Blade Runner Blade Runner is an edit/redo of the Modern Mini theme by @vsilvalopes which was based off of @Grila ClassicMini theme. I'm the theme playing a theme disguised as another theme. Theme Files Blade Runner - PS4 Blade Runner - XBOX Options included Full set of custom Platform Logos, you may need to match the names to your Platforms. Do this by going into Blade Runner/Images/Platforms/Clear Logo Included my custom Arcade Banner Clear Logo, its an edit/re color of the original @ReignStumble Arcade Logo Optional WheelGamesView called WheelGamesView - No Fade, renaming and replacing the xml will turn off the Fade for the first wheel video background view. Do this by going into Blade Runner/Views/ Optional Extra Background image for the Options and System views named czchmini - optional located in Blade Runner/Images/Theme. You can replace the background here as you wish In PlatformWheel1FiltersView, PlatformWheel2FiltersView, WheelGamesView, Wheel2GamesView, and WheelGamesView - No Fade all located in Blade Runner/Views, has a section in the xml called <!-- STATIC CUSTOM HEADER TEXT -->. Look in this area for text="", in this area you can customize your theme to display whatever you like here. Use Notepad++ to open the xml file, enter whatever you like and save. User created files that work well with this theme @ReignStumble's Console Artwork Pack. Get them here @Zombeaver's excellent Platform Clear Logos. Get them here @Zombeaver's awesome, seriously!, Platform Banners. Get them here My other background videos for CityHunter 2 here Thanks to @CriticalCid for all your input, guidance and always ready to help @eatkinola for creating an awesome backend and always taking my personal request @Grila for making the original ClassicMini that inspired @vsilvalopes to make the Modern Mini that inspired me to make Blade Runner @Zombeaver for helping me very early on with the basics of photoshop @Jason Carr for giving a canvas for the community to paint on.- 5 comments

The matching wheel set is also coming with, similar how I did with Project 2501 so its perfect timing for an update.

With the video engine and DPI fix? Cid just recently updated and its apparently a complete rebuild. I should be able to have it up sometime mid next week. Sorry.

I have been having an issue with the latest RA update with per core configs and shaders. I went back to 1.5 and dont have any issues. *shrug*

Will do man, thanks. Most of my stuff is pretty standard but if I come across something will let you know.

@Grila Thanks for the retropi theme, my retropi is super happy about it.

So in trying to cut down video file size for CityHunter - Mini I was able to reduce CityHunter 2 background video from 278mb to 108mb with zero loss in quality. I will be going through and re-doing each and every video in the download section to cut back file sizes and make the downloading and uploading process less painful.

There really isnt a single theme out there atm that catches the Arcade like feel of Hyperspin. Quite a few themes in the download section that do feature wheel views. @eatkinola is working on a really cool theme right now called Nostalgia that may scratch that Hyperspin itch that a lot of users are looking for. For now I suggest downloading a few different themes and seeing which one you like best. There are some really nice ones out there to play around with. Most of us also encourage modding or editing existing themes to improve on them or create something new.

A number of great themes have full video as a background in the downloads section. To name a few, CriticalZone, Fundamental, AeonNox, Noshonthis, modernmini, Epoch09, RetroAO, MinimalAO, CityHunter 2, Project 2501. You can have as many themes as you like and change them on the fly in BigBox which is great. I would just download a few, check them out and see which you like. Personally I like everyone mentioned above and I am partial to the last two .

This would require you to change all of the grid sizes for the view in question. Not an easy thing to do because you have to find the right balance or everything will be thrown off. @CriticalCid is the actually coder of the CriticalZoneV2 theme which CityHunter 2 is built off of. He might have a better idea of what you would need to edit. I don't think it will be easy to do though but it is possible.

Would you all prefer for the theme files to not include video's attached to the theme making the updating process easier and quicker to download? The option to still download the video's will still be available. That way you can just pick and choose what you want. Thoughts?

CityHunter 2 is a different theme, it's been rebuilt from the ground up, new code, engine and features. There was no reason to keep using the same "upload" and rename it in order to keep it front and present. I don't have an ego that needs to stay on the top so to speak. I took that 1 negative review's feedback to make it better and got with EatKinola to embed the fonts so that users now only have to drop a folder with in a folder and everything just works. It certainly helped me decided to start fresh and over though. It did make me angry that a user couldn't follow simple instructions but I get it. I was within my right to report the review because it felt like trolling, even if it wasn't. I understand you have a job to do but a simple message from someone would have been really nice to hear rather than sitting in the dark and accidentally stumbling on this thread. I had no idea this was about me. I am having some serious Hyperspin flashbacks right now.

Whoa whoa whoa. I never pulled my theme. Its City Hunter 2, not City Hunter. Its a new theme and there for I treated it as such. I think you guys are over reacting.
-
Well, simple feedback would have been really nice.

My opinion is just as subjective as yours. I see absolutely nothing wrong with what I did. If someone doesn't like what I make or do I am completely fine with. What I am not fine with is a user who reflects their negative opinion about something without even trying.
-
And this is exactly what I reported.

I actually completely removed the original CityHunter theme section that had 14K downloads but was ruined by a troll review that brought the rating down simply because someone didn't read the instructions. I put a ticket in to have it removed and contacted Jason about it but nothing ever happened and I never got a reply and I waited for weeks. So with CityHunter 2 I said F it and started from scratch. Really sucks, I was proud of the 14k downloads. Day 1 accounts should not be able to affect a theme or any other content without there being a limitation or requirement that someone must meet before being able to do so. Maybe a 20+ post minimum or something, not someone that literally has 1 post and it being a nasty review that is completely false.

Agree, texture while nice looking does take away the illusion.
