  1. oh well that is sort of my fault as I don't think the Yabause core supports chd files in RA (but not sure on that as I don't like or use Yabause) I know that the mednafen Satrun core in RA definitely does support them though so if you try them with that core and they don't work then I have no clue what the issue would be.
  2. Has anyone tried using different drivers for their XBox controllers if you hit win+x and go to device manager this method works in 8 8.1 and 10 (For 7 just open start and type device manager) When the device manager opens navigate to the XBox 360 peripherals and open the menu with the arrow when XBox 360 controller for Windows show right click it and go to update driver A new form will open and on this you will choose browse my computer for driver software then when that opens another form choose Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer Then the next form will pop up from there try a few of the other drivers listed and see if maybe it doesn't help you issue out as you can see the drivers have dates and due to the fact I am running on the Windows Insider Preview you may not have the latest drive dated that I have. In the end I have no clue if any of this will do you any good but if it already isn't working good what can it hurt to try.
  3. for PSX DC and Saturn you might want to consider converting your games to chd instead of rar chd is a pretty good space saver and it is playable in Retroarch for most cd based cores. MAME comes with a tool named CHDman.exe that will convert them you will probably have to unrar them 1st though.
  4. It's probably nested one to many levels
  5. Have you tried opening the exe from within the folder and are you running an Antivirus program that is all of a sudden quarantining it
  6. Quick Google search for Movie Plugin Launchbox and this was the top result
  7. So does regular LB open in both of these installs?
  8. Do you have the right core LB defaults to the Mednafen core not the mednafen hw core so if you only have the hw core and you haven't edited it in the dropdown menu that will cause issues
  9. Glad I could fix your problem it has been fairly common in the latest version of UI for a few months now.
  10. In MAME UI is your ini file in the ini folder if so that has been known to cause issues with LB copy or move your ini into the root folder with the exe
  11. yeah you should change it in the RA associated platform settings to match your platform not the other way around. If you changed the name from what you imported as and you refresh images for that platform you probably won't have any media.
  12. You don't need to add it it is already present
  13. yeah that is the global setting so if you set it there it applies to the whole emulator
  14. It looks like it is already using the command. That line is for specified configurations and stuff like that.
  15. the drop down is to the left you have to click on it to get the drop down to show.
  16. are you using the drop down menues
  17. Can you show us some pictures
  18. what version of LB are you using with 8.3 and maybe even 8.2 you don't type in the command line any longer for a specific platform you select if from a drop down menu. As to why you have to match the platform name its because it has to know what name to use if the associated platform has the wrong platform name when you are using your platform it won't associate them with each other hence the name platform association.
  19. So did you get it working or not
  20. What is your platform named in LB and what is the platform named in the associated platform tab for Retroarch if you edit the emulator from Manage emulators. Do they match?
  21. Okay so you can either separate the games into their own folder and add them as a platform or you can go to where they are in your existing LB library and right click them and add them to a Playlist named Tenchnos
  22. I sort of didn't clarify when you do the new install I meant for you to do it in a new location not over the old one. Hope I didn't create any confusion.
