  1. I'd love to see progress on those 2 N64 and Atari Jaguar for sure I'd also like to see someone get Jaguar CD emulation up. I figure the longer that it takes the less likely it is to happen at all with systems like those.
  2. Just replaced WinKawaks with FB Alpha cores and boy am I so glad to see that emulator go. RA is amazing!
  3. Well I can load the core now and launch any of the games where I have change their name to match the hash files but if I have a .bin file then RA doesn't see it in the folder and if I zip it up without changing the name then it doesn't work. EDIT I just read through the thread again and I see that you are using RL which isn't going to happen for me. Thanks for sending me that file though and trying to help out.
  4. Yeah that's just the way it is. I've seen numerous posts about this but I don't think it is a high priority so its just something you have to learn to live with.
  5. I have over 144 games. I know Night Trap, Scotty Pippen Slam City, Supreme Warrior, Dracula Unleashed and a some others have multiple disks. I tried that custom command option but then you are just feeding to opposing commands because it is getting the custom for one core and another for the other core so no game launches. I know that it does work for custom configs I use it to run vertical Lynx and Wonder Swan games in wide screen on one PC and to launch the vertical games on my vertical monitor on another. The two versions of the emulator is the best solution I can come up with.
  6. That option doesn't exist in the Gens core which I am using for Sega CD so that may have to get changed to Picodrive also. That is one of the only downsides of RA that I have found you can't use two different cores in the same platform at the same time. I could always make a 2nd copy of RA though and add it to LB as Retroarch1 add only the specific core that I need and use it only for CD games with 2 disks.
  7. It works! Thanks @LordMonkus now I can maybe get into a mulitdisc game knowing that I will be able to keep playing past the part where you have to switch disks.
  8. Yeah I'm actually just testing at the moment I don't even have a controller hooked up to the PC more getting everything working than trying to play some games.
  9. Nice I'll have to check that out. So what do I have to do run the game and then hit F1 and go to core options from in there? I'm still pretty new to RA but I'm growing to like it a lot.
  10. I have an SD card with the basic building blocks of a LaunchBox install that contains all the 8 and 16 bit roms, N64 and the Sega Model emulators. I copied it today on to my AIO touchscreen desktop and after the transfer completed I tested it to make sure every platform was working then when I got to the Sega CD section I wondered if the GensGSPlus core would launch Sega CD 32X games and I doubted that it could since it doesn't emulate 32X. It doesn't! So I thought does PicoDrive work with these games but when I realized they were in my Sega CD platform using the GGSP core that I would have to completely change my core in order to play them so instead I started a new platform and moved the 5 games over to it. I can get almost all of the games to work except Fahrenheit it asks you to press start and insert disc 2 which brings me here. Is there a way to switch disks from the Picodrive core in RetroArch? I saw on the internet about using m3u files for multidisc PS1 games and I followed the instructions but Picodrive crashes when you try to load an m3u from LB and won't see the file from inside of RA. So is there another means to do this. Fahrenheit gives me the same issue in Kega also and on Gens Plus seems to be capable of running the game. I'll probably never play it but I'm a glutton for punishment so I want to try to get it working.
  11. Not the first time I've seen this request but I'm not sure if it has a BitBucket ticket though. If you want to start one just click on the Feature Request lint at the top of the page and it will take you where you need to go to start it. Then when your done come back here and post a link and let everyone know you started a ticket this way and one that likes the idea can go and vote for it. Also I've noticed that when people start tickets for feature request some have no votes which means that the people starting the tickets aren't even voting for their own ticket if I start one there is always at least 1 vote because I vote for myself (not that anyone else ever votes for the tickets that I start).
  12. You could shoot me an email with the core zipped up I'll send you a PM and give you the address.
  13. Yeah I already mentioned that I've had nothing but success bulk editing platform names and the example I gave of using Manage Emulators did state that it was a solution for before importing the games. That was what the OP asked for in his 2nd post.
  14. I just do it through the emulator because it will add both the platform and have the emulator pre-associated when you do the import. One thing I left out though is that you have to check the checkbox at the end of the line when you are adding the platform or it won't be automatically associated.
  15. I couldn't get it to work with MAME either but I did have it closing both the Stella and Pro System cores in RetroArch.
  16. If you want to do it before you import then go to tools in the menu, then go to manage emulator, go to your SNES emulator select it and click edit. When the Emulator form opens click on the Associated Platform tab and then under where it has the Nintendo Super Nintendo in the next line Enter Nintendo Super Famicom or what ever you want to name. Then when you run the importer you will find it in your drop down list of platforms and it will automatically associate it with your emulator.
  17. I don't know what to tell you every time i've bulk edit a platform I've had 100% success rate so if it isn't working for you I would have no clue as to why. If you selected all the games you wanted then right clicked and chose Edit (or just hit Ctrl+E), then selected Platform entered Super Famicom in the value field, confirmed and then completed the rest of the wizard it should make a new platform named Super Famicom LB won't show your games moved until you click another platform or the new platform that should be available on the left.
  18. I just tested it everything is working fine for me. Edit: Actually further testing has resulted in BigBox crashing three times the third time I didn't even try to open a game yet it just crashed. I have issues with LaunchBox crashing when I have the AHK turned on so I just don't use it. Funny even after turning off the AHK Big Box crashed exiting a Atari 5200 game.
  19. Just to be sure did you setup the autohotkey in BigBox and not LaunchBox.
  20. So actually when I searched I only got different platform results so what I said still applies.
  21. Sorry guys I didn't know about the main pages I've never searched an individual game on the DB I usually just go there to moderate and haven't really looked around to much.
  22. Yeah I never use the tuner and if it would get me the TV for a better price I say why not leave it out but if I won't see any savings than I really don't care they can keep it in.
  23. One thing I'm confused with this discussion is if the MS-DOS version came out in 1990 why would the Atari ST version even be mentioned in the DOS section wouldn't the game have its own entry under the Atari ST platform and then the 1991 would be used as the release date for that version. I could see for using the earliest date though for games that are re-released on the platform
  24. I suggest watching this it got me up and running
