  1. @faeran is there any way you can pm me the beta 3 download? I just recently cleaned up my PC's hard drive and deleted a bunch of stuff and only have the beta 4 in the updates folder. However, if the next (new) beta is being released soon, I can wait. I'm having the same issue as others, where everything in LaunchBox freezes up unless I switch to another platform.
  2. Thanks a lot for the quick reply. I'll do a little more research and try to find the games (soon) that are not 1920x1080 and could use bezels.
  3. Just wondering, which Teknoparrot games were you able to use the reshader files with successfully? So far, every game I've tried runs 1920x1080 which eliminates the need for a bezel. However, I've only tried a handful of games, so I still need to do some more research on this
  4. Update: The latest version now supports CD games BigPEmu (richwhitehouse.com)
  5. There's a couple of ways to do this: 1. Select all of the items in that Neo Geo Playlist (press CTRL+A) 2. Right-click those games with your mouse and select "Open Bulk Edit Wizard" 3. Click "Next" and then choose "Platform" in the field 4. For "Value" you can type SNK Neo Geo AES or SNK Neo Geo MVS, or whatever you named it previously That should move them to the SNK Neo Geo Field, but it will remove them from the Mame/Arcade platform. The other method is to simply copy or move that playlist to the same category (Consoles, Arcade, etc.) by right-clicking the playlist and then click "Edit".

    Overlays

No problem! Hope you're able to get those layouts/bezels working properly with Retroarch

    Overlays

Check your "config" folder. For example, for the nestopia core (NES), it would be located here: ...\retroarch\config\Nestopia And if you want to start all over with that core, delete the Nestopia.cfg file However, you should be able to keep that file and when you save an override, it automatically over-writes that same file. If you're still running into problems, here's a pretty decent youtube tutorial on how to set up bezels/overlays within Retroarch

    Overlays

There are probably better tutorials out there (youtube), but here's a quick step by step on how you should save your retroarch overlays. Load up a game in retroarch, and choose your overlay (F1, Quick Menu, On Screen Overlays) Go back into the game, and press F1 once more Choose "Quick Menu", Scroll all the way down to "Overrides" and then choose either "Save Game Overrides" (only for individual games) or "Save Core Overrides" (for all games in that system/platform). And that should save the layout you want for that particular game or system

    Overlays

Are you using these overlays with Retroarch or Mame? If you're using them with Retroarch, then you need to save the configuration for each game or system within the Retroarch program itself. It's a bit complicated at first, but becomes easy once you've set up a few overlays. As for Mame, the overlays usually save themselves automatically
  10. @Rob_G Another great update! However, I noticed a strange issue with the platforms and platforms categories text list. The selection bar isn't there. Maybe it's just me? But the selection bar works fine in the games list, but it's not visible with the text-list for platforms and categories.
  11. Not a bad idea, but why not make it donationware? Or, make a premium version like LaunchBox does, which would give users an option to pay for a more complete/enhanced version
  12. Fantastic work! Thanks a lot for sharing this!
  13. @AsparagusTrevor This is an excellent theme and the overall look and feel is very professional looking! My only gripe is that the (black) background in most of the views isn't all that pleasing on the eyes, and it would be nice to have fanart or platform art in the background to give it some variety. Just a minor gripe, but if you could add that in there or possibly make it an option somehow, it would be great
  14. PowerPoint is also another good alternative. It may not be as flashy or have as many options as some of the other video editing programs, but it's rather quick and easy to make a .mp4 from a ppt
  15. There's a detailed tutorial here: Just scroll down to the 3rd or 4th post and it's explained in a pretty clear way. It requires a few extra steps but it's certainly possible.
  16. Wow! Great update! Thanks a lot for sharing this
  17. Nicely done! Thanks again (and always) for sharing this great program
  18. Another great update! Really looking forward to trying this out (later today hopefully) and thanks always for sharing this with the LB community!
  19. This is just a quick solution, but if you're using BigBox, you can use an older theme and they should be turned off in most cases. For example, I'm using the "Unified Lives" theme and the 3D models aren't appearing on the screen
  20. Thanks again for the great updates! @y2guru Just wondering, is there any ETA for when the non-evaluation version will be released?
  21. +1 for this, and also please add the Citra-Canary version, which has recently been (officially) ported over to Android
  22. Great work once again! Thanks so much for sharing this amazing program with the LB community!
  23. For all of you Atari Jaguar fans, a new Atari Jaguar emulator has been released, named "BigPEmu". Supposedly it's the program-emulator used in the Atari 50th Anniversary Collection and has a 100% compatibility rate, including CD games (updated 2/10/23). Can't really confirm that just yet, but so far, I've got it working fine and it's running smoothly with no extra parameters in LaunchBox. Here's the link to the author's homepage: https://www.richwhitehouse.com/jaguar/index.php Someone on YouTube recently posted a video about it too earlier today. Here's the link:
  24. Another great update! Keep up the good work and look forward to the next release
