  1. Yea played around with it last night, still super difficult to deal with. The tutorial goes up on Friday, and I still suggest Yabause. That one is also in development.
  2. That is for loading custom configs, but it's not required. I do go over that this Friday. I can't really give you guys links on the forums, but "RetroArch BIOS" is a thing... ;) That might help solve the problem because the BIOS also do need to be the correct version or not corrupt. Otherwise if if you have the core downloaded, it is set under Associated Cores, The name in Associated Cores is also the same in the first column as it is on the left pane, all of your Dreamcast games have RA selected as the emulator (select DC on the left, ctrl + a to highlight all your games then edit a game), then it should all be set. The only other thing might be that BIOS are off, but even still it could all just boil down to its broken.
  3. flylear45 said Same here. The latest Tutorial finally got me over the hump with where to place bios, etc. THANK YOU!!!!!!! You're welcome.
  4. https://i.imgur.com/mSIpA0U.png That is the line, apparently inputting it in on the forums trips some sort of command... wtf. xD
  5. No .dll's are a thing. They're Dynamic Link Libraries in Windows. -L denotes loading a core then "cores\" is obviously the folder, then reicast_libretro.dll is the name of the core. -L "cores eicast_libretro.dll". I did get Bangai-O to launch, and if you have everything correct it'd be setup like mine. I was going to do a tutorial on this this Friday instead of Sega Saturn, but there is a reason I didn't do it. This is more difficult to deal with than Saturn, and Saturn was a pain in my ass. They're both severely under developed. Reicast has active development though, so in time these issues can be figured out. I hit ok after it asks for the time, and either some load the game or some go to the menu. After re-reading up, it looks like the forums don't like cores\ reicast_libretro all in one line.
  6. If you have a 360 / PS3 / PS4 controller plugged in (the PS3 and PS4 would essentially be "emulated" 360 pads with the software), it should find it automatically and it is a bit more intuitive. I have more tutorials up dealing with RA on the channel, and one for Sega Saturn is going up this Friday. Even if the cores / systems aren't your cup of tea, they all have stuff in them that can be useful in other systems. For example PS1 and Saturn are super similar.
  7. Well I didn't have a legit W8 (neither did my Wife) and they gave us both 10, so it's not really based on anything...
  8. So the full command line is -L "cores eicast_libretro.dll" for anyone curious. Make sure in the side bar it does say Sega Dreamcast and the associated platform is Sega Dreamcast (yes they need to match). You do need Dreamcast BIOS in your system folder. In the system folder create another folder labeled DC, in there goes it's BIOS files. There are 2 of them and they are common. Even then, don't expect it to work great, compatibility is very low.
  9. GatoSoft said Wow! We'll have videos in the sidebar! YAY! :D It's a feature I've been waiting for a long time. ^_^ I hope you soon can add YouTube support, so I could free up lots of gigabytes in videos and add even more videos to my games. :D Well that was a hypothetical. There is no promise that we can get it in, let alone it working.
  10. You are more than welcome to add that to the Bitbucket by clicking the feedback tab at the top Kmoney! That does sound like an awesome feature. Kodi has something similar to this. Glad you're enjoying Premium.
  11. Have you updated to the latest version of LB?
  12. Select a system on the left, Ctrl + A, Tools -> Download Metadata and Images. That's not working?
  13. You currently have to set that up manually. There really is no easy way to get that done automatically.
  14. Jason Carr said But there *are* download limits for free members. It's relatively high since free members can't download videos; I think it's around 1 GB per day. I downloaded 100 manuals in one update before and it's never triggered for me.
  15. Should be, but you'll really need to check with them or read their FAQ's if they've got em. I honestly do not know. To them we're considered a FrontEnd.
  16. No GB per hour or day limit. Just can't have certain resources if you don't pay for it.
  17. I used Belarc to get my W10 key after the upgrade. They say it doesn't matter anymore, but the second I need it I can't recover it. :P
  18. For PS2, it shouldn't matter too much what file you use, the .cue sheets aren't required by the Emulator, some games may require a cue sheet but that is different. So if it is an iso, bin or mdf it's fine. When it comes to memory cards, most people use Save States, so I did kind of gloss over it. On the real system, Memory Cards can need formatting. On the emulator in order to format it load up a game and try and make a save. It should ask you to format the card. I really only brought it up for legacy, but if you look at one of the check marks in the memory card menu, "Auto-eject memory cards when loading save states" makes using memory cards less of a good idea. So if you are using save states, using memory card might also be a bad idea.
  19. Sorry, I should have pointed it out but right below the Application Path is Application command-line parameters. Also, you can't load a mapper file directly but you can load a custom conf file. The mapper to be used can be specified in the config file, right? I don't quite remember but I do vaguely remember seeing that option in there. If so, load a custom conf file pointing to the custom mapper file. It's dumb but if its there it should work.
  20. Advanced System Care has a lot of these types of programs in there, just their own versions. I use some alternatives too, I use ComicRack for cbr comics, Calibre for epubs, AngelVox for AudioBooks and Métamorphose for file renaming. http://file-folder-ren.sourceforge.net/ http://comicrack.cyolito.com/ http://calibre-ebook.com/ http://download.cnet.com/Angel-s-Vox/3000-2139_4-75001584.html
  21. No, generating XML files yourself may not even work as intended or break some things. It is easy to do simple things like change the path to roms or to change the name of a system like "PS1" to " Sony Playstation", but generating it completely outside of LB might not work as well as people might think.
  22. Where is it that it is trying to write the file? If it is in your documents folder or on your C drive it may not like that you are trying to write there for some reason. On the first tab labeled "General" at the bottom left is a Save Bindings button. Click that and try to save it in a different location, but preferably your ini location.
  23. So it is worth noting that it will be named Arcade and not MAME, so if you are trying to import under MAME being the name, it could give you some issues. You're also getting this screen when importing right?: https://i.imgur.com/BhutsHI.png If not, then it is not triggering for Arcade Import. If you are do keep in mind that 1 game might have 2 or 20 files associated with it and you don't need all of them. You'd just need the one for the region you want to play or the latest revision. However, if you want them all (or most) to import select "Import All Clones". I don't know what this will do or how many duplicates you might have though... so... The importer doesn't make it quite clear, but my assumption would be if you prefer N. America games it will use that version for all games that support it, but what if you don't have a game that even has a N. American version? I assume it will take the latest revision to any game if it doesn't have a NA file. Jason will have to clarify that.
  24. Oh, I am very sorry. I misread the problem, I had just woken up. What system are you trying to get to show up? What emulator?
