  1. Well if you have a Lifetime license then the limit doesn't matter, however LaunchBox still asks you if you want to keep these games, and if you hit yes they stay in your library just with no metadata. Besides the limit these sites could have been having a high load of traffic, getting DDoS attacked or your connection in your area was under load due to a lot of people being on at once. There are a lot of reasons to be getting that error.
  2. Take out your EmuMovies login information in the Options, is this not the same thing?
  3. Well honestly, a majority of users don't want that many versions of a game, most users are going to take the USA or European version. As such, LaunchBox filters out anything between ( ) and [ ]. If I have a game where I need / want multiple versions, I'll manually specify. Disc, Disk and Side are something that do get lost because of this usually, however these are going to get parsed eventually. Another thing to keep in mind, metadata scraping needs to be accurate. Aladdin on SNES exists, Aladdin Japan on SNES doesn't, so if it tried to search the second option it would just result back no games.
  4. Oh I knew that, but VR and holograms aren't the same. :P Think Microsoft Hololense Porn... which also probably does exist.
  5. I just added another 4TB to my system too because I needed it. :P Not that I could probably afford that drive. Edit: And I also prefer Western Digital. I got tired of my Seagates failing on me.
  6. Well games made on Ace can only be played on Windows, however I just recently ported my game over to RPG Maker MV, which is Windows, Mac, Android, iOS, and HTML5 (Web, Kongregate). So yes, it is still going on, but I can only have a few days of working on it at a time. It is so severely grueling being one person to do all of the work. Granted, my credits list is long and I am using art other people made, and they put in a lot of work but that is maybe 5%, 10% of the TOTAL work needing done on the game. Even the demo that is currently up is slightly out dated. I haven't released the ported demo yet. I am working on a site too for my stuff to get posted to, when that happens the thread will be updated.
  7. It's no longer a Beta feature, that is outdated. However, when you import the roms are you labeling the system "Arcade"? My assumption that is when you are importing "Arcade" it knows to start processing MAME games. Jason, chime in if I'm wrong.
  8. The only two controllers I use are my PS4 controller and my USB N64 controller. The best option I think is PS3 / PS4 because of the D-Pad. 360 controllers D-Pad's suck. I would also suggest Xbox One controllers but they're having issues for some dumb reason.
  9. It could be streaming a lot of audio and video. 1 audio stream and 2 video? The USB 2.0 might be just data. I assume it's not taking power from those USB ports either.
  10. Yes, that is what -L and -C in associated platforms is.
  11. GatoSoft said Oops... I think I misunderstood about all the YouTube thing. Anyway, I was only suggesting but I've expressed myself terribly. Sorry... ^_^U No worries. No feature is ever promised because something can always break, but the more interest by the users the harder Jason will try to get it in. :P
  12. Well even if we could figure out who it was, that would totally be unethical :P
  13. Community's with less traffic get hit way worse by bots, Jason and I are surprised it took this long. We'll deal with it though.
  14. Save States are something you can do anywhere anytime. F1 and F3, save and load.
  15. Yea, you're running out of RAM for some reason. How much does your PC have? Did you increase the amount of RAM that LaunchBox uses?
  16. I haven't had any problems upgrading and I am on 1.3.0.
  17. Yea played around with it last night, still super difficult to deal with. The tutorial goes up on Friday, and I still suggest Yabause. That one is also in development.
  18. That is for loading custom configs, but it's not required. I do go over that this Friday. I can't really give you guys links on the forums, but "RetroArch BIOS" is a thing... ;) That might help solve the problem because the BIOS also do need to be the correct version or not corrupt. Otherwise if if you have the core downloaded, it is set under Associated Cores, The name in Associated Cores is also the same in the first column as it is on the left pane, all of your Dreamcast games have RA selected as the emulator (select DC on the left, ctrl + a to highlight all your games then edit a game), then it should all be set. The only other thing might be that BIOS are off, but even still it could all just boil down to its broken.
  19. flylear45 said Same here. The latest Tutorial finally got me over the hump with where to place bios, etc. THANK YOU!!!!!!! You're welcome.
  20. https://i.imgur.com/mSIpA0U.png That is the line, apparently inputting it in on the forums trips some sort of command... wtf. xD
  21. No .dll's are a thing. They're Dynamic Link Libraries in Windows. -L denotes loading a core then "cores\" is obviously the folder, then reicast_libretro.dll is the name of the core. -L "cores eicast_libretro.dll". I did get Bangai-O to launch, and if you have everything correct it'd be setup like mine. I was going to do a tutorial on this this Friday instead of Sega Saturn, but there is a reason I didn't do it. This is more difficult to deal with than Saturn, and Saturn was a pain in my ass. They're both severely under developed. Reicast has active development though, so in time these issues can be figured out. I hit ok after it asks for the time, and either some load the game or some go to the menu. After re-reading up, it looks like the forums don't like cores\ reicast_libretro all in one line.
  22. If you have a 360 / PS3 / PS4 controller plugged in (the PS3 and PS4 would essentially be "emulated" 360 pads with the software), it should find it automatically and it is a bit more intuitive. I have more tutorials up dealing with RA on the channel, and one for Sega Saturn is going up this Friday. Even if the cores / systems aren't your cup of tea, they all have stuff in them that can be useful in other systems. For example PS1 and Saturn are super similar.
