You must have the BIOS somewhere I don't think any DC emulators work without having multiple bios files.

Folder has saved me before too but I try to keep my own copy also.

This is also a good way to use multiple cores for the same platform for example if you wanted some games to run on the Handy core but others to run on the Mednafen Lynx core or some on the pce fast core and others on the supergrafx core you would need this method to allow that to happen.

I'm a member too and I've never had any issues with Amazon in my many dealings with them but there is just something not right about trying to force you into buying their subscription to get access to products. For now you can just go to manage emulators add retroarch a second time with a different name set it to the same exe but check that box and add the cores that you need to unzip and then change those systems to use the new emulator.

Can you check and see if you have the extract ROM archives before running checkbox checked if so that is what is causing your problems.

If that is the case go to manage emulators add a new emulator named Retroarch1 (or what ever you prefer) and point it to your same RA.exe you are already using but check the extract ROM before running. In another post one of the users was having the same issue with the Neo Geo core of RA not working in LB I wonder if the box is checked to unpack the file and that why it won't work for him.

If images or ROM information doesn't exist on LBDB, Wikipedia or EmuMovies then there isn't much you can do except help in adding missing images to the Database once it is excepting new submissions.

Demul plays most of my cdi games with no issues.

I just started playing with the controller settings and I'm not seeing my controller close LB regardless of what emulator I'm using but this is only with a single controller so maybe that has something to do with it.

@DOS76, are you having to manually close LaunchBox for updates? I guess I'm confused because the updater should automatically close LaunchBox/Big Box before running the setup. Are you running the setup manually or using the automatic process? I saw this issue on multiple machines for 10.3 but so far 10.4 has installed without any issue. The installer was giving an error message that LB was still running I don't know why it didn't close it on its own. I've sporadically had this issue in the past also but it seemed very randomly. The last version was the 1st time I think that I ever saw it occur on multiple machines at the same time.

If your folders have multiple files like a .bin and a .cue if you don't do the search like brad described you will get doubles for every game

You can put in any emulator as a place holder and then later edit the games and remove the emulator altogether. I've never really thought about it but maybe an optional checkbox to add emulators later would help solve problems for games that don't need emulators but don't fit into the other import categories either.

No I believe that it does the reverse also.

If you have specific settings for Horizontal or Vertical it will ignore some other settings that you set but I've never noticed it for controller settings that being said I constantly find that MAME needs me to reset the Start and Coin button also.

you have to have both No space before rom and Use file name only without file extension or folder path checkboxes checked in the General tab and then these commands for the commandline parameters -run=naomi -rom= -run=awave -rom= -run=hikaru -rom= -run=gaelco -rom= -run=cave3rd -rom= *Threw in all the arcade systems it can emulate in case you need them later (As a note Hikaru and Gaelco need to be manually put into full screen despite your settings (I've never used the Cave emulation so don't know if it works or how it works)).

You have a secondary computer you could test it on see if you get the same results?

Yesterday I had an issue with no space in between the L and the quotes (-L"cores\) this was keeping it from working right so just make sure the space is there other than that I don't know what the issue would be if it works outside of LB it should work inside of LB if it is configured correctly.
