If your platform has a specific platform video it will play that if it doesn't I believe it will play random videos instead.

I use EZTV and ETTV but have been using KAT almost exclusively since the others haven't gotten down with the x265 scene yet for TV. KAT was my go to for my weekly comic books so now I have to find an alternative for that though.

Here is a story from TorrentFreak breaking down how the owner of KAT was found and arrested. Its kinda of scary how they finally took dude down with the help of FaceBook and Apple. It goes to show that if you are running an illegal website that maybe a Facebook page is a bad thing to have and to also have your iTunes account (or any account for that matter) be registered under the same user name/criminal alias that you used to post on KAT as the owner may also be a little sloppy. Anyway KAT is gone for now but hopefully it will be back as it was the best source for x265 TV shows

There shouldn't be an issue Genesis should work fine have you tried changing the core to the picodrive core in LaunchBox and seeing if it will work with Picodrive instead? The games with the multiple regions I'm assuming they aren't in archives.

Are you by chance using a archive that has multiple ROM files like a good set or one that contains all regions I've seen this cause issues before because RA will let you drill into the archive and pick the ROM you want while from LB it will just fail.

Do you have the genesis gx plus core in RetroArch or do you only have the picodrive core LaunchBox is telling RetroArch to load this core by default -L "cores\genesis_gx_plus_libretro.dl" if you want to use the picodrive core you have to change it to read -L "cores\picodrive_libretro.dll"

LaunchBox is by default configured to use the genesis_gx_plus core for both MegaDrive and Master System. You need to go into tools manage emulators and then select retroarch and edit go to the associated platforms tab and change either the to the picodrive core or in RA download the genesis core.

Maybe an option to reset LB settings to default would be a good addition to prevent people from almost losing it and uninstalling all of their work.

Try making a new LB install in a different folder and then copy your old xml to it and see if that changes anything before you just scrap it and start over. Also there are methods of preserving all of your metadata and images when starting back over. You may have to add all the games again sure but it won't need to download any of the media again as it will already be there saving you a ton of wait time during setup.

No I was playing a game in Dolphin yesterday and I had to use my keyboard to exit out so seems like an issue.

I noticed this last night had to close LB to keep playing my game.

Unless they made changes you also need to switch your input plugin to a Lilypad one from PCSX2 in order to see that check box.

I do if you aren't running low end hardware and you have storage space get the newest ROM set and the latest version of MAME.

I believe you can change the name of the rom from eboot to the game title and it will still work.

I have access to a record player but I doubt I would ever buy physical music media again. As a side note mad respect to vinyl heads because them bitches refuse to let the medium die unlike many other forms of media vinyl still has a following more than 100 years later after it was 1st released.

Yeah in English it is usually used as a switch and in LaunchBox that is exactly how it is being used.

Its only a bartop to many controls would be cluttered IMO.

There are a ton of clones, mahjong machines, poker machines, games that don't work all kinds of stuff is in there. I would suggest looking for any of your favorite arcade games and if they are missing then I would worry about it. Around 3k is what my MAME is

I'm guessing that most of that at the end is for the OP as I'm already doing that. I just don't use any per core shader configs personally. The other stuff about the glsl glsp being that the p files have built in parameter was very informative though thanks.

Yeah that was the only issue and it was easy to fix but if you don't have experience with getting drivers on your own it could be problematic. I'm definitely not saying that you shouldn't use it just know it is changing your computer and if it detects something incorrectly you could have issues. I thinking from reading more that I could have somehow rolled back specific drivers but I didn't look so much as just start panicking because my PC wasn't working correctly. I have a lot of the manufacturer drivers for my models on my server already so I grabbed the touch drivers I needed. I would suggest looking at your drivers and if you are using something like a touch device and it wants to change your touch drivers that are working perfectly fine don't let it.
