Did you use that same tutorial (you mentioned before) from YouTube? It should work pretty much the same way with the same parameters and command line, but just use MAME instead of MESS as the program to run games. If you're not able to get it to work, I'll provide some more specific information you need when I'm back at my computer later today.

A while back, MESS had been migrated/combined into MAME. So, you should use MAME and it runs Neo Geo CD with the exact same parameters and configuration as MESS once did.

Retroarch Current Mame-core - where to put bios-files?
bundangdon replied to Pineappleking's topic in Emulation
As Lordmonkus mentioned, it's definitely better to use the stand-alone version of Mame than the Retroarch one. However, if you plan to use the Retroarch core, I believe that the bios files need to be in the same folder where your roms-games are located in order for it to run properly. Update: A few minutes ago, I just tried that (above) and it didn't work for me. There are certainly ways to get other systems like Astrocade and several others to work within the Retroarch Mame core, but it's a somewhat tricky process that requires "Software" files. Not impossible by any means, but not really worth the effort unless you're really stuck with using Retroarch. The stand-alone version of Mame is a lot more simple to use -

Rather than using a fairly outdated emulator like ePSXe, why not use one of the Retroarch cores or use the DuckStation (stand-alone) emulator? Those are much better emulators and if you have a decent CPU, will give you a much more satisfying experience with Playstation games.

Okay, sorry to hear that. I think that the xiso format may be more reliable/stable which is probably why the Xemu team decided to support them exclusively. It's a bit frustrating when you consider this along with the fact that CXBX only supports folders with .xbe files. However, I'm certainly thankful that Xbox emulation has come this far and am grateful for anything at all at this point. There are two tools that I've tried in the past which may help: C-Xbox Tool or XDVDMulleter. I'm not sure of their homepage-address but they can be easily found with Google

No worries! Hope that it works for you and let me know how it goes after you try that tutorial
-
Actually, if you're using Xemu, it does support .iso files, as far as I can remember anyways. Have you tried using this in the default command line parameters? -full-screen -dvd_path Also, there's a tutorial on how to set up xemu here, in case you might need it

Do you mean the wheel? If so, then you need to change the view. You'll have to set a key to change the views on the fly. Go into options - keyboard mappings, like the image shown below. In my setup, I use the 'tab' key to change views

LaunchBox for Android New Version - Beta Testing
bundangdon replied to Jason Carr's topic in Android
Yep, that looks like the same error. I'm using a Galaxy S10e with Android 9 installed. And I tried the latest beta that was just released (now) and it seems to be working fine again. Thanks a lot! -
LaunchBox for Android New Version - Beta Testing
bundangdon replied to Jason Carr's topic in Android
@Jason Carr I'm having a problem getting this latest beta to start. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing, but it always crashes at startup. On a strange note, the file in my downloads folder indicates that it's "beta-4". And when I revert back to version 1.0 there's no issues. -
No worries! Glad you got it working

You can add all 5 chapters (all 5 .exe files), and afterwards select them all (by holding shift), click on all 5 chapters, and then right click - choose the option "Combine Selected Games". By doing that, you can combine them all into one title. And when you want to choose one of the chapters, right click - choose the option "Play version...". Then, you're good to go!
-
Tried that too. Same results, haha. Well, I'll give up on this for now and maybe somewhere down the road, Teknoparrot will learn to play nice with LaunchBox
-
Thanks for the advice, but I tried that and the results were the same. This error after exiting out of a game with TP is definitely weird, but certainly not a deal-breaker either
-
This is one of the weirdest errors I've ever come across in all my years, as a long-time user of LaunchBox and emulation in general. While using Teknoparrot on its own, there are no errors after hitting the ESC key, but there are a barrage of errors after hitting the ESC key if I run the game within LaunchBox. Also, I'm not using any hotkey commands/scripts and have no extra programs or add-ons running.
-
I can confirm the same error popping up after exiting out of a game. Just tried it out and I run into the same issue while exiting back into LaunchBox. Out of curiosity, I also tried out an older version of TP (version 1.00.393) and this error doesn't happen. So, it's definitely an issue with the latest version of TP

Try this in the "Running Script" section. (Copy and paste) This works for me with Yuzu and several other emulators. Then, you can press ESC to exit out of games. ; This section closes Yuzu when pressing Escape $Esc:: { Process, Close, {{{StartupEXE}}} }

Just tried this out and getting a bunch of errors, making the theme pretty much unusable. I noticed that a lot of the code (as seen in the errors) in this keeps searching for a "LB Galaxy 1.0" folder, and that's likely the root of the problem. You'll probably need to go back and change the directory locations in the code, especially if users don't have the "LB Galaxy 1.0" theme.

No problem! Not sure what their reasoning was, but perhaps it was designed like that (originally) to keep everything more uniformed and consistent, so that everything in that area was kept at a 16x9 ratio, even if the screenshots/videos happen to be 4x3
