  1. That is specifically a theme issue, what theme are you using?
  2. Do you have a full romset, or just a small hand picked bunch?

    Sync backup disk

Yeah, synctoy is a manual process, its not constantly watching, You just tell it two folders, and which way/ways the sync should go, then you trigger it yourself. Far safer in my opinion.
  4. Can i just confirm something? Does Launchbox actually confirm you have a premium license installed? Top right of the screen.
  5. Just to add, thats the way MAME works, those versions are the "Parent" rom and all the others are "clones", unless thats not the case, and the importer is wrong? If you have any info on it "being us and not you", then we would be happy to hear/see it, but MAME lists things a certain way, and thats what our importer should be following.

  7. Just to confirm, we are not saying we wont ever help and to go away, actually we are more than willing to help with Launchbox issues, the issue here is we dont know that it is actually "Just Launchbox" or some other thing unknown to us that is interfering on your build.
  8. Right click the game, choose edit, select the additional apps tab, this will display all the versions, click on the one you want, then click the "make default" button. Job done, enjoy.
  9. Its not our place to support a build. I appreciate the fact that you payed for a license, thats great, and of course we are glad you did and we will welcome you to the community. The issue here is trying to troubleshoot something you yourself didnt put together, and neither did we. We have no idea what other programs/scripts/batch files were used in the image. This makes troubleshooting virtually impossible. It's like a Linux user trying to troubleshoot Windows, they do mostly the same thing, but the actual files/programs on them are very different. Have you reached out to the image creator at all? That would be your best route.
  10. You should of done this the other way around and filter them before importing. Under the "View" dropdown you can hide games missing specific media.
  11. Launchbox is free to a point, it's fully functional in it's free state, but paying for premium unlocks additional features as well as access to Bigbox mode.
  12. The importer does NOT use fuzzy matching, or if it does it is very very minimal. If it was less strict than it is you would have a ton of incorrect matches, which is obviously not good when you are importing a platform that could have thousands of roms. When you search for metadata from the edit game screen, that is a more fuzzy search. So yes this is by design. As to your specific example, those games imported just fine for me.
  13. Launchbox only imports games you have, if you imported a folder and it added 1000 games, then that folder had 1000 games in it, can you show me a image of your snes roms folder and the snes platform in Launchbox?
  14. Dont use "escape" for the pause screen. Escape is nearly always used to exit the emulator, so in the process of trying to open the pause screen, you are in fact closing the emulators.
  15. Should just have this as a fresh extract.
  16. There is no 32bit version for 0.218.
  17. lol, ignore my 1st image, i highlited the source by mistake, its the binary you want.
  18. MAME is a self extracting archive, when you double click on it it should extract the contents, and you are downloading the binary right? When you double click it you should get this, where it asks you where to extract to.
  19. Double clicking it should open its UI. Can i see a image of the error you get?
  20. Know one said you was doing anything stupid, but yeah if your MAME emulator doesnt even open then yeah, thats a issue, so id look at fixing that first. Edit: First rule of Launchbox, get the games working in the emulator first, then we can focus on Launchbox itself. Theres nothing worse than troubleshooting Launchbox to find the user hasnt even tested a game and just has bad roms, or no emulator at all sometimes.
  21. Geome is one of the top of my head, but im not sure how @Zombeaver has this setup and whether he is specifying a specific shader in his configs somewhere?
  22. lol, well if your MAME emulator doesnt work then its never gonna work from Launchbox. Should look like this.
  23. Like i said in my initial reply, have you edited the mame.ini file that came with the emulator, or even by opening mame by itself and setting your rompath in there? They wont load if MAME itself doesnt know where to look for the files.
  24. Thats only if you tell Launchbox to move your files. Either tell it to leave them where they are, or move them to the launchbox folder first and then import them. You seem to be trying to find issues where there arent any here. If you are telling Launchbox to move the files, but not selecting eveything, then thats on you not the program. Personally i tell Launchbox not to move anything and i just drag and drop the files i want to import onto Launchbox. It really couldnt be made any simpler to import games, i mean clicking and holding a mouse button, moving the mouse and letting go of the button is as simple as anything on a PC can get.
  25. You only import the ,gdi files, launchbox doent need the other stuff. just go to your Dreamcast roms folder in in the search bar put *.gdi then highlite the results and drag and drop onto launchbox.
