    Game Title Text

Only by changing back to the old theme, or using a custom one.
  2. Never used the CTRL B before, but i just tried it here and it launched into Bigbox just fine, and using the correct theme.
  3. Which emulators? I have just tested Retroarch here and that works just fine as usual, no elevation prompt.
  4. Just install 11.2 over the top. To be fair though these are betas, they can and will break, if you dont want that, dont use beta software.
  5. I can confirm this. Weirdly playlists show fine. However actual platforms show this. @Jason Carr @C-Beats
  6. Sky Love is marked as "imperfect" in MAME, so was likely skipped. The fullset importer only imports games in "Good" working order by default, you can override this in the wizard, but who wants a ton of games imported that don't work?
  7. You can just delete the playlists directly from the folder more quickly. Close Launchbox and go to Launchbox/Data/Playlists and delete all the playlists there (or just the Arcade ones if you have other playlists). I would guess the playlists appearing in root like that is associated with the way you deleted all the games and not the platform. As i said just rerun the import pointing at the new roms, Launchbox will read the new MAME metadata downloaded to add anything that is new (or remove anything that has now been marked as broken)
  8. Not at all, games can regress in new versions, they may make improvements to the emulation, but that may temporarily break previously working games. Also the region you specify during the import can also effect how many games are imported. I choose the "World" region in the wizard and i have 2852 games imported. Also you dont need to remove games when updating MAME, just run the import wizard again pointing to your new romset, thats all that is needed.
  9. You wont get any support for his builds here on the forums, but yes you can edit individual games to use a different emulator.
  10. In a quick test beta 10 seems to of fixed the crashing when clicking multiple games.
  11. isnt the first entry in that dropdown just a empty field? I believe that does exactly what you want.
  12. I had that in a previous beta, but not in the current. I believe it was a threading issue that was fixed?
  13. What files do you not want to use a emulator with? And if you dont need a emulator for them, dont import them as roms.
  14. Those screens are not editable in that way im afraid, they are kept simple for a specific reason, cause if a theme breaks the options, then thats a big deal and you cant get there to change back.
  15. Im also still having similar issues, although im not getting any error, Launchbox just closes. I can reproduce it every time by simply holding CTRL and clicking a few games, like you would, and i personally was in order to update metadata/images for the selected games. Here is the log. Debug 2020-08-07 04-05-49 PM.log And here is a video of it as im able to reproduce 100% of the time. 2020-08-07 16-10-41.mp4
  16. i would assume it would work like it already does, if you are moving to another PC that PC needed to have .NET installed, now it needs .net core installed instead. Unless im missing something here?
  17. Thats the wrong location, thats the location for game logos. You need to put the platform one in Launchbox/Images/Platforms/name of platform/Clear Logo.
  18. It has only just come out and it does take a while to compile. Im sure he will get to it.
  19. It only has preliminary support as its status, so is likely skipped by the importer as its not technically in a "Good" state. The first game as you can see is "Good" so is imported.
  20. There isnt a reason why Launchbox would choose to not import certain games. It is completely file agnostic and will import any file type you give it. It also doesn't care if they work or not in the emulator, it just adds what you tell it to, so for it to error on some like that is very strange indeed.
  21. Just import them as PC games not roms, that way a emulator isnt associated to them in the first place. Just drag and drop the .exe's onto Launchbox and choose the "none of the above" option in the wizard. This is the same way you import any file that doesnt need a emulator.
  22. Hmm, i have never tried it that way, so am not sure if that is a valid way to import them. I just do the *.cue in the explorer folder of my roms, highlite all the results and drag and drop them onto Launchbox to start the import wizard. Can you try that and see if it works OK?
  23. Your not telling Launchbox to copy/move the files in the import wizard are you? That will only move the .cue file and leave the .bin in its original location.
  24. Its the beta thread for all 11.3 releases, its just that it gets created when beta 1 comes out obviously, but its the thread for all 11.3 betas. When we move to 11.4 betas a new thread will be started with 11.4 Beta 1 in the title.
