  1. Okay lets make sure I'm getting you in the shader folder there are two sharder folders one is glsl the other is the CG inside of both of these folders there are many folders like crt, 3dfx, retro... inside of these folders are individual shaders now these aren't the ones that you are are talking about needing the relative path are they they are the same ones I copy to the parent folder and they work fine for me when cycling through.
  2. That is what they were originally for but they also work with PS1 emulators or at least with the mednafen psx core.
  3. All I know is that is where they must be to be able to cycle through them in my experience. If you know how to do so another way that's great too Edit LordMonkus is right though you don't have to save them you can actually just go into the folders and copy them to your main shader folder and then you can quickly cycle through
  4. To save the shaders as presets go to Shader Preset save as in the menu and click x then it will have you type in a name to save it as I always use the shader name myself then when you go into your shaders your presets will exist outside of the folders and that is when they can be toggled through.
  5. crashing on both my 950 and 960 haven't tested on my 750ti's yet but I'm guessing it will be the same results.
  6. Yeah I usually use the Asus site since almost all my computers and MOBO's are their brand. Its actually not to bad compared to some other driver sites. I was looking for a quick all in one solution but I don't think that I'm going to be installing this on any of my other PC's.
  7. I installed IOBit Driver Booster on my desktop the other day and it seemed to fix a lot of old drivers which was good so I installed it on a few more PC's one was my Asus EP121 tablet which is an older Windows 7 (originally) tablet. Driver Booster totally replaced the tablets touch drivers with a USB touch interface which is like using your finger as a mouse and nothing like using a touch screen. I have a 8 inch portable monitor that features the usb touch and frankly it isn't worth using as a touch screen in my opinion it is terrible and nothing like how touch should be. Anyway I reinstalled the touch drivers for my tablet and that fixed everything up but users should beware that programs like this can have negative effects on your system my IOBit even told me it was creating a system restore point but when I went to use it this morning I couldn't find where it had created it at to utilize it. So unless you know how to fix driver issues on your own I would suggest being cautious when using this program.
  8. I try a whole bunch and then pick the ones I think I like the best at the moment and save them as presets then I can access them and play around and see how things look with different ones.
  9. In RA go to settings and go to input scroll down until you come to Input Hotkey Binds here by mapping a hotkey you can map many different options that make your controller a powerful way to interface with RetroArch. This is by far one of the best features of RA and it is what puts it so far above many of the stand alones that exist.
  10. If you use the hotkey binding you can see the changes on the fly you just have to save the shaders you like and then set the controller to toggle through your shaders. I use left thumnb key for the hotkey button and then I use d-pad left and right to shuffle through.
  11. Maybe you could hold a logo contest. I think the logo could use a little freshening up I hope that doesn't offend anyone who designed it but maybe someone here with design talent could come up with something absolutely stunning using things like gradients and outline coloring to improve over the solid single color text. Make a disclaimer that you hold final decision on whether you want to change the logo or not as the contest may not result in anything you like.
  12. You have to find the proper rom name and then edit the rom that LB is using to use the other. So say you have TMNT4P (fictional rom name) as the rom LB is using and in the rom folder you have TMNT2P you can just browse to the folder from the edit form and choose the rom you want and it will switch it.
  13. I tried to stay with Fusion for as long as I could but the fact that it isn't updated anymore forced me over to the RA cores.
  14. For a 4 player build it would be awesome to use the LB colors for each player I don't think it would work as good for a two player setup
  15. Don't worry Brad if this was a crime that have to lock most of us up.
  16. In all the time I've known you I never would have guessed that!
  17. Yes there are plenty of scenarios where users will want to keep their media for when they add the platform again. Clear prompts should be fine though to prevent any unwanted deletions.
  18. This is also a good way to setup Demul to run Dreamcast and Arcade boards since it needs different checkboxs for each and also how I set up Desemeu (or how ever they spell it) to run some games horizontal and some games vertical.
