  1. Hehehehehe, I hear you there. That's the same reason I spend more time developing LaunchBox than playing the games, myself. ;)
  2. Very cool. Your English is perfectly fine, btw. :)
  3. No worries, @romefitforbattle, welcome! I haven't done much with it myself, but I know there are at least a couple people here on the forums that use RocketLauncher with LaunchBox, so it is certainly possible. I believe you can just set RocketLauncher up as an emulator. Hopefully someone else can chime in with the setup process though. It might be worth searching the forums for RocketLauncher as well.
  4. Very nice @diegogskt. Love the images. :)
  5. I see, sure. So the issue is not being able to add additional apps to additional apps, basically, from what I'm understanding. Doesn't sound like there's going to be an easy solution.
  6. Bah, just search for ImagesReorganizedFor5. ;)
  7. Whoops, the forums screwed up my text, sorry. <ImagesReorganizedFor5>true</ImagesReorganizedFor5>
  8. :) I've been meaning to add parental controls for ages now. Just keeps getting pushed aside for more interesting things.
  9. Nope, I don't believe that was ever added or requested. I will add that to my list though, of course. :)
  10. Oh, hmm. That's a scenario I hadn't thought about. You might want to back up your LaunchBox folder, first, but I believe it should move all the images on startup if you change this line in the LaunchBox.xml file: <ImagesReorganizedFor5>true</ImagesReorganizedFor5> Change that line to false instead of true and it should move the images. Let me know how that works. I should probably create a menu item to trigger that; I'll add that to my list.
  11. Not fully following, Derek. Can you explain?
  12. I think it's because of the í character in the file name, can you change that character and upload them again? Sorry for that.
  13. Hi @diegogskt, welcome. :) For some reason the images aren't working though.
  14. Hi @CADScott, I believe I've removed MESS from the list of default platforms. Haven't reviewed it recently but pretty sure it's gone.
  15. There are 4 common Windows DPI settings: 100%, 125%, 150%, and 200%. Other DPIs are used, but less commonly, and that tends to cover the vast majority of situations.
  16. Hi @shock66, it is generally a good idea to use a separate install, but I get the impression that most people don't bother, which isn't usually a problem. It's just a good idea to have a backup of your LaunchBox folder available, just in case, at all times. In my case, I use Dropbox which pretty much solves any potential risks. For what it's worth, I use all the betas for my own personal collection, and I've yet to have to restore anything, but I also have a backup ready at all times.
  17. Hey guys, this is still on my list. When we do implement it, though, we'll probably just come up with a simple look-up list to parse the proper game titles from the file names, and maybe a list of BIOS files to ignore. Not sure if that will help with weeding out the crap or not.
  18. Thanks @Guynamedbilly, new beta is out with custom keyboard mapping. Keep in mind that the default controls no longer support TankSticks out of the box, so they will need to be mapped. However, the mapping process should be straightforward. Let me know if anyone runs into any issues.
  19. Hmm, maybe I messed this up recently (I was in there removing the "v"). I'll take a look. :)
  20. Hi @Sat32, welcome. Currently, LaunchBox does not have an option to always name files by the ROM file name instead of the game's title. However, LaunchBox *will* recognize images that are named with the ROM file name (it just doesn't save them that way when scraping new images). So you should be able to drop the EmuMovies images into the correct LaunchBox folders and LaunchBox should find them.
  21. Hi @KMKeele, I use GZDOOM as well, but I set all my DOOM-based games up with their own copy of GZDOOM. Haven't tried using it like an emulator, but that does make sense. But since GZDOOM is fairly small, I guess you might as well just make it easy and give each different game its own copy.
  22. Ah, good find, Bil. Hopefully I can get this fixed for the 4.3 release.
  23. Hehehehe. New beta is out. I built my shiny new game cabinet over the weekend, so the focus for the last couple days has been on perfecting the game cabinet experience (in between games, of course). Added keyboard mapping options, volume adjustments with keyboard and controller mapping, an option to sort and star favorite games at the top of the games lists, fixed the sounds to only play if something actually happens (as opposed to as long as the key or button is held down), fixed audio stability issues, and fixed more remaining issues returning to Big Box after exiting out of games. Good find @scree on that mouse issue; I'll investigate. :)
  24. Hehehehehe. Maybe I should add little educational widgets to LaunchBox?
