For the Mednafen Saturn core in RA you should only have to do that once for each game and they will boot fine from then on.

I was thinking about this too and agree it would be a great feature (although I'll probably need a Jaguar controller soon with all these new features and hotkeys ?)

Yeah, Saturn emulation made great strides around autumn last year. I'd say use the Mednafen Saturn core in RA if you are already familiar with it.

I also think all of the "View" options in the Big Box menu should be grouped together under one menu entry.

Thanks for checking @neil9000, I've narrowed the issue down to happening only with MAME. I might upgrade my set to 0.184 soon and see if that may resolve my issue.

I think the view you are using ia a text list and does not show any clear logos. Go to your options in Big Box and change the view to one that supports clear logos. You can assign a button on your controller also in the options to switch views, this way you won't have to keep going to the options menu in future to change views in Big Box.

Found a random enough bug in 7.8 official. When I launch a game from a playlist, in this case TMNT from the Konami Classics playlist, it plays fine but when I exit sometimes I get stuck on the Games Details screen. The video does not play but I can move up and down the options on the left. My button to exit is unresponsive. I tried launching the game again but it hangs on the Launching Game popup. I can only exit via Task Manager and it states that Big Box is running, it does not say that it is Not Responding. Using VLC player. The same game launches and exits fine from the Arcade platform.

I am getting audio from two videos overlapping in the 7.8 stable official release. Using VLC EDIT: wait, it's that Demul issue, I exited out of Big Box and see an instance of Demul running.

I have Kodi set up too so that I can access Big Box and Steam Big Picture from the menu. I love it!

So I have assigned a controller button to show playlists and another to show platforms in Big Box, but when I go to the playlist view and switch back to platform view, I can hear the audio from the playlist video playing in the background over the video in the platform view. This is rectified by simply pressing up or down to choose a different platform. If I go back to playlist view, the currently selected playlist video is paused until I switch to another playlist. Using VLC EDIT: This does not happen when Windows Media Player is used.
