  1. Hardeep Singh said adventure island also That was a fun game... and pretty difficult too.
  2. Good idea for a tutorial... I think it will really help people.
  3. CriticalCid said Awesome to have such a feature but I don’t necessarily want all the lists/genres as different platforms or in a separate platform at all. Would it be possible to add an option that these games in the list just simply get the favorites tag? Can you import the list, select all and mark as favorites, then delete the platform?
  4. It's a pretty minor issue, IMO, so I never mentioned it. I could get by fine if it doesn't get changed. :)
  5. Sorry I didn't see that earlier... mine is also set to 125% text and has the same text misalignment. Getting too old for that 100% text. ;P
  6. Jason Carr said Drybonz said I'm getting a crash when I grab and drag the scrollbar to scroll in the game details sidebar. It does not crash if I mouse wheel scroll through it... only using the scrollbar. Error message is just the generic "has stopped working". @Drybonz, what video playback engine are you using in LaunchBox, just in case that is the problem? I haven't yet been able to replicate this either. VLC
  7. He has these txt/bat files that copy the roms... would that be useful? Attaching an example.
  8. Might be kind of fun to add the "all killer, no filler" filter. lol https://www.launchbox-app.com/forum/emulation/all-killer-no-filler-arcade-games
  9. Looking great... I like the tabs at the top. Screenshots are a really nice touch.
  10. Jason Carr said Check your key mappings @Drybonz? That one was my fault... sorry.
  11. Esc key for "back" doesn't seem to be working any more in Big Box. New views are cool but don't seem very practical for paging through large numbers of titles.
  12. Wow! That other program is sounding pretty sweet... lol. I guess using that would be way better than my idea of importing the sets of missing art... way easier, and you wouldn't need to worry about sorting in LB, you could just manage it in the other program. I like the way it shows each piece of available art too.
  13. Ah... that did it, thanks. I had the table checked but I had to check LB as well. Working fine now.
  14. This might sound weird but would a filter for missing art be useful so that you can quickly find games that you need to add art? Not sure if that would even be possible. Actually, that might work better as a category for sorting within the frontend.
  15. One of my pinball tables gets the error message "the requested operation requires elevation" when I open it in LB. If I just open it with VP it works fine. This is the first time I have seen this error. How do I get around this?
  16. Nice... so there are two screens of filters now? This is awesome. I thought Vs. Nintendo and Deco Cassette might be good filters too... what do you think?
  17. Try opening Launchbox on a secondary monitor. Try the scrollbar then... also try opening the options menu. Let me know if they crash LB. *edit* Ah... never mind. I just tried the options menu on the primary monitor and it crashes too. So much for that theory.
  18. I both worked it out for myself and found it pretty hard to use. lol
  19. It should be... I use it for Ultrastik/Ultramap and it has a tab right there for Xpadder too. Haven't tried it but it should work.
  20. I use it for its bezel features, pause and ultramap switching. It's a real bear to set up, but once you get it going it's pretty useful.
  21. Antropus said my unfinished List Manager I like that cabinet art... does that draw from the MAME art files?
  22. I'm getting a crash when I grab and drag the scrollbar to scroll in the game details sidebar. It does not crash if I mouse wheel scroll through it... only using the scrollbar. Error message is just the generic "has stopped working".
  23. I don't read much science fiction any more, but my girlfriend just read this series and she really liked it.
  24. Zork would be Dosbox. TRS-80 was a crappy old Radio Shack computer. It was actually the first computer I had. I have no idea if it's emulated, but would be interested to find out. I vaguely remember that game as well.

    Pinball PA

I took a mini-vacation this weekend and stopped in a place called Pinball PA. It's in a small town west of Pittsburgh and it has about 400 working arcade and pinball machines. There were some really old and rare games, and some real classics. A handful of the machines had problems and he had a few that were rebuilt or had some hardware that was not original, but overall it was a really awesome collection. You pay to get in and the games are all on free-play. Off the top of my head, some of the games I played: Major Havoc, Tempest, Dragon's Lair, Space Zap, Pole Position (sit down), Sinistar (sit down, what?!?!?), Spy Hunter (sit down), Moon Patrol, Blue Shark!!!, Battle Zone, Asteroids Deluxe, Space Invaders, Gorf, Discs of Tron, Tron, Joust, Galaga, Galaxian, Gaplus, Ikari Warriors, Black Widow, Boot Hill!!!!, Fire Truck, Omega Race, Destroyer, Sky Raider, Jaws, Sea Wolf, Missile Command, Marble Madness, Pac-Man, Baby Pac-Man, Berserk, Frenzy, Red Baron, Star Trek, Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, Lunar Lander, Solar Fox, Wizard of Wor, Robotron 2084, Stargate, Defender, Mr. Do, Satan's Hollow, Gyruss, Afterburner, Warrior, Reactor, and probably some others... this is not including the pinball machines. I was there for 6 hours and didn't get to play a bunch of stuff. This place is definitely worth the trip if you can make it.
