  1. Gotcha, I actually do have a G29 in storage somewhere. If you would please, add a BitBucket ticket for this using Help & Support > Request a Feature in the header of the site.
  2. I did see the error messages, yes. They're just missing files messages, basically. The 11.5/11.6 releases should take care of that stuff without issues, which is why I'm puzzled. Let me know for certain if you're running NTFS. You may just need to delete your LaunchBox\Core folder and do a reinstall over top.
  3. @MrSco It would still really help to know if deleting your Settings.xml and BigBoxSettings.xml files makes any difference for you.
  4. @MrSco So I got crash, per se, but it wasn't in the way that I expected at all. Somehow the video/display just stopped updating, but I could hear Big Box still running in the background. It was stuck on a particular Big Box screen and I could hear my keypresses doing things, but the display wasn't updating. That's a weird issue that I've never seen before. I eventually killed the process and noted that the entire Windows interface was screwed up, so Windows just took a dump. I doubt that it's related to what you're seeing, unfortunately. I'm restarting the testing process over.
  5. @dietz33 I'm gonna load up a Windows 7 VM to see if I can replicate this. It's been a while since I've tested on Windows 7, in all honesty. I assume you're running a 64-bit version of Windows 7? Are you all up to date on Windows updates? I will say that Windows 7 support is coming to an end here soon if it's not gone already (I haven't kept up on the Microsoft news on that). It may be time to upgrade.
  6. I'm not following why Unified or Unified Redux wouldn't be working properly for you, but one thing that is important to note is that the file system on the external drive matters. It's best if you use NTFS instead of exFAT or FAT32. Does that help anything?
  7. Do you still have this issue or did you save changes and did it go away? The reason I ask is it would be nice to have your data files if you're still seeing it. That way we can easily track it down. If you're still seeing it, can you zip up and PM me your data folder?
  8. All very interesting. I would very much like to know if corrupted video files are really crashing Big Box, and if that's a common issue. I did find this after doing a quick Google search: Haven't tried it or anything, but it might help.
  9. @Just001Kim FYI, the translation update did make it into the 11.6 release.
  10. We've been troubleshooting this in another thread, here: @RedHoodRobin64, please see that thread and try the update to .NET Core 3.1.8. I'm going to close this thread so that we can keep discussion in one place.
  11. Really just to not force kill the process, or shut down the computer without exiting LaunchBox or Big Box. But that's the reason for the backups, just in case that this happens, as you can't always prevent things like this from occurring. We do also recommend regular backups of your LaunchBox folder and the rest of the important data on your computer, as hard drives always die eventually.
  12. Worst case scenario, you can delete the LaunchBox\Updates folder. Based on previous experiences in this thread, we don't think it really has to do with video drivers, though we're not certain.
  13. @frankiefurter After reviewing your data files, I can confirm that it is unfortunately an issue with corrupted data. Usually this happens when the LaunchBox process is killed or similar. Your LaunchBox\Data\Platforms\Arcade.xml file is unfortunately corrupted. I haven't checked every file, but I'm guessing that's the only one. You should have data backups in your LaunchBox\Backups folder. Your best bet is to try restoring one of those data backups.
  14. If you just want to stay on 11.2 for now, you can uncheck all the update boxes under Tools > Options > General > Updates in LaunchBox. Then you should be able to downgrade without any risk of the updates coming back. It is clear, based on @MuddyWaters79 findings, that the issue can be resolved, but we're not yet sure how (he had to basically format Windows and start over). I would recommend trying this, to see if it helps:
  15. Lol, I've been called worse things than Twitter. To be honest, this would be fine, but: The image is basically useless at this point The community cannot be trusted to judge whether a particular censoring is "good enough" or not. The line will just get pushed further and further over time. I'm sorry you guys are disappointed by this, but again, these have always been the rules.
  16. 11.6 was such a light update with such minimal changes compared to 11.5 that there must be something else involved. Please try rebooting to make sure that's not the issue. If necessary, I can help you troubleshoot the issue if you PM a zip file of your LaunchBox\Data folder. Sorry for the trouble.
  17. Big Box currently supports up to 16 game controller buttons. I wasn't even aware that more than 16 buttons was a thing. Unfortunately we might need that controller on hand in order to develop for it, so I'm not sure how likely that is. What controller(s) are you using?
  18. Banned for a day. Anyone studying law knows the risks of skirting around laws, and the last thing I want to do is hire a lawyer (maybe that's his motivation? idk). I'm not a lawyer. But I don't care either way.
  19. Are you kidding? You're interested in putting us at legal risk just because you're not in the US? I already stated I wasn't interested in arguing this. Drop it or we'll just straight up ban. I got better things to do, like develop features and help people who need support.
  20. The law has nothing to do with video games. It has to do with nudity/obscenity. https://www.justice.gov/criminal-ceos/citizens-guide-us-federal-law-obscenity I recognize that it can be interpreted in a billion different ways, but I have no interest in putting us in any risk at all. It's a video games site, so naturally that appeals to kids. I'm not interested in arguing this any further.
  21. Yeah, obviously something went wrong there. I'll look into it.
  22. How long has it stayed open after exiting?
  23. Wow, how the crap did we all miss *that*. I smell an 11.6 release. Thanks for the report.
  24. The .NET Core installations are stupid confusing. What users need instead is the "Windows Desktop Runtime" version. The hosting version is for web hosting.
  25. For those of you who are still having the graphical glitches, can you try upgrading to .NET Core 3.1.8? Here's a direct link: https://download.visualstudio.microsoft.com/download/pr/add2ffbe-a288-4d47-8b09-a39c8645f505/8516700dd5bd85fe07e8010e55d8f653/windowsdesktop-runtime-3.1.8-win-x64.exe
