Hello, I was to write a question in this forum to ask how far the ability to integrated high score in some page would be possible. Related to my general question first in this Now that I see this thread, may I ask you...What I understand from this add-on is the ability to have score 1 to 3 integrated into game detail, which is good. Now my question and please consider a have new skills on programmation (well, not in this technology, more database developer)...Could it be possible to have in a separate LB, BB field ? Where then we could add it anywhere in any page ? I'm pretty sure it was your first idea but probably more complicated and probably need LB, BB changes...is it ? Another related suggestion would be to a another field that have , let say, top 3 high score...another field, your high score... My final intention is to build a theme with a focus around High Score...your high score but also other hish score...A good way in my own opinion to make the play more challenging and fun.

Thanks Retro808. Yes, my idea will be to knock each door, Y2Guru from 'Community Theme Creator for Bigbox' and write this in help & support. Now that I know it doesn't exists, I will not search for nothing.

Hello everyone, I like to focus my theme on high score. My wish would be - Top 5 games with my high score in page 'TextFilterview' - My high score + top 3 high score from others in page 'TextGameView' - My High score + the high score from others in 'Wheelgameview' I only see so far a way to display the object detail description where you can see the high score but mixed with a bunch of other game detail... Probably all my request is not possible right now without complex development and programmation, which i do not have the skills. I'm using the excellent 'Community Theme Creator for Bigbox' right now. So, my question could be around how far this is possible in your own opinion ? Should I request it thru the idea suggestion support ? Or should I ask the person under the 'Community Theme Creator for Bigbox'', maybe it is just a question of wrapping xaml arround this ? Thanks...i will go back to my toy and configure my new acquisition for my cab ... 2xlight gun

patrickfx replied to ChaosChaos's topic in Big Box Custom Themes
Oh! I see, make sense. I will then concentrate back to more basic stuff . I rebuild my software probably every 5 years...I'm in that now ... LB , BB is fantastic but i may say it is. up and running at 95% in 10 minutes...but the last 5 % will take you couple of days -

Interesting ... I follow this, Indeed it is not my main focus right now but this could become interesting, specifically for marquee video. But I think fanart is related to that, if i do not misleading things ... -
Arcade Cabinet Big Font View File Hello, Here my first Big Box Theme release, mainly focusing on Big font, big wheel, big everything. Typical use for Arcade Cabinet with CRT television. But should work on any type or size. I have 2 types of vertical view for wheel. One with image and the other with video selection. Image Vertical view for wheel are for sure more safe for slow CPU. In my case I run a Core Duo only and normal video from emumovie are working fine. The full theme video at the other hand are barely ok. Note : To use normal video rather theme video I just rename the folder of theme video to make sure BB don't find it and use normal video. Thanks to Thimolor, i started my theme base on LV-101 Submitter patrickfx Submitted 10/25/2020 Category Big Box Custom Themes

Well, to your defense. I do the same brain logic. To OUR defense, many many many time a setup in BB has to be done in LB. All, playlist, emulator, platform and so on. So, first reflex is to go and look into LB for it. Cheers

I have the same issue. In my case i went in LB, right-click the platform, use delete option. But it is worst, the folder structure are still there with all images. How can i get out of there. Sure i can delete manually but i tend to evitate manual intervention , sometimes, that hide more long time problem.... Any suggestion ?

Hello everyone, Since i rebuild rom the ground my PC (format ... install ...) , my LB setup with Emumovie no more work. Can you help on debug this ? Idea ? Hint where to look ? My setup include : BIGBOX, MAME roms, EMUMOVIE PREMIUM account The login is successful at LB - emumovies options page. (See attachment) No video is present in any folder under launchbox. When I did a simple download media from one very commun game like 1942, i receive that message "Game was not found at emumovies n in the emumovie system list" (See attachment) I also attach a screenshot for the 1942.zip file !!! Is there custom theme for tv cabinet arcade
patrickfx replied to patrickfx's topic in Big Box Custom Themes
Yep! I do feel a little ... eeee... should i accept . Do not want to disappoint you ! But sure, send me what the theme demo and i will do testing and send you some screen shot. That beeing said, i do only have mame installed, it is my main focus. Maybe time for me to get some other !!! But still, i will be interresting on coleco, c64, atari...yes, old school. Also, I'm not a guru like some of you in LB. But to my defense, i do have that cabinet for 15 years now, so i know the principle of it. My best wish is to have a cool theme that able to deal with - Low low res - Not CPU intensive - Big font size (including wheel)...cause low res tv by definition cant or at least are not fun to read if small - Please for eyes. So, enough information but with low res and low cpu, not too fence animation there and there and there ! My spec is ... dont laugh is a core duo 2.93...vostro 220. My main game play is classical and soon i plan to buy light gun but ok with gun game under 1995... -
Hello everyone, I'm using bigbox for a year now, it is fantastics. But one thing i still looking is a theme which focus on low (very low) resolution aspect. I have a arcade cabinet connected to a 27 inch crt tv via s-video. I do a lot of effort to keep that old tv working, oh my, but this is not related to my point So, almost all theme have so (too) many informations on the screen that it is not possible to read. Any suggestion , i try dozen of them. Some have the menu at left with only screen video but still, would appreciate a bigger left menu (the game list) with maybe some minimal information like, year, star number, number of player... Should I build one myself I start looking but seem to need some skill in development to do so.

Hello all, I have a custom cabinet for about 10 years with a old but still working CRT TV 26", play 100% mame games from 70-80-90's . Summer arrive, and I have a LCD HD 42" available. What should I do ? Pro's to change to HD LCD: A-May have more information readable on screen with launchbox theme (Better resolution). Could be fun to read information about games B-May able to add virtual bezel (right and left), which can be VERY cool for visual experience. I see some cabinet build like that! C-Ligth weight the cabinet (Not sure actually if this is good). More easy to move though Con's to change to HD LCD D-Very afraid of visual experience, heard ther is simulation of scanlines, but no experience at all. How good it is ? Easy to setup ? E-May take less depth Sure my main question is question D...I know CRT with little curve TV is the best...!
