Finally got round to updating to 1.6.0 and testing the raw input driver, unreal. I played some Street Fighter Alpha 3 and it was smooth as silk. Awesome stuff.

Continuing on with my "indie games I haven't played yet" I'm currently enjoying Fez. Is it just me, or do we all prefer shorter games the older we get?

Looks great @CTRL-ALT-DEFEAT, I like the sprites as platform banners for your playlists, looks cool. I'm not a fan of bezels personally, but I can see the amount of work you have put into this set up. Great job!

Limbo completed, really enjoyed it. I liked how the ending of the game is left open to interpretation. I might have a play of Inside sometime, it's pretty much a spiritual successor to Limbo. Now back to Shovel Knight.

So the only benefit really are changes like port audio etc. in MAME as opposed to new games being imported if they are added to the working list?

I disagree, I think it has helped things that have been put on the long finger for far too long finally get some development time.

Great, I'll update RA over the weekend as the rawinput looks like a great improvement. Why anyone would want to mix ogg/wav audio with game audio though is beyond me...

If anything it's harder to set up. Just watch Brad's video tutorial, he goes step by step on how to set up the Mednafen Saturn core in RetroArch. If you simply copy what he does you will be playing Guardian Heroes in 10 minutes.

No, the Xbox Live version doesn't run on an emulator. Unfortunately emulating games requires some effort, if you don't want to try that I guess you're stuck I'm afraid.

Neo Geo is probably my favourite system for the same reasons. Luckily for me I had separated all of my Neo Geo roms in a folder back when I set up RetroArch on my Wii back in the day. I know it's a bit of a painful process, but for Neo Geo it's worth it ?
