    Fair enough and I do have to admit after getting this working it is kinda nice having that nice NeoGeo bootup screen instead of the green glitchy looking screen of the arcade or the UniBios screen.

    The Atari 2600 games will most likely work in Stella (stand alone or Retroarch core), not sure about any arcade roms that might be included in that pack.

    Fair enough, I was just curious because it seems even people into the real NeoGeo hardware seem to like and prefer the Unibios because it gives you the option to pick AES or MVS and region easily. I wouldn't think to really call it a mod or a hack unless you are using the cheats.

    I haven't seen anyone doing any sort of benchmarks but I don't expect you would see any real perceivable difference.

    Took me a few minutes to figure this one out but make a separate emulator entry in LB, call it whatever you want, I used NeoGeo AES, it can point to you normal install. In the Edit Emulator screen for that emulator entry set your default command parameters to aes and turn on "Use File Name Only". Also don't forget to add the platform name in the Associated Platforms tab. This doesn't work because Mame expects a .bin file for it.

    I think save state stuff beyond saving and loading using the emulators default is well beyond the scope of what Jason is talking about here. This as well is well outside the scope of what Jason is doing here. People can already easily access the RA Quick Menu using their controller.

    The AHK script isn't wrong, it's a limitation of the emulator so if you wanna take it up with Byuu I am quite sure he will be happy to listen to you. The script closes out the emulator the best it can from a controller only standpoint. If you can make a better AHK script then by all means feel free to post it and share it with the rest of us. You could use Snes9x or Retroarch and its Higan core if you want it to properly exit without losing your saves.

    The performance difference between exclusive and non exclusive fullscreen mode is extremely minimal but it does exist and non exclusive mode does introduce some amount of input lag compared to exclusive fullscreen mode.

    Well that was for back when it was first released and some people had issues and I had updated the theme. Double check that your folder structure looks like this and that the Bad Old Monkey folder is not inside another folder.

    Did you install it to the \LBThemes folder and not the \Themes folder ? Did you read the install instructions which has some extra instructions in case there is an issue ? Some people had some issues and posted a potential fix earlier in the comments and is in the install instructions as well. This won't work, Jason coded it up so the Default is the default in case of a bad theme totally breaking things.

    Yes, it works with 9.0, I use it exclusively without issues.

    Usually this problem is the mame.ini file being in the \ini folder of your Mame install folder, move it out to the main folder where the mame executable is.

    Good to hear you got it fixed, sucks that you had to do a reinstall of Windows. Hopefully it didn't take too long.

    Check your task manager to make sure it's not running in the background and reboot your system if you haven't done so already.

    This can be done by making a custom theme and editing the GameDetailsView.xaml I moved it up to line 163 and this was the result, I have a bunch of the text above it disabled in LB itself. Here is a modified version of my BadOldMonkey theme. Bad Old Monkey - Alt.7z

    Mednafen and the RA core doesn't utilize the GPU at all beyond outputting the image, it's all CPU driven.
