So basically if it shows a drive letter than its using a full path and if it doesn't its using a relative path.

It doesn't have to be you would just replace that with your path

Is your current install using relative paths as in \..\Games and not C:\LaunchBox\Games if its using the relative path and everything was on the same drive it should be portable without editiing

Okay 1st you have to download NotePad++ and install it. Then Close LB go to your LB folder and go to Data\Platforms and open all your XML files. Then in NP++ go to search in the menu bar and go to find. This will open a new form in the find text box type in your path C:\Your\Path\Here once you do that then go to count and make sure it is finding your path. If it is then click the replace tab and type in your new path then hit change in all open documents and it should overwrite the paths in all of your xml files go up to file on the menu bar and select save all. Finally close NP++ and reopen LB hopefully it is all fixed. Before you do any of this make sure that you save a copy of your Data folder for a just in case scenario.

Its very easy to edit with NotePad++. If you need help there are quite a few of us who can explain it in detail to you.

I'm so sorry I gave you wrong advise its Dreamcast that only uses the one checkbox and the arcade stuff is both sorry about that. The only era I see is atomiswave should be awave but that is it those settings should work.

I'm talking about changing the drive letters back to the original ones in Windows and not LB so if its relative it won't matter which drive its on anyway but if his drive letter changed after restoring from his failure and assigned different drives and he isn't using relative paths then changing them to the old letters in Disk Management is the fast fix.

Hey you need to uncheck that nulldc checkbox for the arcade system that will however break Dreamcast emulation I usually point LB to Demul twice once named Demul and once named Demul [Arcade] then I have the DC on set up with both checkboxes checked and on with just the use file name checkbox checked.

I only did upgrades myself but the performance seems the same with no real improvements but no new performance hits either. I have a few machines in the Insider Preview fast ring and before upgrading my other computers and the experience was pretty much the same if you are already on the Anniversary edition it will be very small changes. I only clean install if I run into issues and sfc scan and dism won't fix them.

I've had nothing but success with the CU on multiple machines with LB/BB can't speak on the RL side of things since I don't use it.

Well there is only one dev who works constantly on his progject so you will have to wait for someone else to assist you @SentaiBrad probably knows if scripts will work from there if you don't have premium.

I know you are discussing ahk I'm unsure if they work from your LB if you don't have a license. I could be wrong but it could explain why the script works stand alone but not from within LB

Also for information sake Manuals is a folder in the root of your LB folder inside is subfolders of each platform that contain the game specific manuals.

If your drive letter where changed by your PC all you have to do is go into disk management and assign the proper letters to them.

Added your Steam games and after the process change the name of the platform to Steam then import your other PC games and leave them as Windows or change the name to whatever it is that you want.

Well if I read what Brad wrote correctly he is saying your AHK script doesn't work through LB because you don't have access to the feature because you don't have a premium license.

If the text is dark which does suck just highlight it all like you are going to copy it and its easier to read.

I never change my bios Demul chooses it for me and it always works

Yeah I updated 14 PC's over the last 2 days and the only issue I ran into was I had to reinstall the chipset on one of my tablets so far its been working like a dream on everything I was testing it on the arcade machine and a few HTPC's and it seems great so far.

Its not really the fast track update right now this is the same one that everyone is going to see on Tuesday when it is pushed out by MS. You don't even have to be in the insider program to install it its available to anyone with Windows 10

I just tested it running Blue Stinger and while I didn't watch past the intro video it looked good and ran smoothly with no stutters. I'll have to check it more to see how the compatibility is with other games

I know this isn't really all that helpful but over the last two days I've updated 14 computers (in ever size and form you can think of) to Creators Update and I've tested LB/BB on at least 8 of them so far without any issues so it is machine specific in your case. Have you tried installing LB to another folder and seeing if it works okay from a fresh install
