    Startup video

I see someone just read and reacted to my post just want to update and say that what I said there doesn't apply any longer as things have changed now you make a folder named startup in the videos folder and you can have as many videos as you like in there named whatever you like.
  2. I'm going to link a few things about MAME documentation the 1st explains having monitor orientation .ini files they will be called VERTICAL.ini and HORIZONT.ini (I believe the caps are necessary), The 2nd talks about commandlines and rotation but you wouldn't need to use a commandline you would want to set you rotation monitor in your VERTICAL.ini You would set rotate right or left (ror or rol) which everone you need to 1 instead of 0 then all of your vertical games would rotate.
  3. if you are using MAME it has built in tools for rotation.
  4. Using all I get more hills and valleys than a flat spike
  5. https://www.perforce.com/blog/vcs/what-svn You will also see a lot of emulator development builds use that acronym
  6. That is the spike I get on a caching operation but its only about 32% on a i5 6500 with SMS almost 600 games.
  7. Yeah I rarely ever get high cpu usage from LB so I would say his being that high is abnormal on an i7
  8. I'm confused OP says its using a lot of CPU then you show it using a lot of memory which is apples and oranges.
  9. I've seen cocktail machines with controls set at both parts of the screen so you didn't need to rotate it but just sat at it depending on which orientation you wanted to play in and for the emulators that have both vertical and horizontal games they usually always have the ability to rotate in the settings.
  10. but those aren't games they are platforms. I'm confused.
  11. Okay now there is some useful feedback we can build off of. Black screen can sometimes be caused by a bad bios file. If you load the core and go to info and choose one of the options it will show you what files you need and if they are present along with checksums for them. It will tell you what the file needs to be named exactly.
  12. Sounds like you aren't even convinced they should be added but just naming them for the sake of adding something else.
  13. yes I'm trying to help you do so and to get it working you don't need to scan your games in you just need to load the core and then load the content if they work you can then add them to LB.
  14. Why do I feel like I'm in a different conversation
  15. I've never once scanned my games into RA that is more for if you plan on using it as your frontend instead of LB
  16. Okay don't scan your game open RA load a core for PS1 after the core is loaded go to load content and navigate to you PS1 directory and see if the games are there
  17. yeah even if it didn't work in the end I don't think I've ever seen RA just show a blank directory on a file type it supports.
  18. Just to add and this applies to everyone the 1st thing anyone does before adding games to LB is get the games themselves working through the emulator before even introducing LB to the equation
  19. well wait if he is going to the directory where his games are in RA and it doesn't see the games that is a problem.
  20. can you in the setting for the emulator change which key launches the menu
  21. I don't know you can try going to tools options joystick and gamepads and disabling controller automation then.
  22. go to tools go to manage emulators edit PCSXR go to the auto hot key tab and remove the text in there but now you won't be able to close the emulator with controller automation
  23. We frown on trying to do what you are trying to do and the people who sell those to people so you are on your own on figuring it out.
