  1. The price has gone up on it a little, was around 35$ when I got mine but maybe it's gone up cause of the newer model one which is quite reasonable. https://www.amazon.com/HORI-Fighting-Commander-PlayStation-Officially-Licensed/dp/B01GVOFIAA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1477795143&sr=8-1&keywords=hori+fight+commander
  2. Yeah trying to mad the Saturn buttons to an XBox 360 controller is tricky. That's why I use the Hori Fight Commander for Saturn games.
  3. Nightly builds can have problems but still if it's working within Retroarch and other cores are working through Launchbox it should work. Launchbox is only telling Retroarch to load the game using a command line, and there is no other interaction beyond that which is why for now I am still thinking there is a typo or some other setting somewhere causing the issue. Try a different GBA core and adjust your command line parameter in Launchbox to match that core and see what happens.
  4. Well I don't think it's a Launchbox bug because it works just fine for me using the official 1.3.6 Retroarch build and a fairly up to date (within the last week) core. I am also using the latest non beta of Launchbox which is 6.12.
  5. No problems with the english Ummm i'm starting to run out of things to check. Your settings from what you are telling me are correct. Are you sure you have the mgba core downloaded and is what you used within Retroarch itself ? Maybe you have a different core and you don't actually have the mgba core. Check in your Retroarch\cores folder and make sure that the mbga_libretro.dll file is in there.
  6. What do you mean "publish errors" ? Is your extract roms box checked or unchecked ? Since your roms are already extracted the box should be unchecked.
  7. There is no problem with Launchbox and Retroarch directly. Generally if there is a problem it's in a setting or something else. Can you post a shot of the Emulator Details tab as well ? Maybe your roms are extracted and you have the extract roms box checked.
  8. Hmm, well if GBA launch and play fine in Retroarch itself and you have other systems using Retroarch working through Launchbox the only thing I can think of off the top of my head right now is you either have a spelling error or maybe you have your game roms extracted already and maybe you have the extract roms box checked in the Emulator Details window. Can you post a screen shot of your Emulator Details and Associated Platforms windows ?
  9. Does your Platform name and Associated Platforms name match up ? Nintendo Game Boy Advance should be the default.
  10. You have spaces before and after the back slash \ There shouldn't be spaces.
  11. Was just typing the same thing out, Brad is on the ball today
  12. I am not exactly sure what you mean here. Do you have 2 different folders where you have roms ? If you do then you can put multiple folder locations in your rompath in the mame.ini. Simple separate them with a semi colon, here is an example: rompath "roms;x:\path\to\roms1;x:\path]to\roms2" This example will let you have roms in the default Mame\roms folder and 2 custom paths to roms. You can add more paths if you wish just but adding them and separating with a semi colon. I find this extremely useful for Mess, here is my Mess.ini rom path, it's a bit crazy but it keeps things much more tidy in the rom organization. rompath "roms;E:\Downloaded Games\Emulation\Roms\Mame Full;H:\Emulation\Roms\Atari 5200\;H:\Emulation\Roms\CD-i\;H:\Emulation\Emulators\Mess\roms\;H:\Emulation\Roms\NeoGeo CD\;H:\Emulation\Roms\Coleco Vision\;H:\Emulation\Roms\Atari 7800\;H:\Emulation\Roms\Atari Lynx\;H:\Emulation\Roms\FM-Towns Marty\;H:\Emulation\Roms\NEC PC-98\;H:\Emulation\Roms\Fairchild\"
  13. An overall config is good to do for the bulk of your games but some games will need a specific setup. Fighting games and twin stick shooters like Robotron and Smash TV come to mind.
  14. If you want to. I just tried to force importing it and I couldn't get it to work either. @Jason CarrThis is a bootleg rom of Crossed Swords 2 which was originally a NeoGeo CD game in case you read this.
  15. It's probably something to with one of the check-boxes at the last step about importing clones or games classed as not fully working. Try unchecking all the boxes and import all regions.
  16. I agree with you to a certain extent. I agree that having the giant collection that fills an entire room is excessive but that's my opinion and not something I am interested in. But at the same time having an entirely digital collection isn't necessarily better. I prefer a hybrid of the 2, have an emulation collection while having a small collection of physical hardware and games that you actually like.
  17. Lol, I know where you are talking about and yeah their Saturn disk images are horrendous but I have found their Playstation and TurboGrafx CD images to be perfectly fine. Their forum boards however are amazing for getting quality downloads.
  18. Lol, yeah there were and still are some awful rom sites out there. Thankfully nowadays we got ad and script blockers to help combat them and a couple of reasonably decent sites now.
  19. Hmm interesting, the only roms I have seen with .bin extension was Sega Genesis / Megadrive and cd disk images.
  20. I haven't seen and SNES roms with a .bin extension, I have only seen .sfc or .smc roms.
  21. Yeah I prefer it to look like a good quality new monitor than some burned out junker as well.
  22. Lol, well I did say it was only a guess. The reason I guessed that way was because the pixels looked a tiny bit too perfect. Doesn't bother me one bit to be wrong about it though, it means that the shader tech is so good that it's nearly impossible to tell the 2 apart and that's a very good thing. Though I am sure some CRT purist who stares at them all day could tell the difference but we don't care about those people
  23. I don't have any example shots at all, sorry. But I really like the CRT-Geom preset it has. It has the benefit that HLSL has in that it doesn't care if the game is vertical or horizontal unlike the old GLSL shaders but it doesn't have the customization that HLSL has. You are stuck with what you get unless you really know how to get down and dirty in code for now. Supposedly they do plan on customization and ini files like HLSL. Was my guess correct ?
  24. I'll take a guess and it's only a guess at the first being the LED and the 2nd being the actual monitor. Very nice settings you got there, have you checked out the BGFX presets in newer versions of Mame ?
