issue with the theme you're using. This error also happens a lot on drives that aren't NTFS formatted.
  9. Yes, the default box logic looks at the spine image and uses it's dimensions to determine whether it's a top/bottom spine or a left/right spine. If the image height > width then it's left/right, otherwise is top/bottom.
  10. Can attempt to throw em in a zip file then use the image pack importer tool and see if it associates them correctly
  11. Tools > File Management has tools in there to help you move your items in bulk. You'll want to do it one platform at a time though. Select the platform in LB then Ctrl+A to select all, then run the tool.
  12. As of right now the app is framework dependent, meaning it's portable as long as the machine you're moving to has .NET Core 3.1 runtime installed. Next version we are looking at publishing a version of the app that is self-contained and has the runtime included which would remove that requirement.
  13. We've been asked by the site owner not to integrate SteamGridDB into LaunchBox until they get their new API up and running and are respecting their wishes.
  14. This is likely related to the emulator you're attempting to launch and it requiring admin rights for some reason.
  15. The MAME arcade lists don't look at the GamesDatabase at all to do what they do. Typically it's driven by the Source field that we get from MAME itself (though that isn't true for all of them). You can right click the playlist in question to see what logic is driving it. I don't believe any of those playlists are manual.
  16. I've never personally used the app so I'm not entirely sure. If Google can't get ya sorted out perhaps some one on the forums who's done it can chime in and get you the answers you need.
  17. F5 refreshes the selected item(s)
  18. On the left side bar is a drop down where you can change what sidebar filter you are using. Simply click that drop down and select "Games Missing Media"
  19. After selecting the folder click on the text box and erase one character then put it back. Does it work then?
  20. Sounds like a metadata file is corrupted. Could you try the following: Close LaunchBox Go to \\LaunchBox\Data folder If there is an ImageQueue.xml file in that delete it Reopen LaunchBox to go Tools > Download > Force Update Games Database Metadata Then you should be able to run the Download Media/Metadata wizard again and pick up any media that didn't get downloaded if you need.
  21. AetherSx2 is no longer officially supported by it's developer and is actively (and intentionally) being made worse via the Play Store to break existing functionality and add adware to the application. Older versions work just fine, I doubt we (LaunchBox) will be able to really do much with this emulator moving forward as it's actively being developed to discourage it's use by any user, let alone one using a frontend (something the dev openly despised even when the application was still supported).
  22. Are you changing anything in LaunchBox after you restore your backups?
  23. Make sure when you plugged in your second monitor your refresh rates didn't get messed up in Windows. Some times hooking in a new monitor reverts the settings and places them at weird values. Ensure both monitors are running at 60hz+ and that the refresh rate in your emulator matches.
  24. Sounds like at some point you may have changed your marquee image folder via Edit Platform to point to a different folder for your images. You'd need to change the path back to the default location
  25. I deleted your other post. No need to make two. You have two issues going on here. One is that you don't have the videos this theme plays in the background and since it doesn't fallback to anything your screen just looks black. Second issue is that you probably have nahimic running on your system or are using an integrated intel graphics card and need to open intel's graphic suite app and set Anti-Aliasing on Big Box to either on or off (it defaults to some "Detect" option that breaks things)
