  1. Sorry I can't give you anything specific but first off I would highly recommend using stand alone Mame over the RA core. Retroarch's control stuff interferes with Mames and causes issues. Second, here is a link to a guide I did on setting up Star Wars to use a flight stick and while it's not exactly the same thing it does have some of the same control issues with sensitivity and they need to be tweaked in Mames controller settings. You can get much cheaper non force feedback wheels which are actually fine for use with Mame and most emulated driving games since they do no support force feedback anyways. I have seen mention of a FFB plugin and I have tried to get it work with Mame but had no luck.
  2. No, it doesn't download the rom set, it will download the Mame version you tell it to. You still have to obtain the rom set yourself.
  3. Glad it's working now, it certainly was a weird one. I have no clue, my setup was all done long before Jason implemented that stuff.
  4. Yeah, I would try removing the TG CD games and re-importing them. It may or may not work but it's worth a short.
  5. Ok, if you told LB to leave them then that is fine. This is certainly a strange one because as Neil said, everything looks to be fine. I assume your other imported games for NES, TG16 and N64 all work fine through LB with RA ?
  6. When you did your import did you tell LB to copy the file to the LB directory or leave it ?
  7. Stop using Norton, it is pure trash and more of a malware on peoples systems.
  8. That doesn't mean they incorrect though. Get the correct bios and good known working disc images (cue + bin from Redump), make sure the games work in the emulator and import the cue file into LB.
  9. Remove the numbers from the file names, use something like Bulk Renaming Tool.
  10. If you are having license issues email support@unbrokensoftware.com they will get you sorted out.
  11. Good to hear, unusual for a rom set to be corrupted.
  12. Well I am certainly not going to debate any of this with you and now that you have your responses I am going to lock this thread before some jackass comes in here and starts a fight over it.
  13. Well you'll have to be more specific about what you mean by "Pre-emptively searching" because that is awfully vague. I don't think the description of the game is malicious in it's intent. It's just describing what is in the game and games of that era, especially early computer devs just used pictures of the people around the office. Now, you can either suggest a change to the DB or just change it in your LB.
  14. Use stand alone PCSX2, the RA core is still a work in progress and not ready for daily use.
  15. You can submit a change to the DB or you can edit it on your end in your LB setup.
  16. It's a copy paste description from Moby Games https://www.mobygames.com/game/mike-reads-computer-pop-quiz. No idea if that description was from the original box or booklet or just something made up for Moby Games. You can edit the game description in LB if you like.
  17. I haven't updated in a couple of years now, there has been no game or feature added that I wanted.
  18. Please post in English even if it's using Google translate. "LaunchBox for comp, BigBox for TV. Among the many similar programs, LaunchBox is the best. Therefore, I immediately purchased a perpetual license and use it with pleasure. Including on Android. What I personally lack is some kind of mini-panel where I can display the functions I need. For example, I manually add covers for all games. Accordingly, I have to choose: Ctrl + E - Images - then select the desired one. It would be easier to display the ability to immediately download the desired image by selecting the game. And so on, little things like that would be very, very helpful in working with LaunchBox."
  19. Not everyone needs BigBox mode, I very rarely ever use it. The free version is extremely usable with very few (if any) critical features locked behind the pay wall and depending on the country you live in the license is quite expensive.
  20. The TankStick is made to be used with Mame where you can map anything you like and use combo presses and in that case the TankStick has enough buttons.
  21. Wow, this thread devolved to be even more ridiculous than it was already. An emulator core in Retroarch is not inherently better or worse than the stand alone version it is ported from. It really is a core by core basis which may or may not be superior. Also, the reasons for one being superior to the other depends on the end users needs. I am now closing this thread.
