Can we not quit PCSX2 using Start + Select, like in other emulators?

Yep, it's in the crt folder in RetroArch. There are others that give bloom effects etc. but I always liked this one the best.

I have a 4K 55" Samsung tv and everything looks great on it in LaunchBox. I use the crt-easymode shader on all of my RetroArch cores and it looks lovely. For the newer stuff, something like F-Zero GX on the Dolphin emulator looks absolutely stunning at 4K.

The lack of clear logos in that screenshot is giving me a panic attack @SentaiBrad ? I think he means in the game details view in Big Box, after selecting a game. Same thing happens for me for my Atomiswave games, but not with any other platform.

Ok, I increased my RAM cache to 2GB and this time when I exited to Big Box I chose to quit RetroArch from the xmb menu in RA instead of using controller automation and pressing Select + Start to exit. No slowdowns experienced and all videos displayed correctly. Could it be that RA is not exiting cleanly when I exit this way? Or was it the increased RAM cache that helped?

So after all the configuring over the past month I finally played some games this morning. I noticed that when I exit back to Big Box the game and platform videos do not play. Big Box hangs even though I can hear the menu sounds in the background. The only way to get it back to normal is to exit the application and restart. This has happened with RA Nestopia and RA FBA cores. Should I increase the RAM cache or something? At the moment it's not usable.

Yes, I would have used that option on import.

They both have the same name, clear logo, boxart, and video. I have to check the details in LaunchBox to see how the isos are named, disc2.iso for example.

Just wondering if there is a way to hide the second disc of a game? For example, Resident Evil appears twice on my Gamecube menu wheel. Can I hide the second disc and still have access to it to load it when I need to?

Ah that's a pity, I guess I'll need to invest in a wireless keyboard for my HTPC. Thanks for your reply Jason

As the title suggests, just wondering if it's possible to choose a different emulator for a certain game in a platform that predominantly uses another emulator? I'd like to add the MAME bootleg versions of two Neo Geo CD games, Crossed Swords 2 and Ironclad, to my Neo Geo platform which uses FBA to run all my other games. Can this be done?

Sounds great. I wonder could your code for this and the other app to hide the mouse cursor in Demul be incorporated into a future release? @Jason Carr, could this be possible? Two great additions to the user experience if you ask me.

I have pretty much the same set up, only I use the standard Emumovies platform videos. I absolutely love my Big Box set up and I am almost there with it. Just a few more systems to add like PS2 and NAOMI and fill in any gaps in my clear logos and game videos and I'm all set!

@DOS76 uploaded a UI application for me that allows you to configure controls etc. Here you go, very handy and easier than messing with ini files.

I have two of the iBuffalo SNES controllers and they work great for anything up to Neo Geo/MAME 2D games. Good build quality and a good d-pad. I got USB extension cables last week so I can sit at the other side of the room now. No lag that I can notice, the benefits of a wired connection. I have a Mayflash 4-way adapter to use my original Gamecube pad, a PS2 to USB adapter to use my original pad for PSX and PS2, a Dolphin bar for original Wii remotes and classic controllers, and a 360 pad for anything else! I guess I've got it covered ? But yeah, delighted with the iBuffalo SNES pads, recommended.

That's the one game in my Neo Geo library I can't find a 3D box for aswell. It's cursed!

What are the benefits of the new addon? I haven't had any issues with the current one I have as it boots to Big Box and when I hit exit it goes back to Kodi without any problems.
