Switch your controller plug-in to the Lillypad plug-in from PCSX2 and there is a check box to disable the confirmation.

If you empty your drive can you then load a disc into the drive?

Do you see the line in the associated platform that says Sega Genesis in LaunchBox are you using Sega MegaDrive as the platform or Genesis? If your platform is called megadrive that is why it isn't working. You can either change that to be the same as your platform name or you can create a completely new line if you plan on using Genesis as a platform also.

Sound and image packs sound like a great idea.

Supermodel is pretty damn good performance as usual has to do with machine specs but anything half decent should cover it. I can run it on a 3rd gen i3 with Intel graphics and there isn't any stutter. I would suggest getting supermodel ui with it if you go that route for configuration purposes but then use Supermodel.exe in LB/BB

Excellent rant! Emulation equals the historical preservation of these games and the so called pirates are mostly the only people interested in seeing it preserved so I have absolutely no qualms about the morality of emulation what so ever!

That's weird, I don't recall having any issues with these in SSF. I'll double check tonight. They always run super slow and choppy for me unplayable on all of my machines and I have a few that can handle just about anything you throw at them. Is there any particular reason not to just play the PSX version? No I just like to have everything working everywhere when I can. I most likely will never end up playing either version.

You will have to do it one platform at a time. You just go into the platform and hit ctrl+a to select all games then go to tools and download metadata and images. Repeat for every system.

No it was running games SSF can't handle but then the RA core still won't play those so they are ahead of the core it seems I had it running Corpse Killer and Double Switch both of which run like dog shit in SSF. It plays Croc which for SSF you need like a beta 10 or 11 version in order to not get the black screen with sound. It handles AMOK which SSF won't (This one works in RA) play. I was trying to remember games I had issues to see if they worked. Hopefully the stand alone will make more moves and then the core will get updated to reflect that and we could end up with a nice emulator or we can hope Mednafen works its magic.

SSF has test builds on EmuCR I just can't get Daemon tools to work on the latest preview build of Windows

Ha I would like to figure it out I read something old that said they had decided to remove the command-line parameters from the emulator which is just killing me.

Can you get it to work through LB?

I've been on EmuCr for a little while today checking out somethings and I've noticed that Yabause has been getting a lot of builds this month I downloaded the latest and so far it only hasn't run Die Hard Trilogy which won't run in SSF either. I'm hoping this progress has something to do with the new instructions that were unlocked by Dr. Abrasive.
