I went ahead and created that fighting game playlist and I'm using this as the video, very happy with it!

I have had this issue with wired controllers in MAME too. Mostly I am playing games solo, but every once in a while my buddy calls over and I plug in the second controller and all of the buttons have been reset to default, even though we changed them last time. Maybe I'll try changing the properties on the config file to read only after I reconfigure the buttons for player 2 next time.

I am grabbing these now by accessing the Emumovies FTP with Filezilla and just downloading the entire folder and drop it into /Videos/Sega Master System.

The startup video feature needs to be revisited. The video should only play once and not loop. The Launchbox feature of marking a game as complete needs to be added to Big Box and the Big Box feature of navigating through game lists alphabetically needs to be added to Launchbox. For playlists, I'd like to be able to save the results of a search as a new playlist. Big Box currently remembers the last used view per platform, however you cannot have a different view for platform categories and platforms.

Welcome to the community AoOFury. Firstly, You will not be able to fit a PC into an X-Arcade Tankstick, it's really for connecting to a PC that is connected to a display. As for putting LaunchBox on an old Xbox 360, unfortunately this is not possible as LaunchBox is a Windows only application.

You can create all this yourself really, like the rest of us did. All the tools and media are available to do so and if you have any questions during the set up the community here will be happy to help

You can set the rom path from the MAME interface too if you are not comfortable with messing with ini files.

Was this other frontend RetroFE? Looks great.

I don't think that functionality is there at the moment, but I know quite a few people have requested being able to launch a program directly from the top level, so Jason is aware of it. Hopefully it will be added in the near future.

I use the RetroArch FBA core for CPS3, no particular reason, but I like the ease of use for shaders and control mapping. MAME is perfect for CPS3 too.
