i'm using 6.12 and in my theme folder for default there is no ._BackgroundView.xaml file, but there is a BackgroundView.xaml (no ._ in the name).

from your posts so far, i've only seen you try using LB inside special directories. would you be able to try LB installed in something like: c:\Launchbox if you still get permissions issues, maybe there is a real bug here. i'm assuming you are using a user account that is in the administrators group? also, does that file actually exist "._BackgroundView.xaml"? if it does, can you open it with notepad? if you can open it with notepad, will it let you save a change in that file (anything)?

alternatively you do not need to run this ahk all the time if you don't want to. you also have the option to put this script in each of your LB emulator's ahk tabs so the only time the press is listened for, is when the emulator and game is running. so this way pressing the key when just in BB for example, won't do anything. just an option.

your controller settings look just like mine except i have wii u gamepad instead of pro controller but i think this just depends on the game and can be switched when needed. so, leave LB out of it. if you run a game from emu without LB, the escape key on your keyboard does not work? when my games are in full screen, pressing escape or my xbox 360 LB automation for close active window both work. do you have any other apps running that may be interfering with your escape key? what if you install a brand new cemu in a new folder without any files from your current emu folder? i am also using windows 10 64bit.

Yes i use 1.62c. Maybe check your cemu controller mappings?

it works for me and i use the same ahk in your original post. what do you have controller automation set to for closing and with what controller?

looks to me like his LB is installed in c:\users\Arcade\Launchbox i'm assuming your username is "arcade". if you are not logged into this computer with user "arcade" then i could see why there might be a permissions issue.

i was thinking about trying the new xbox one s wireless controller, but i'm expecting there will be lots of issues and reconfigurations. there also seem to be some tricks to get it working properly in win 10 anniversary or higher (only os supported) by installing some controller app, rebooting and letting it then detect the controller to update the firmware and/or drivers. i also read about the trigger problems you mentioned.

i see another thread about xbox one. sounds like it can be a real hassle. no need for this thread since it's already being talked about.

Currently I use xbox 360 usb wired controllers for Bigbox and all emulators. I'm wondering if I switched to Xbox One wireless controllers, if it would be seamless and just continue to work. I am doubtful for some reason! haha. Does anyone know if this is an easy deal or if it will require controller mapping rework and/or other changes?

first, i would just edit one of the games, like one of your wrestling ones. right click it and choose edit. click the Custom Fields tab. Under name field enter something like Category, and next to that column under Value enter something like Wrestling. click ok. you just created a category for wrestling games. then i do a bulk edit by selecting all the games i want, so maybe like the wrestling ones, once they are all selected, I right click and choose Edit. That brings up the bulk edit wizard. click next, then in the drop down field choose custom field category and for the value type Wrestling. Finish through the wizard. now if you click on the left (platform) side of LB, you can pick Category as the filter and it will show you the categories of which you will now have one for Wrestling. Click Wrestling and you will see all those games. but the problem with this method is that Bigbox doesn't let you see this filter!! It only shows in regular Launchbox. so if you want to use it for regular LB you're all set. this is a major bummer and i think i posted an issue or bug on this before hopefully @Jason Carr will make these custom field filters show in bigbox like they do in regular LB.

Hi @Machello, I think it would be best to check with Synology. They probably have some file sync rules in place and you would need to tell it to sync these files or types of files in some way.

actually is the file you uploaded different than the clear logo wheel set just finished and being put together on the HS site? i tried your upload but it seems to be missing many.

@Norfair, you might want to also note if you see the same problem with Media Player as well as VLC.

I always use the builtin Windows screenshot tool included with Win7 and higher, SnippingTool.exe You can search for it with Windows search or just run it. Couldn't live without it. Super easy way to take a screenshot of an app window, full screen, rectangular snip, or free form snip. You can save to file, email it, copy to clipboard, make some markups on top of it, etc.

Anyone know where to get the latest non-bleeding-edge build, aka the nightly build, of Citra? Their website doesn't have any nightly build download links, saying they are having server problems. I'm nit sure if it's worth trying a "bleeding edge" build, but I do want to have a look at it just for fun if there is a somewhat working version for any 3ds game.
