I just bought this one for $15 on Amazon hopefully it will work as a Nintendo Pad also. Thanks Multiplex I never would have even thought about getting one of these. I'm thinking of using it with a PC that I connect to my projector with a 12 ' outdoor blowup screen and having a little party in my nephews yard (can't use it at home my 4$$#0!3 neighbor always calls the cops on us and she is "connected" around town so it never goes well for us (so much for freedom)).

For smaller arcade emulators that use rom names I manually change the name before finishing the import into LaunchBox I haven't tackled MAME due to the expansive amount editing it would require. If there is a better way to do it I would like to know too.

I was messing around with the additional app setting I had it mounting the disk but not un-mounting them Daemon Tools offered me the latest version after upgrading it no longer works it seems they have changed the interface it no longer lists a drive number it just allows quick mounts. Whatever is new breaks the previous stuff so I advise anyone from upgrading that is relying on it to run your Saturn stuff. You can quick mount the iso's and then run SSF and this works but it doesn't do anything for LaunchBox. EDIT: I grabbed the older version from TPB and reinstalled it then using the additional apps method I got it working I'm using an unmount cd-rom app after the app closes using -unmount_all and it is working great.

Using LaunchBox with Plex and SlingPlayer show the potential for making LaunchBox BigBox a shell for a media PC or arcade machine. Sorry for the low quality video I had to do something to get it to fit I used a program called SnagIt to do the capture. I originally tried the Game Recorder built into Windows 10 but it only showed LaunchBox when I launched Plex or SlingPlayer the capture was of LaunchBox running in the background.

@crimsonnight I was using NullDC today on my Windows 10 64x machine I don't ever use disc just files. I got all of the files from Emuparadise.

I use NullDC for Dreamcast but also have Demul working too. There is a good tutorial on how to set up NullDC here

Its odd that you aren't getting Metadata for that game because I have the metadata from thegamesdb right click on the game and then search for metadata this will provide you with options of any close matches. The title mine has is Dungeons & Dragons: Warriors of the Eternal Sun. Importing all the games again should get you results for only new games in the folder (if you are using folders and not files) unless during the import you clicked the check box to allow duplicates if you add new games to your collection you could always import them individually with the files option With Actraiser is the rom in .zip format and if so are there multiple versions of the rom inside the .zip or even if you extracted a .zip with multiple versions to a folder that will create a entry for ever rom inside the folder. The best way to deal with dupes is to click on each duplicate while holding in control then right click on one of the highlighted files and choose delete from the options.

Poked around a little and found something called Castor on GitHub it allows you to launch applications as channels but only on the computer running the server which is useless to me since my PMS runs on a Windows Home Server 2011 I have in the basement what I am looking for would be a way to launch BigBox locally from my Plex Home Theater program which would probably be impossible since everything on Plex relies on the server side. I would somehow need PHT to be able to launch programs on its own.

I think you misunderstood I meant launch either Plex or Kodi from inside BigBox since I don't think you can launch BigBox from Plex (or if you can I don't know how). Also would your launcher allow to launch say the SlingBox desktop app and then you would have seamless TV, media and emulation.

Ok a couple of questions here does Kodi still store all of your metadata in the folders with the files because I find that to clutter up my folders in ways I don't care for. I switched over from XBMC to Plex and I have to say I just think Plex looks better (personal preference). I know that there isn't anyway to launch BigBox from Plex but couldn't I easily launch Plex from inside of BigBox or Kodi for that matter.

Works great. I'm very very very glad that you have this feature included. I've never had to use it before but if suddenly all my hard work into LaunchBox was gone I'd probably be very upset. Has this always been a feature or did you add it after experiencing catastrophic failure?

Sorry I should have read closer I assumed that you were using in a dual monitor setting and using one DVI and HDMI at the same time just that your new monitor didn't support DVI so you couldn't connect both at the same time. I see now that isn't the case. I use an adapter like that but for vga to dvi since my video card is only dvi and hdmi and my TV doesn't support DVI my second monitor is connected by an Asus WiCast (a short lived and relatively unknown wireless display device(It works great though)) which requires my HDMI port. You're absolutely correct about the sound HDMI is the only cable that does audio and video unless there is something newer I haven't heard of yet What type of audio card does your PC have? Could you connect like a 3.5 wire to rca audio y cable from the PC to the receiver
