I personally don't own one but I know they do work but that there can be a few issues that have to be wrinkled out by the user to get it all working correctly. There are some posts here about it and I remember a few users getting assistance with it over on the Discord server

When you load the MAME core in RA then it tells you the version of MAME its based on in the bottom left. If you mean the version number of RA itself it will be in the bottom left when you load RA with no core and no game

Wait you have controllers connected by HDMI or should that be USB for all of those? -
Yeah that is true there are options built in to the standalone MAME UI. I have some setups where I have to set monitor indexes to get my vertical and horizontal games to their respective monitors so that requires getting into the .ini and making some changes also setting the BGFX shaders and a few others I've never seen any graphical settings for.

I like stand alone MAME personally but if you don't understand the mame.ini file to change settings a UI is probably better to start with

If you have the 0.184 set and you are trying to get the 0.185 update set and combine them then yes you need to use CLRMAMEPro. If you have the 0.184 set and you just want to use them then you don't have to do anything else with them they are good to go.

Yet Another Broken Ass Unusable Saturn Emulator Yeah I personally find Yabause to be terrible but if it works for you then go for it just know it doesn't have anywhere near the game compatibility that the Mednafen core does.

Yeah I guess if could be something else but based off the error message I don't know what else to suggest.

If it was a bad disc it would load the bios though and just say there was no disc in system and I know for a fact you have good bios files

I'm not sure it will install the VC stuff that LB/BB needs but I don't know if it installs every VS library under the sun

If it isn't your bios files I would think maybe you need some Visual Studio libraries

go to manage platform pick your platform and edit then fill out the category line I think there is a drop down but you can add anything

I have an i5 3330S and a GTX 950 and I've noticed a performance improvement when running Dolphin with Vulkan particularly in the performance of the Metroid games which used to struggle on this computer and now plays smoothly.

In the settings there is a category named drivers in there you can change the input drive type maybe playing with that will get different results. I'm just spitballing here fellas just an idea on something to fiddle with and see if it changes anything. -

Anyone try editing the input driver from dinput to sdl2 in RA and see if you can get it to work that way. -
If you have the MAME set but don't have the CHD files then you won't have the CHD files even if you use the .bat file it can't pull files you don't have in the set out of the set. I'm assuming you are using Brad's .bat files and not mine since his are updated and mine didn't pull the CHD files.

Getting the update pack isn't just copying the pack in with your ROMs and you will need to use CLRMAMEPro or some similar tool in order to update correctly.

if you open Demul and see the Naomi games list only the games with Naomi-GD or Naomi 2-GD require CHD files

None! I only use the MAME ROMs in Demul no experience with that

MAME 185 is out on Wednesday so if you are going to get the latest set you might as well wait.
