  1. That's N64 emulation in a nutshell, mostly good but still needs to cleaning up.
  2. Yeah i've never seen an option to load per game settings but I have also never looked. If you do find a way could you please post how to do it here in this thread for others ?
  3. I don't know of any way to have that emulator load game specific settings, I also have not run into any games that require their own specific settings but I have also not tested every game. You may want to look into Retroarch and the Mupen64 core if you require per game settings, it is very easy to do with it and that emulator is quite good as well.
  4. It's very well made and has enough different to distinguish it from traditional jrpgs.
  5. That's for the N64 Disk Drive. You could fake a bios screen with a startup video through RocketLauncher or wait for LB to have it's own which will be in the works soon.
  6. Your command line is wrong it should be: -L "cores\genesis_plus_gx_libretro.dll" You are missing the quotes around the core. Is there a reason you are using a custom command line for this specific game instead of that core for the platform in the associated platforms of your Retroarch emulator entry in LB ?
  7. The CD version of the game should be a bin (cart rom) + iso (soundtrack), atleast that's what I have. The bin and iso are in a folder and I load the bin file into RA and it plays the music off the iso image. I don't know if there are other versions floating around or not, I haven't seen others.
  8. Are you trying to run just the cart version or the cart + cd version ?, either one you should be loading the .bin file. I have both versions and they both work perfectly fine.
  9. Fusion is a very good emulator but it does have some issues with newer versions of Windows. They can be worked around of course but it is a hassle, if the boot bios screen is more important to you than using a more accurate emulator then that's your choice. Fusion does not run Pier Solar where GenesisGX and Mame does.
  10. Not sure how well it handles 8.1, if i remember right it has the same issues that 10 has. It will work but you have to fuss with it a little more in the settings, I can't remember what settings to be exact though. It's been a while and I haven't used it in a very long time.
  11. This gets updated shortly after the new Mame goes live, there is currently no for the end user to know when it is updated but that is something on Jasons to-do list and even pick which version. Jason does update it the day of or the next day after the Mame release though. This is if you use the Mame specific importer of course, this doesn't apply if you are using the normal import wizard. I wish I could answer your question about the CHDs, I don't use them myself. I don't know what games are CHD files only, I was under the impression that they were companion files to go with the actual chipset dumps and as long as the path for them is in the mame.ini file it's fine.
  12. You could use the Pico core just for the multi disk games. Fusion is / was a fine emulator but it hasn't had an update in forever and does not play nice with Windows 10 (if you are using Windows 10).
  13. Games load fine for me through LB using Cemu 1.14.
  14. No but you can go to the root folder of a platform and using the search function in your file manager *.bin or whatever file type you are looking for. This will find all the files of that type in the folder and its sub folders which you can then select all and drag into LB to import.
  15. If your games are all in a single folder go to the platform you wish to change the folder for and then at the top of the LB window click Tools > Change ROMs Folder Path. If your games are in their own folder like some people like to do for CD based systems then you are best to use Notepad++ and the Find Replace All tool to edit the paths in the platforms xml file.
  16. That game imported fine for me with my No Filler set using the standard importer, there was a few games (5) that didn't get picked up by the importer but SF III: 2nd Impact was not one of them.
  17. Try the newest release, 1.14 and see if it still has this issue. In a recent video from BSOD he said that the crashing after the caching issue was happening for some people in 1.13 but should now be fixed with 1.14. Make sure to get the latest CemuHook as well.
  18. Jason does review the stuff from this thread from time to time but it's not something that is high on the priority list, poll results take priority. Sometimes things from this thread do get added to polls.
  19. I find normal HLSL better and easier to tweak so that is what I use. I would imagine BGFX you could tweak to your liking but it requires much more effort and shader language knowledge.
  20. Genesis GX also does not support 32X anyways so you would have to use Pico.
  21. Yeah the 970 isn't the issue, my old PC (currently my HTPC) has a 970 and it has not been any problems with emulation.
  22. I run it on Windows 10 without issues but my Mame folder is on another drive, I wonder if maybe because of where you have it installed to is causing the problem.
  23. BigBox doesn't cease to function when the 1 year license expires. It hasn't done this for any other user, you are the only person to claim this. A forever license is a lifetime license, you had a 1 year license. You can contact support if you have a complaint, any more rant posts like this and you will be banned.
  24. There is no deceptive practice going on, it is quite clear that there is a 1 year license and a lifetime license. The 1 year license you get updates for a year and at the end you get no more updates but you get to keep the premium features for life.
