  1. Thats not true at all, the working games in a MAME romset are designed to work with the matching version of the emulator. You say you have a 0.187 romset, are you using the 0.187 version of the emulator? If you have games that are supposed to work and dont, then that will be the issue, using the wrong emulator version. Also it could be that the games you are testing also need a CHD file and you dont have them (they are not in the standard romset you have, they are a separate, and much much larger pack).
  2. Nothing launchbox can do about that im afraid.
  3. Just drag and drop the .exe onto Launchbox and choose the "none of the above" option, couldnt be simpler.
  4. You cant adjust the fonts at all in that theme though, its totally dependant on your Windows resolution/scaling.
  5. Thats what platform categories are for.
  6. Yeah, Launchbox has never been $60, so did you buy it elsewhere?
  7. But i will add that we dont just block random licenses, so its been blocked for a reason.
  8. If you feel this is a error then you need to contact support@unbrokensoftware.com.
  9. Tools/Manage Platforms/Folders tab allows you to browse and change locations.
  10. Hi @blackstorm1207 Unfortunately this means that you are using a pirated or shared license, you can fix this by buying a legitimate license and adding it to your Launchbox folder.
  11. Images, as well as mentioning the theme you are using would help us to troubleshoot here. Also you can check the below thread to see if its the same issue you are seeing.
  12. That should work just fine, just check it and move it up the list. What part of it didnt work, setting the images or the displaying of them?
  13. Tools/Options/Media/Priorities pick a image type and assign what you like in the order you would like displayed.
  14. Please dont post in multiple threads with the same issue. Nothing strange is happening, you are running a 32bit version of Windows, Launchbox is now 64bit only.
  15. To be honest 3GB of RAM isnt going to be enough anyway, Windows will use that by itself.
  16. so No then, as they are different Not a lot i can recommend then other than what you already said you did by renaming the newer game, did you also rename the images to match that new name?
  17. Well that is exactly the issue, you should have them in separate platforms, Do both the games have the same database ID?
  18. Correct. Also these will be automatically renamed as of one of the recent betas, and will be in the 11.7 release. New Feature: When editing platforms and changing the platform name, you'll now be prompted to optionally change all the platform folder names, and also optionally migrate all media (from the poll)
  19. Yes, you are using the wrong version of the emulator. The files were changed in MAME 0.201, if you use version 0.200 of the MAME emulator all those capcom games will work correctly, they only broke as you are using the incorrect emulator version for your roms.
  20. Actually what really solves it is using the right version of the emulator that goes with the roms you have. You cant mix and match versions on mame.
  21. This is due to audio software/drivers you have installed on your system, see the below thread.
