You can set individual cores on a per game basis if you edit the game and use a custom command line parameter to load the core you want. Mae should't be showing after exiting your game. Maybe take a look at this tutorial video and see if you did something different in your setup.

Because the auto generated lists are based off of certain tags such as platform or genre. If you want to manually control a list make a playlist manually. One tip as well is to auto generate a playlist and then in that generated playlist, then select all the games and right click and add them to a manual playlist.

BigBox Performance and How to Make it Better
Lordmonkus replied to Lordmonkus's topic in Troubleshooting
Again, if this is with a beta release post any performance related issues in the beta release thread. If this is the latest stable release you should look into possible changes and problems with your system because the stable has been out for a while now with no reported problems with performance. I am also now locking this thread once again since it is not meant for a troubleshooting thread, it is more a guide to help people improve performance which is what the first post in this thread is. -
BigBox Performance and How to Make it Better
Lordmonkus replied to Lordmonkus's topic in Troubleshooting
If this is with a beta release post it under the beta release thread, if not then make a new post about it where it will be more likely to be seen. -
Just to update the information in this thread, the easiest thing to do nowadays is to use either the latest stand alone Snes9x or Retroarch core and just simply load the rom file. It should work on most (close to all) of the pre done MSU-1 rom packs, there are a couple that I have to run through the BSnes core in RA using the .bml file.

That's extremely weird, they both pull from the same .xml files so there shouldn't be any differences unless you are viewing a playlist that has different games from a platform.

Good to hear there is a fix for those that want to stick with Fusion.
-
Just tested it with the -fullscreen command line parameter and out of the box settings and it loaded into fullscreen perfectly.
-
Not sure if the people who created those texture packs would appreciate their work being uploaded here in another format. I've asked @Jason Carr about this so for now they can stay until he says otherwise.
-
Sure, just prioritize those images or simply replace all the images in the prioritized folder with cabinet images. I have all mine only showing clear logos.

file specified for the emulation path was not found
Lordmonkus replied to kinetiko's topic in Troubleshooting
Make sure your emulator path matches up where it actually is. -
Is that some stand alone build of Snes9x specifically for Retro Achievements ? I ask because I have never seen this with the normal stand alone Snes9x or the Retroarch version.

Watch movies using Launchbox as the front-end
Lordmonkus replied to ps4isthefuture's topic in Features
I believe so, I recall someone figuring out a way to load web pages to a specific URL. -
There is an "archive" that is now hosting them.

Final Burn Alpha is a fine emulator but I swapped over to the the Retroarch FBA core because the stand alone was too finicky and a pain in the butt to use with Launchbox. I did manage to get it working but it's been a long time since I did so I cannot remember what that error you got is and how to fix it.

Since people asked about here it is now for one day only. https://www.launchbox-app.com/premium

Well he does the polls and that influences what he does and he did buckle a bit for the "Small Things" thread and implemented some of those so it isn't a total lost cause. Maybe the sub-categories thing will be on the next poll.
-
There will be a new poll soon since Jason is just finishing up all last of the things left from the last poll. Hopefully the sub categories will be on the next poll to vote for, beyond that there really is no way to speed it up since Jason makes the decisions on when and what he works on. I try to nudge him in certain directions but all I can do is make suggestions, I have next to zero influence on him for the most part. For now though the best you can do is like you have posted above but without the "Consoles" category. You can create categories based on the console manufacturer like Nintendo, Sega and Sony, then from there have platforms for each console.

Looks like Dracula X is next. Also it seems that Smoke Monster is no longer uploading them to his Google drive so now people will have to patch their own roms and download the music packs from Zeldix https://www.zeldix.net/f45-msu-1-hacking
-
Unfortunately going this deep into sub folder / categories is not possible at the moment but it is something that has been asked for and is on the "Small Things" list. I have been pushing @Jason Carr for this feature for a while, hope he finds some time to implement it because it is something a lot of people have been asking for.

I haven't used Cemu since 181 so I don'know if this has changed or not but the command line parameter that you needed for it back then at least was the following: -f -g If this has changed maybe someone who knows what it should be now will be able to help out.

Ok, enough of the passive aggressive sarcasm from all parties in this thread. Locking it now before it goes any further.
