  1. If using the Non Merged or Merged set just one. This is why I recommend using a Non Merged set to pull roms from if going for a hand picked set. With a Split set you will need to figure out which is the parent and clone and if you want to run a clone rom you will need a parent to go along with it. With a merged set all of the games different versions are included but you still may need a bios to go along with it.
  2. Have you watched any of the guides on the YouTube channel ? https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSIht6UXIEXIgz4eXAEShxA/videos ETA Prime even did a great beginners guide on his own channel.
  3. The spreadsheet contains that info, tp84.zip is Time Pilot 84. Every game is listed with its rom zip file name and the copy command for it. Not sure if this is completely up to date or not but you can try http://www.mamedb.org/List.aspx Another option would be to get a version of Mame with a GUI and point it at a full rom set, you can then go through it and look up games and see what the rom zip file name is.
  4. I've seen quite a few requests for a visual theme maker from people.
  5. Take it easy, he misread and it was an honest mistake.
  6. Could you post this over in the Translating Launchbox so one of the translators can make the necessary change ?
  7. Nah, that just makes it easier to nudge player 2 off the controls when they are beating you. lol
  8. Looks nice, compact without being too small. That's how it looks in the pic at least.
  9. Added that to the controller customization entry
  10. Added an extra asterisk to the "Fully editable controller and keyboard functionality in BigBox." entry and added a new entry for the Steam image import since it may have been an over site.
  11. It's not only about the selling of roms, it's about profiting off the art work that people make and put out there for free and the emulators that have it in their licenses that they are not to be used in a "commercial product". These hard drive sellers are scum, they piss off artists and emulator devs to the point that they sometimes just quit the scene entirely or keep all their stuff private which helps no one.
  12. If your games are working outside of LB in the emulator on its own then you have something setup wrong in LB. Double check your platform name and the associated platforms for your Retroarch emulator entry in LB. Make sure the correct core is being loaded for the Playstation entry.
  13. Have you tried watching the guides on YouTube ?
  14. If everything is in a sub folder of your LB install it should all transfer neatly anyways, I say should but not guaranteed.
  15. You can use this for platforms that have the games all in one folder though if you have any where games are in their own folders then you have to use Notepad++ to edit the platform xml files using the Find / Replace All tool.
  16. Change the view to Categories, then right click a category to make a new one such as Sega Genesis. From there you can either make new categories how you want and have them show under the new category or use playlists. Right clicking and editing a category, platform or playlist now has a Parent tab where you can pick and choose where they are shown under.
  17. I would just like to direct everyone who says "Launchbox is slow" to this post over here: The user was having issues with long load times and it turned out to be caused by some speakers he had. This is a prime example of what I have been saying, sometimes other software interferes in some odd manner that is outside of Launchbox. So when I say that many of us don't have these issues that people complain about and it could be your computer this is exactly the kind of stuff I am talking about.
  18. I don't know of any guides but here is a clean self extracting version of ImgBurn without any adware garbage in it. Portable_ImgBurn_2.5.8.0.exe
  19. Does this happen only when loaded through LB or in the emulator on its own ? I have had to convert a few disk images from iso + wav before but never had that issue at all. The way I did it was to mount the disk image using Virtual Clone Drive and then use ImgBurn to rip that into a bin and generate a cue using ImgBurn as well.
  20. Not sure what to tell you to help out here but I just tested it with version 1.13.1d of Cemu with the "-f -g" command line parameters and loaded up the game no problems.

    having trouble

Ok that's specifically for Alien VS Predator, it means that either you haven't set your rom path in Mame or your romset is incompatible with the version of Mame you are using.

Gonna need more details. What is the exact missing bin message ? Is it exactly the same for every game or just one ? Downloading a rom set and emulator pack from a torrent site is a huge unknown. We don't know the rom set version and if it matches up with the emulator version or not. We always recommend getting the rom set version that matches the emulator used from a reputable site such as Pleasure Dome or The Internet Archive.
