  1. As far as I know RA Mednafen Saturn has always had the disc swapping function, but it's not "auto". In RA Mednafen PSX it's in Quick Menu -> Disk Management if you want to manually change from one disc to another (and I believe the Saturn core uses the same thing). m3us are faster though because you don't have to go into the menu at all, just use the hotkeys for "open/close tray" -> "next disc" -> "open/close tray".
  2. They can match either the library title or the rom (or in this case UUID) name in order to be picked up automatically. The ones that are picked up without any changes are presumably matching your library title. That said, when I first did mine I did end up renaming some of my snaps as well If you download fresh snaps through LB though, it should automatically be naming them based on your library titles anyway.
  3. Sure. There are tons of exclusives and in some cases games that are cross-platform but are best on Amiga. Some favorites from memory: Agony Ambermoon Perihelion Gods Chaos Engine Shadow of the Beast Shadow of the Beast 2 Shadow of the Beast 3 Alien Breed: Tower Assault It Came From the Desert Speedball 2 Ruff 'n' Tumble Benefactor Hired Guns Banshee Hero Quest Cadaver Defender of the Crown Cavitas Apocalypse Lamborghini American Challenge Odyssey
  4. The video has a big red annotated message about the launcher. The custom launcher itself is no longer needed, but everything else is (including the UUIDs, the UUID exporter, separate emulator entries for FS-UAE and FS-UAE UUID, etc.).
  5. The video is still accurate. Eirulan's launcher is no longer necessary (it was to address a bug that has since been patched), but that's annotated in the video.
  6. It normally is! haha Pro-tip when doing these: Select the first cue Press F2 Hit Ctrl+A Hit Ctrl+C Go back into your text file and hit Ctrl+V Repeat for subsequent discs It prevents this from happening.
  7. Wait! I just noticed... You don't have spaces in the .m3u after "Disc" You've got Disc1 and Disc2 and it should be Disc 1 and Disc 2
  8. Err... actually it looks like you've got them stored internally in LB, so I guess it wouldn't. If so, I'm not sure what to tell you, to be honest. The only other thing is if you could double check to see that that's the actual core dll you're using (hardware as opposed to non-hardware). Double-check your RA cores folder for the .dll.
  9. The files all look good, but the path in the Launcher tab looks like it's incomplete. It doesn't start with an ellipsis and it's just beginning with "Games". Try clicking the "Browse" button and navigating to and selecting the .m3u. This is what mine looks like, for example:
  10. Attach the .cues and the .m3u. Then post screenshots of the Launcher tab and the Emulation tab of the game entry in LB, and the associated platform tab for your RA emulator entry.
  11. If you need to do it frequently enough that you don't want to switch via a per-game custom command-line like that, you can also just create a separate emulator entry for it, call it something like "Retorarch - SNES9x" and just have an associated platform of Super Nintendo (or whatever you've named your platform), and direct it to the alternate core dll that you want to use (in this case snes9x_libretro.dll) and then change the emulator used for the relevant games. If it's just a few one-off games @lordmonkus's example will be better.
  12. It used to be kindof complicated but all you have to do at this point is direct the .sfc to the SNES9x core. You can use BSNES if you've got a manifest.bml file (and the manifest is actually correct) but not everybody that releases MSU-1s uses them. With the SNES9x core you can just direct the .sfc that's in the folder to it and it'll work.
  13. Oh shiiii... new Purity Ring track that they just put up literally about 30 minutes ago. Love these guys.
  14. Yep, that's certainly an option. You can specify command line parameters for each additional app individually. Yes, so long as your computer is setup to automatically mount your disc images via double-click (in other words, your disc images have a file association with DT) that's how it'll work. It's no different than if you were to go into the folder where the disc images were located, double-clicked on the next disc image and it then replaced the previously mounted image (this is the default behavior). Launchbox is essentially a visually-appealing, easily-organizable collection of Windows shortcuts. If you indicate an emulator that you want to use, it's no different than if you were to direct one file at another file via the target field of a Windows shortcut. If you don't specify another file (emulator) that you want to direct it to, it's no different than if you had simply double-clicked on that file on your computer.
  15. This is between you and Xpadder. LB has no direct interaction with Xpadder whatsoever. If memory serves, you can setup per-application profiles in Xpadder, but again that's handled within Xpadder itself. I'm not entirely sure what you mean by this. If you setup your disc image as your "rom", blank out your emulator entry, and then add an additional app for the game .exe and tell it to "automatically start after main application" what will happen when you start the game is DT will mount the image and then the game .exe will start once complete. The only way I know to do this is to setup discs 2, 3 etc. as additional apps, and when prompted to swap discs in game, alt-tab, right-click on the game entry and launch them. They'll then replace your existing mounted image, you can alt-tab back in game, and continue.
  16. I do have some playlist logos actually. I don't have one for Sports yet though.
  17. Yep, it's pretty great haha. If there are any Dredd fans (and I certainly hope there are), the song's actually in the movie:
  18. I dunno if it's the same guy, but this one (Chris Shaw) has been around pulling this shit for a long time, so I wouldn't be shocked.
  19. Sorry guys, been off working on other things lately. @Belgarath pretty much covered it for the bios settings. You just have to pull up the Atari800 UI and tell it where they are. You can actually just have it scan a directory and it'll pull multiple bios files in, not just 5200 (because it plays Atari 8-bit games as well). Emulator Configuration -> System Rom Settings -> Find rom images in a directory -> navigate into the directory where they're located and press space. Then go to Emulator Configuration -> Save Configuration File. If you want to get particularly fancy, you can even use external palettes to make it look a bit better. laoo.act is particularly good - I've attached it below. You just go to Display Settings -> External Palette and navigate to the palette file. Save the configuration afterwards. F2 = Option F3 = Select F4 = Start The default controller controls are: L1 = Option R1 = Toggle UI L2 = Space R2 = Escape Select = Select Start = Start A = Fire/Return in GUI B = Return X = Fire 2/Escape in GUI Y = Virtual Keyboard On/Off Those can be rearranged via Quick Menu -> Controls but it doesn't show the actual functions above, just "User 1 B" "User 1 Y" etc. so it can be a bit confusing to do. You might want to consider turning on an "enable hotkeys" hotkey if you don't already as a core override because there will be times when you need to use the keyboard and don't want to be activating various RA functions while doing so. This is what I have in my core override (RA\config\Atari800.cfg) currently: custom_viewport_width = "1883" custom_viewport_height = "1345" custom_viewport_x = "15" custom_viewport_y = "-135" aspect_ratio_index = "22" video_shader = ":\shaders\shaders_glsl\crt\crt-hyllian-multipass.glslp" input_libretro_device_p1 = "513" input_enable_hotkey = "shift" The viewport settings may need some adjustment from game to game (which you can do via per-game overrides) but this is generally a good starting point. With these settings you'll need to hold shift to enable RA hotkeys. laoo.act
