Rescrape the games and make sure the videos is checked in the media section where you pick and choose. Hopefully someone who has some actual experience with emumovies will be able to chime in though because like I said, I don't use them and never have so I don't know.

Umm, hopefully someone can give you more info because like I said, I don't use emumovies at all so I don't know how it all works exactly. But did you input you emumovies login info into Launchbox ? And check in your \LaunchBox\Videos\"platform name" folder for video files. You also may need to restart Launchbox to refresh it but I don't think that is necessary.

I know .mp4 works, no idea about .flv Video files will work with both the free and premium versions.

I believe they are generally separated into folders by system so that's easy enough to just copy over but yeah if they are all loose in one big folder that's not gonna be fun.

Sorry, I don't know the price after discount. Yeah you can pay for one month to download what you need and then cancel. You will still be able to use the video files you just won't be able to scrape them through Launchbox. Now of course if you can source video files from elsewhere you can just dump them into their appropriate folders and they will work just fine as long as the naming is correct.

There are movies that are a part of the theme itself but it's not individual per game videos. Emumovies is not included with Launchbox but you do get a discount code for emumovies. I do believe though that even without an account you can download some stuff from emumovies manually with a set usage limit per day. I am not 100% certain of that though since I do not use video files and don't use emumovies.

When you download a theme you will have to extract it to the themes folder but it is very simple. Some themes may require a few extra steps but they should have clear instructions on what you need to do. The theme downloads are generally not very big at all but you all the game videos and pictures like screenshots are different from themes and those will be downloaded when you import your games. Gameplay videos will be downloaded from Emumovies if you have an account with them but all the other art like box art and screen shots are all on the Launchbox database which is free to everyone, even the non premium users.

Well it's definitely a Direct X issue, you may need to try reinstalling a couple of different version.

Did you install up to date video card drivers ?

Get the update packs and use a tool like CLRMamePro which depending on your experience with it is a pain in the ass.

You cannot just convert it, you will need the new proper qsound.zip with the right rom file inside that zip file. The file inside you need is dl-1425.bin.

If you are having qsound issues there was a recent change to it so you may need an updated rom.

Do you have v-sync enabled ?

Probably use the "Additional Apps" tab of the "Edit Game" window, this only be done on a per game basis though.

Well I don't know what went on with Hyperspin but can assure you I won't be letting this community go to shit which is why I won't be removing reviews at peoples requests simply because you don't like or agree with the review, I will remove them if they are abusive of course. My apologies, I do not pay attention to any themes because I really don't care about them. I was only going by what you posted which was that you removed it. I did not know that it was simply re-uploaded as City Hunter 2, I just assumed it was a completely different theme.

I agree but pulling your theme just because 1 person gave it a bad review with zero input is petty. I am sorry your ego got bruised by a single bad vote among the 14 thousand downloads and the many 5 star ratings it received. The only thing you achieved by pulling your theme is that now there is a very popular theme that is no longer available and you are coming off as childish.

Yeah and your reports of the review you did not like is exactly why I made this thread in the first place. But I am only asking that people provide some detail for why the bad review, that does not mean I will be removing bad reviews unless it is something really egregious like a profanity laden rant. I will not censor reviews that do not require it and I will not be removing reviews just because you or your friends don't agree with the bad review.

We should also have the same thing for people reporting things such as reviews they don't like.

Basically anything that is capable of running Windows 7 or newer will work with Launchbox but keep in mind that the lower the hardware specs the more performance becomes an issue with both Launchbox and emulators. You are correct about the Pi3, that cannot run Launchbox because it cannot run Windows.

Yeah, I wish I had a better answer for you but I know it is a setting, I just don't know specifically what setting would cause it. I know sometimes certain displays or refresh rate of the display can cause issues. And there are so many settings that I could sit here all day going back and forth with "check this" "check that" and "what's this set to ?"
