I really awesome concept and neat spin on a theme. Keep up the good work. I would like to see it expanded more.
What can I say that hasnt been said about the Fundamental Theme? Its original MinimalHD incarnation pretty much pulled me towards LaunchBox and BigBox. @Grila always delivers.
I love this theme so much, my Retropie even sports it now as its main theme. Simple and looks fantastic. Thank you @Grila
I am giving this a 5 rating based on the potential that I see here. Continue working on your theme to perfect it and stay safe in the upcoming weather.
  1. This is actually a really awesome work around and solution since you can literally drag and drop your configs every time you update RA.
  2. Thank you, that clears up a bunch of head scratching I was doing earlier today setting up the latest version.
  3. So just to be clear, any time I want a per core setting like shaders etc, its save core override via quick menu? I dont need to check mark the section that used to be in options per core configuration?
  4. As far as I know there is not a special theme for older resolutions or 4:3, most are made for 16:9, 16:10 with stretch. I think it would be a cool idea to make a 4:3 just for stand ups and crt's but a lot of those these days are also adapting to flat screen 16:9. I think the main problem and I can certainly account for this is not having a 4:3 source to test a theme on. I have some sony PVM's but not a connection for vga, just scart break outs.
  5. Just downloaded the latest RA build after being 2 versions behind and I noticed that I can not find the per core config option in the options even after turning on advanced options. Is my eye sight just awful, am I completely missing something? Also noticed that my shader config will stick to every core I launch now. @Zombeaver RA guru can you shed some light?
  6. Just glanced over here but hearing that Saturn now supports analog controls makes me seriously happy.
  7. Just a quick update. I am working on the changes that Cid implemented recently into CZV2. Its almost a complete rebuild but once done it should be the last time we have to do something like this. The reason being is that a lot of the properties have changed and will finally squash that nasty DPI scaling issue BigBox themes have. CityHunter 2 should play nice on large screens with DPI scaling higher than 100%. With all that said, this is a slow process and current real life events has me tied up atm but the update is being worked on. I also wanted to finish Blade Runner (Theme) before diving in head first.
  8. Going to check this out in a bit when I get home, looks solid from the screens.
  9. Can confirm this, a lot of people just drop it in the theme folder or rename the folders then come crying when things dont work.
  10. You are going to give Jason a heart attack not making that B capital lol.
  11. Also something to note to keep your theme more clean and keep from pulling your hair out, unless you have modified a view you do not need to included it with the theme. For example if you didn't change anything to the FilterView you dont need to include it, just modified views.
  12. Was about to chime in but looks like you found it. The first thing I did was look at your paths and noticed you named the folder Launchbox X (V 1.0). In my experience I refrain from putting any numbers in the theme path unless its like version 2.0 or something. Its easier just to put the version number on the zip file that way everytime you update you don't have to redo all the paths in the views xml.
  13. About 40 minutes ago they were not showing up so I grabbed them off the FTP/sync tool instead. Everything else platform wise seems to be working fine.
  14. The HQ download appear to be missing from the LB options and the Emu Sync Tool @circo
  15. As much anyone would love this built into a front end it would never be possible. To many legal issues and emulation is already frowned upon in many areas, although getting better. There are tons of options to download roms from websites.
  16. V2 all day. As said, It's nice to see an original work instead of being flood spammed by generic templates with BigBox thrown in.
  17. Nice project. I need to get back into cab building.
  18. I wouldn't worry at all. Tons of projects have slow down eventually. A lot of things Jason has been working on are not considered the bells and whistles but more so on performance and back end things. The forum upgrade is a prime example. He is also working on some mysterious major surprise. Just hang in there. Most front end's are not lucky enough to have a dev that communicates with his user base as much as Jason does. Trust I have come from and seen much much worse.
