  1. For simplicity I would recommend Vivid Weathers but RLO just looks so much better for my tastes.
  2. Oh I agree LOOT is awesome and should be used, just be sure to double check it. If you look at the RLO page for what it wants as the load it is different than what LOOT puts it at and the mod author. I think this more an issue with the Skyrim SE and the current version of LOOT.
  3. The new version of NMM does have profiles in it already and works. Mod Manager was better than NMM but has not been fully updated for Special Edition and from what I have read the author of Mod Manager is now working with the Nexus guys on NMM. Also in regards to LOOT, for now use it as a guide to help but don't just blindly trust it. While it does a pretty good job it is not 100%. Take some time to read the info for each mod and think about how that mod works with other mods you may be using for some overlap. 2 quick examples of LOOTs current flaws would be water mods are being loaded too high in the load order when they need to be much lower or else you get nasty seams where 2 different kinds of waters meet. Water mods need to be lower than other mods that change world spaces. The other mod as an example is the Realistic Lighting Overhaul mod, this mod comes with several .esp files and LOOT doesn't sort them properly so they need to be adjusted manually.
  4. Oh yeah for sure, the price of the flash cart may be expensive but in the grand scheme of all things NeoGeo it's very reasonable. Thank you emulation, lol.
  5. You did ? Then again you do so much content I can't keep up so I don't even try to anymore, lol.
  6. This is now a thing, still pricey like anything NeoGeo related but way better than actually buying carts. This is for the MVS which is the arcade version of the NeoGeo hardware so you will need either an actual NeoGeo arcade cabinet or a consolized MVS system to use it. So for those of you with the money and desire to play on real hardware the day is here where you can actually own every game. Where to buy ? https://www.neosdstore.com/shop/index.php?id_product=8&controller=product&id_lang=1 Videos showing it off: Review: http://www.neo-geo.com/forums/showthread.php?268514-NEOSD-flash-card&p=4131984&viewfull=1#post4131984
  7. Also keep in mind that many of the old mods do not work in the Special Edition, some do however. A good amount have been ported over and more are coming and unless you are sure that an older mod works in the new version do not install it. Always read the mods description and even the "Posts" section for each mod for what people and the mod author is saying about the mod. DISCLAIMER: Mods can break your game so do so at your own risk.
  8. Most likely not but to be perfectly honest I don't know, using the Steam Workshop to mod Skyrim is not a good way of doing things unless it is just one or two very basic mods. Using a mod manager such as the Nexus one is a much better way of doing things. Also I don't know if the the Unofficial Patch is on the Steam Workshop or not but everyone should have that regardless if they want to install any other mods or not. It fixes a lot of bugs that Bethesda themselves just don't care to. If you are new to Nexus Mod Manager and want to learn how to use it here is a perfect set of youtube video tutorials from Gopher to get you started.
  9. S.T.E.P. was a great guide to getting a fully modded game working well as long as you followed it and paid attention. Until S.T.E.P. gets updated S.E.P.T.I.M.A. is doing the same thing just on a smaller scale for the Special Edition. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2846/?
  10. If you are using Retroarch and the Nestopia core update it to the latest and in the core options with the emulator open you will find this new version of the palette. If you aren't using Retroarch depending on the emulator you are using you can download and the palette file and use it. I know puNES uses it but I don't know what other ones allow this. Here is the website for FriebrandXs palette files and more information on what they are and why they are good. Basically you want it because your NES emulation may not be outputting the correct colours. http://www.firebrandx.com/nespalette.html The download link is the big green "Unsaturated-Final Palette for Emulators"
  11. Weird that some games would work and others didn't. I guess you had a Syscard1 or Syscard2 bios and not a Syscard3.
  12. I cannot comment on Pop'N Magic or Mugen Senshi Valis but I know Nexzr works. I am going to guess that you just have bad dumps of those games.
  13. I remember having this issue and if my memory is correct the way to solve it was to go to the Video drop down menu, then set either one or both (I set both) Fullscreen Resolution (Vertical and Horizontal) to match your monitors resolution, 2560x1440 in my case. You may also want to set Fullscreen Bitdepth to 32-bit, though I don't know if that will cause or fix any problems, mine is set to 32.
  14. I can't give you any specific answers but I can tell you that others have setups using Launchbox in 4:3 with a theme that supports that aspect ratio. As far as emulators are concerned that will be dependent upon the emulators themselves. Specifically regarding Retroarch people set it up to work on 4:3 CRTs so you may want to take a look over on their forums for more detailed information.
  15. If it's just some games check the compatibility page for possible issues. https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Nintendo_GameCube https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Wii
  16. Is it all games or just some ?
  17. Hehe no problem, there's sometimes a lot of little settings that can thrown a wrench into the works. Glad you got it sorted out.
  18. Can you post a picture of the "Emulator Details" tab ?
  19. Can you be more detailed about what you mean by "breaks up" ? Also can you post screen shots of your emulator settings window. Example screen shots from this post I made over here
  20. You will need to redo those images, they are too big to click on and see full size, simply saving them out as .jpg instead of .png should be fine. Hopefully @SentaiBrador @Jason Carrcan help you out with it. Like I said I have no problems with mine using the version of FBA I stated above and cue + bin disk images.
  21. Ahh ok I have not looked at the newest version, the latest I got is 2.97.37. I did have it loading NeoGeo CD games with no command line parameters needed. That is a weird error message the fba.exe is not supported by FB Alpha. Try looking into your emulator settings in Launchbox, maybe you got the "extract roms" box checked when it shouldn't be. You also want the "Use file name only" box checked.
  22. I assume you meanthe stand alone version. You don't need any command switches for FBA to run NeoGeo CD. To get it to load a game full screen look in the Video drop down menu for "Auto switch to full screen after loading". On a personal opinion note I recommend using Mess for NeoGeo CD unless you don't mind accurate 1x cd load times which are pretty long on the NeoGeo CD. Mess lets you fast forward with the "insert" key by default.
