    If i'm not mistaken the timer got removed recently with the way startup videos changed. It now plays the entire video or you can press a button to skip it. I could be wrong though since I never bothered with startup videos.

    Custom themes may or may not support the favorites and recently played games like in the first screen shot above but the alphabetical selection should be there for all themes. The screenshots I posted are using the default theme.

    Yes, I forgot about that since I only use the vertical scrolling menus, thanks for pointing that out.

    The favorites and recent games will show when using the default theme and if a custom theme supports it, the screen shots above are using the default theme. The "letter selection" is brought up by pressing left on the keyboard or controller, I think this is in all themes.

    The 2nd post on the first page is just a sample of the things people want and Jason himself has a list of things he wants to do.

    Well you have posted in the "small things" thread, did you see the giant list of things there that people want ? Every single one of those are far more important than wasting time on an icon and UI overhaul.

    It's simply that you have what was 3 and now 4 posts asking for something that is not needed and nobody but you asking for. If all you want is an updated icon feel free to make and use your own, it's not hard. But if you want a whole rework of the entire UI then Jason has far more important things to work on, believe me, he has a list a mile long of more important "functional" improvements he has to get done at some point.

    Don't get your hopes up. I only say this because you only have 3 posts here on the forums and all of them relate to the UI. But @Jason Carr has far more important things to improve upon than the "look" of the UI which is perfectly fine for what it is right now.

    Mame / Mess is pretty nifty for those oddball systems that have no other good options, it has some really nice easy to configure options once you get the hang of it, it's very flexible.

    If you have your roms setup in a logical and organized manner re-importing wouldn't take that much time at all since you already have all the media files and those are what takes the most time when importing.

    Not sure what to tell you really other than remove your xml files and re-import your games for each platform. You won't need to re-download all the media at all but you will have to scrape them for the meda data. Sounds like something got really messed up somehow.

    Try restoring your PSP xml file from the backups folder and if that works remove the PSP platform xml and see if it loads.

    Like I said, you can re-use your media. Import your games using the Launchbox importer and have it not download the media. You can then either point Launchbox to your media locations or move your media over to the appropriate folders in Launchbox.

    You could use the same media and that's about it. Either point Launchbox to your media files or move your media to the appropriate folders in Launchbox. Launchbox and Hyperspin do things in a different way so using your xml files from HS won't work in LB. Same with themes, they are done in a different way.

    It would be possible but I highly doubt it will ever happen. It would take a lot of time and energy on @Jason Carrs part to do it and that is time away from other more important and more requested features.
