  1. Well the art could have been there from before or yea, downloaded but the game didn't get imported. That is strange. I'll see if Jason has any input based on this.
  2. DOS is very much a wild west. You can load custom conf files per game and have that pointing towards a custom mapper file. However, unless the game can handle your controller for the most part DOS games are best on a keyboard and mouse I believe.
  3. SMB3 is a game that should get imported, it is super popular, has tons of Meta Data behind it so I wonder if LB is having issues... Have you imported games with "force importing duplicates" to see what happens? Also, this isn't a solution for all 130ish games that didn't get imported, but have you tried adding 1 game by its self? Take SMB3, in the bottom right there is an add button. Press it, input the games name in the top, select the platform it belongs to in the drop down (so Nintendo Entertainment System (NES)). The first browse box on the bottom hit browse and select the rom from that menu. Then back in the edit box hit the emulation tab, select the check box and choose the emulator you use from the drop down menu. It is a bit labored vs the rom importer but see if that works.
  4. Media doesn't get removed because if you're gonna add games back like you did, who wants to re-download all of that data? Tools -> Clean up Images at the bottom should remove excess or data not associated to any game anymore. Though it should probably get name changed to Clean Up Downloaded Material or something. How are you importing games, by Folder or by Files? Also are those games still in your library just not associated to a platform? Pick a game that didn't get imported and copy it's name, open up your LaunchBox XML in Notepad++. Ctrl + F and copy paste the name of the game in to it. Does Notepad++ show you any games with that name? It there is a game that exists with that exact name in your LaunchBox XML that means it exists somewhere in LB, or when you removed games for some reason it didn't remove the entry from the LB XML and so it won't import the game because it thinks it exists. Have you tried re-importing with the new Beta? There is some nicer error handling when it comes to this but if you are getting errors when searching for metadata, and LB asks you if you still want to add these games to your library, selecting yes should still add them regardless. This has happened to me before, the games just get added with no metadata.
  5. Video Scaling. https://i.imgur.com/jSZsToh.png We have scaling for when a video is bigger than the box, but what if a video is small? This video's resolution is tiny, 160 x 120. I'll probably replace it later since it will be easy to find probably, but scaling video's up in general would probably be a good idea. Obviously, keep aspect resolution and don't go bigger than the box allows.
  6. Thanks for showing us that, and yea we did. I don't pay too much attention to the bug tracker right now, I will more in the future as I will be upkeeping it regularly, and Jason is just really busy. So sorry if we miss stuff, but it is the prime reason why we say use the bug tracker and have users vote up the important stuff to them. xD
  7. Audio still playing is known, and it will be an option before or for the full release.
  8. I am unsure if this is known by Jason, but it is now. Can someone post a bitbucket of this in the Beta forums? This is why we do Beta's though :P
  9. No it is not, but it has been brought up a lot before and is in our BitBucket tracker. The more people that vote for it on the BitBucket page the faster it will get implemented. Click the Report Issue / Feedback button at the top of the page.
  10. The Logo isn't quite right because it has to be off, it requires special printing methods and that method requires a very specific type of file, regular PNG's wont do. As well, SpreadShirt is having some difficulties right now, so the Store might not load properly right now. Give it sometime and check back later if it wont load for you.
  11. That's because it's made by Keiji Inafune, MegaMan's creator.
  12. You can't. I'm sad this is an Xbox exclusive, I've known about it for a while and have been sad.
  13. I do think it has to do with all the extra stuff that RA can add on. 1 by it's self works well, but when you start adding and stacking effects the system might not know how to handle all of it.
  14. There are lots of settings for each emulator out there, and it is hard to know what to do. On our YouTube page I did tutorials for these two systems, except PS1 I used RetroArch. I do personally find it to be a better emulator but it is odd to setup. A lot of our tutorials go over RetroArch though so you can get a lot of help there. For PS2 I did set-up PCSX2. I am unsure if it will help your specific case, but it might give you some more information that you didn't know about previous and it might help. If it doesn't I'm more than happy to try and keep helping you.
  15. xD Well these are systems that are highly optimized, I don't know the last time the mednafen PS1 stuff has been worked on.
  16. The PS1 core runs fine for me usually. What overlay are you using? Are you using a filter too? Is your PC any decent? In combination with Filters and Overlays with certain resolutions your PC just might not run it well. Is this all games too or some games?
  17. Yea LaunchBox populates it with RA Cores, it's not incorrect, it's just a different one. Bsnes Balanced though has perfect emulation except one game reportedly so that is why I suggest it. Glad it's working.
  18. To make the games work in RetroArch you need -L "cores\bsnes_balanced_libretro.dll" in the associated platforms. -C is for if you have a custom config, if you don't have one don't use the command. The name of the console on the left of the command line needs to match the system name you've set to. So if it is Super Nintendo on the left bar in LaunchBox, the associated platform needs to be named this. Edit: Also the link to my channel has Tutorials on several systems, most dealing with RetroArch. They can also help a lot.
  19. There is an error notification system, but the problem is that this isn't a regular error or bug, so it doesn't report it. LaunchBox thinks it is supposed to do this, but it's obviously not.
  20. At the top "Report Issue / Feedback" leads to our BitBucket page. Here you can search for these features that users request, if it exists vote for it, if it doesn't exist you are more than welcome to create it yourself. This is the best way for Jason to track what features to implement first as he works on a democratic process.
  21. Sadly no one from RetroArch to my knowledge has contacted us, but we would be more than happy to talk with them and try to help integrate some things with LaunchBox. As you surmised though, this would be more of a RetroArch thing. There are things we can do on our end to help with multiple controllers, but what you are saying would most likely best be left to RA devs.
  22. You're totally right... Is it obvious I haven't been getting good sleep? xD
  23. Do you have the proper BIOS? coleco.rom if my quick research is to be believed. Also, BlueMSX apparently can load Colecovision games and there is a BlueMSX Core in RetroArch. This does need the coleco.rom file in your RetroArch system folder. I don't know how well this works though honestly.
  24. Well, they are both technically sidebars. :P
  25. shinra358 said Why sidebar instead of game details pane? *shrugs* That is where the video is located.
