  1. If it's just some games check the compatibility page for possible issues. https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Nintendo_GameCube https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Wii
  2. Is it all games or just some ?
  3. Hehe no problem, there's sometimes a lot of little settings that can thrown a wrench into the works. Glad you got it sorted out.
  4. Can you post a picture of the "Emulator Details" tab ?
  5. Can you be more detailed about what you mean by "breaks up" ? Also can you post screen shots of your emulator settings window. Example screen shots from this post I made over here
  6. You will need to redo those images, they are too big to click on and see full size, simply saving them out as .jpg instead of .png should be fine. Hopefully @SentaiBrador @Jason Carrcan help you out with it. Like I said I have no problems with mine using the version of FBA I stated above and cue + bin disk images.
  7. Ahh ok I have not looked at the newest version, the latest I got is 2.97.37. I did have it loading NeoGeo CD games with no command line parameters needed. That is a weird error message the fba.exe is not supported by FB Alpha. Try looking into your emulator settings in Launchbox, maybe you got the "extract roms" box checked when it shouldn't be. You also want the "Use file name only" box checked.
  8. I assume you meanthe stand alone version. You don't need any command switches for FBA to run NeoGeo CD. To get it to load a game full screen look in the Video drop down menu for "Auto switch to full screen after loading". On a personal opinion note I recommend using Mess for NeoGeo CD unless you don't mind accurate 1x cd load times which are pretty long on the NeoGeo CD. Mess lets you fast forward with the "insert" key by default.
  9. I did a couple of system specific tutorials for Mess such as the NeoGeo CD and the X68000, links below. Yeah they aren't for the Fairchild but the same principles apply. Get the right bios files for Mess, put them in the Mess\roms\ folder and then edit your mess.ini file rompath folders to point to your roms folder. Brad also did some video tutorials on using Mess. Mess is not the easiest emulator to work with but once you wrap your head around a couple of the basics it's not as bad as it seems. You will also need these 2 reference pages for other systems. http://www.progettoemma.net/mess/sysset.php http://pastebin.com/18W3EbD0
  10. Mess was integrated into the newer Mame core that doesn't have a year after it and getting it to work is a royal pain in the ass. You are better off using the stand alone Mess since it is much easier to setup. But if you insist on doing it through Retroarch here is a bit of a guide that was posted over on the Retroarch forums that was made for the NeoGeo CD so you would have to make adjustments accordingly for other systems. http://libretro.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7411&p=50527&viewfull=1#post50527
  11. Some guy is on kijiji which is a Canadian buy / sell / trade asking 400$ for one, they were 80$ in the store.
  12. Yeah I want one as well and will pick one up once the initial feeding frenzy dies down so I can just walk into a store and pick one up without waiting in line. This thing is not targeted towards people like us though and nor are they targeted towards people who collect and play on real hardware. This is targeted towards the people who grew up with the NES but are not into emulation or into retro collecting but want to play some of those old games again. A relative of mine for example who is into modern consoles and had an NES back in the day but don't care about collecting or have the desire to learn about and set up emulation at all wants the NES Classic to play Dr Mario again. As far as the pixel perfect look vs the crt shaders goes, that is just personal preference. I prefer a good crt scanline shader as well but many people really dig on the clean sharp pixels.
  13. You don't need one but your mileage may vary with the right analog stick on a controller emulating or if you are using a mouse and keyboard you can use the mouse for it.
  14. Yeah I think exit is the one you are looking for and not stop, sorry about that.
  15. Yeah 130 mods was around what I had back when I was farting around with Vanilla Skyrim. It's so easy to just keep going with "just one more mod" syndrome.
  16. It should. For me Escape which is the default just worked and it's what Launchbox uses for it's controller automation.
  17. Well what sort of a system do you have to work with ?
  18. Well I had no idea you could even jail break an XBone yet but then again it's a system I couldn't give two shits about so I don't keep up on the goings on about it. I guess the next question is, can you just move over programs or install from an exe ? Or are you stuck using the Windows storefront proprietary package files. Just a guess here but I am going to guess you are stuck with the .pkg files. As for your Dolphin issue. Open Dolphin, then go to Options > Hotkey Settings and make sure to bind the "Stop" function to what you want it to be.
  19. Can you even jail break an XBox One ?
  20. Just out of curiosity, why don't you want to use ISOs over using actual CDs ?
  21. Fallout 4 just didn't grab me so I just left it alone, I have it installed but I got bored of it in less than 2 weeks. No idea why really cause I like that post apocalyptic setting but the game just got boring to me fast. Yeah SkyUI is such a must have, I hope they get SKSE ported soon so we can have a proper version of SkyUI instead of the hacked one with limited features we got now. What sort of mods are you using outside of texture replacers ? I really love the Ordinator perk mod (all of Enai Siaion mods are great) and the Character Creation Overhaul. Characters feel so much more diverse and fun. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1137/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2725/?
  22. Yeah i'm sitting on 70 mods right now. I don't really see much of a difference in the engine from Fallout 4, FO4 has better basic textures so it looks a bit better out of the box but overall it feels about the same. I think Todd Howard already said they need to make a new engine for the next Elder Scrolls game, the current tech isn't good enough for what they have planned.
  23. Yeah I don't think there is any new content but the upgraded 64 bit engine to direct x 11 makes the game run better and utilizes more than 4 gigs of ram. New volumetric lighting and fog and shadows that don't look they are being powered by an NES really make a nice difference. Here is a great video from Gopher about some of the engine differences. Basically it looks better and runs at a more consistent frame rate. I have been playing around with it and got my ass dragged back into the modding addiction and so far the game is way more stable.
